  Help! Years - SEVEN to be exact - I BOUGHT Adobe CS2 and widely used. Then, I was in an accident that took five years to recover from. HERE's THE THING: I have the SAME SYSTEM running the SAME operating system as when I BOUGHT it first. I downloaded the SAME EXACT VERSION of CS2. He moved very well. But I can't OPEN the app and the Troubleshoot utility of the reports that there is "COMPATIBILITY ISSUES". WHY?!?!?!?!?

• Issues generated by InDesign CS2 PDF-feather effect/transparency

  I'm at my wit's end. I received a file of the customer PDF created to my features (even those we have used for 5 years). I'm having massive flattened transparency issues. I am currently using Trueflow version 3, a tear that does not support dynamic transparency; Therefore, distill my settings require that transparency will be flattened.   Part of the problem may have to do with the flattening settings used by your customer of PDF creation, not the joboptions themselves. As a general rule, you should have parameters of vector flattening which are set to 100% and the resolution of your device. In addition, you should have your PDF export customers rather than go through the road of distillation of PostScript.

  In addition, even flattening of transparency has seen some significant improvements in the last few editions of InDesign and Acrobat. Remember that CS is InDesign 4. The current version is 6 InDesign (CS4).

  What I would recommend is that you have your client PDF export with transparency dynamic (i.e., PDF 1.5 or higher). You should then flatten the PDF yourself in Acrobat 9 Pro (not previous versions) with the appropriate parameters for your RIP since you know the resolution you are RIP. RIP the resulting PDF file.

  Do you have serialized product with serial number shared KB doc himself or made use of your serial number?

  In the link KB in which Setup is shared for CS2, serial number is also shared to be used at installation time.

The installation process went well through and everything seemed fine until I tried to run the applications.  While the splash screen that displays while loading showed my name and my serial number OK, when the charge program (any program in the suite) I got the error message "your name of user, organization or Adobe Photoshop serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now stop. "

  I have Illustrator CS3 on my computer and I need to send a .eps file to someone who needs to open a file from CS2 can someone explain to me how do? I have no idea how to do this kind of things "inherited" that I keep reading everything.

  It shouldn't be a problem with a file .eps, but if you think it would help in the Save dialog box, select the destination and the name and set the bottom menu file type drop-down. When you click OK another window will appear indicating the EPS Options. Here in the upper part of the menu drop-down select CS2 EPS and what other options you want, and then save them.

• Photoshop CS2 and Windows 8

  I had a problem updating to windows 8 on Acer W500, I seem to have resoved meny problems after you have reinstalled windows 8 three times

  any body know if Adobe CS2 is compatible with windows 8, as it could have been an issue I have had with windows 8 on a permeable intallation might have caused unstable tablet.

  the first person is correct. CS2 is not free, but it is slightly more complicated. Until the product Adobe Creative cloud needed activation. • Installation upgrade to Illustrator CS2

  I read the thread on the activation service is not available for CS2 (error: "Activation Server unavailable" |) CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3, and I downloaded the new installer (from Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products.) I am trying to install this on another computer that I got it before, that the computer is dead, and I wasn't able to disable CS2.

  Anyway, with the new setup file of Adobe, I tried to activate it using my AI CS2 serial number, and it did not work. Am I supposed to use the AI9 serial number? If this is not the case, how should I do to activate this downloadable version?

• Misfortunes of CS2 activation!

  HI - can someone please send in the cavalry?  I have a copy of CS2 Premium (education).  Published Fortunately this on my XP based Dell 745, massive good old fortunately until his disappearance ago following a disk failure.  Not much or so I thought, just programs lost all the data saved on the second disc.  Now I tried to install CS 2 on my shiny new Dell Precision running Win 7 64 bit.  Record all expenses, number series entered but failed to activate.  No activation available phone, no chat support available - well I couldn't see it anyway and I could not find any other FAQ support which seemed to offer an answer or assistance.  I was still not too concerned that the activation window said I had 30 days to use CS2 on this issue and I would request an activation code next time I launched a 2 CS application.  So far so good.  Went to another one to look around the site web Adobe looking for help that I saw an implicit element I could access the recording via the tab help in CS 2 application and also to record the serial number on my Adobe ID account - well, I thought it might help, I just tried to run the Photoshop CS2 element - it opens but I get a dialog box indicating my user name of Photoshop organization or serial number is missing or invalid, and the application cannot continue and must close - what it does when you click ok.

  I don't know if I am being particularly thick or have missed something here, but I seem to be in a bit of a Catch 22 situation now and don't really know what to do next.  The irony of this situation is that, as I understand it - is not CS2 now downloadable for free anyway?

• Impossible to install Illustrator CS2 on Mac OSX Yosemite

  I'm unable to install Adobe Illustrator CS2 on my mac (OX Yosemite 10.10.3) because it gives the error "The Installation HFS disk no is not supported." However, the drive that I installed is HFS + and should be able to withstand that. In disk utility, I confirmed that the format is Mac OS extended (journaled), what is HFS +. I also ran check disk and disk utility repair disk, but both showed that the volume seems to be OK and I still couldn't install Illustrator.

  Does anyone found a workaround for this problem? I've seen a few old threads blocked on this issue, but they did not provide an answer to my question.
