  Adobe has only sell the latest version of the Creative Suite, which is CS6, so you can't buy CS5 more. Upgrades are also only available to CS6 CS5 so that CS3 would not benefit anyway.

• LOST in Illustrator CS3 for Mac TOOLS PANEL!

  I recently installed Adobe CS3 for Mac on an iMac G5 OS X 10.4.11.  Photoshop works very well without any problems.  However, in Illustrator, I can't my tools Panel to appear.   My menu in Illustrator drop-down 'WINDOW' has only the following options: 'New window', 'Minimize window', "bring all to front', 'Attributes', 'Info' and 'Type '.  The 'VIEW' drop has many options, but none seem to open the Toolbox. None of my drawing tools, tools, the cutting tools, tools moving etc are visible!

  I uninstalled and then reinstalled CS3 without result.  I tried to reset the preferences of the Adobe Press "Command + Option + shift + control" at the launch of the Illustrator, a tip, I found online, but it also did not work.

  That's what I think is wrong.

  I think if you have installed HAVE three times, that you have also made an alias of the applications icon, or what you thin is an alias.

  But what you probably have done is to make a copy of the application outside the application package.

  If indeed you do not you run FRO a trash the alias alias and not and make a new one by holding down the command and option key when you drag the icon. What you probably was the only hold down the option key down which made a copy of the request outside the application package that might prevent these features from loading.

  Now, I've heard also there is a software conflict which can cause this but I confess that I don't remember what it is.

  Disabling can be done manually, in case you try to activate it on a new machine, please try that once again we have set the serial number, and you can uninstall just the 3 CS of the mac computer where it is not get turned off.

On my old computer which is a Dell, I had extended PCS3 and I have the serial number. My question is if I download the demo version of PCS4 lying on my Mac, I use the same serial number to activate it or I have to buy PCS4 extended for Mac?   No, you cannot use a Windows on a Mac license.

  You need a new license for your Mac.

  Hi all

  I recently bought a Mac. I have a disc CS3 Extended for Windows and thinking that I could transfer the program to my iMac, so downloaded the prog for the Mac. However when I put the serial number it would not go any further.

  I also tried to download CS2 and run that, but who does not work either.    Would love to know if anyone of you knows if this is possible and if so, please tell me how!

  You can not (as you did) use your serial number of victory with the mac installation files.

  among your options is to install a win on your mac (for example parallels) emulation that is unsatisfying IMO.

  you're actually not (legally) allowed to use the cs2 files, even if you could get them to work on your mac.

  I can't reinstall Dreamweaver CS3 after a migration to a new Mac hardware.  He worked under Yosemite 10.10.5 on old hardware so probably that the migration process is the cause of the problems.

  As I suspected that to happen due to migration was from a machine to another.

  We always advise to install applications from the beginning on a new machine, as in the installation process, it creates a lot of files on different locations on your computer.

  When you migrate from one machine to another machine the chances of broken link are higher due to any folder name has changed, the directory path or permissions.

• Cannot re-enable Flash CS3 on Mac new after Migration Wizard

  I recently purchased a new Mac MIni and used the Apple Migration Assistant to transfer all my existing files and applications to the new machine, including my copy of Flash CS3, I bought in 2009. I use the Mavericks on the new machine.

  I tried to open Flash CS3 Pro and he asks me to reactivate my software. He tells me I have 5 days to do and sent me to a screen of reactivation.

  I first tried to use the online tool to reactivate, but get the error message "unable to connect". I checked on another forum to test my connection to https from Adobe servers and managed to connect, but the reactivation process still does not work.

  I then tried the telephone reactivation process but the phone system says that my reactivation code doesn't have a sufficient amount of characters!

  I checked a forum that says I need to remove a line of text from a file "hosts" etc, but this file is locked and I can't change it.

  Another suggestion is to fix my permissions of the drive using disk utility. Nothing has changed.

  Then I tried to chat to Adobe tool to see if a tech could help and they sent me here.

  Anyone know how I can get this resolved?

I received 1 DVD disc, but during the installation, the progress bar indicates I installed 1 of 3 disks and of course about a third of the way through I was prompted to insert the next disk, but I have not one.   I just got a new Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion and migrated from the previous version of the MBP. Appearently Dreamweaver CS3 will not work with the Mountain Lion, so I decided to subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud.

  Now, my problem is that I can't uninstall the suite CS3 Web Premium (so I can start installing the CS6 creative cloud applications). There is a file in a folder called "Adobe Installers", ""Add or remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium."" However, I double click, I get my Mac installer password and then... nothing happens.

  I read that someone has solved this problem by dragging the folder from the old computer to the new Configuration. But this has not worked for me.

  Can someone help me to uninstall CS3 so I can get the CS6 running applications?

  For future reference, never migrate applications Adobe from one computer to another. It's an unfortunate lesson in grief.
