  I just bought a new iMac for one of our graphics employees, and in addition Adobe CC she need Illustrator CS5 installed, because there is a plugin that we use for a client who is not available for more recent than the CS5 versions. • Problems re-installing CS4 (Mac)

  I have problems to re - install my "Design premium" software CS4 (Mac OSX. No problem using Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator, but I had the rarely need to use Acrobat 9 Pro and at the launch, I was asked for my name of user and password admin, then a window installation for the opening of the series number which for some reason any was rejected. I'm 100% sure that I have the serial number correct as it is the only one that I had when I bought the package and used to install the all-in-one only once.

  After several attempts, so I decided to remove Acrobat and re - install again. The same problem.

  So I ran the Adobe license recovery tool without this help, either. Finally, I gave in and decided to clean everything related to CS4, so I ran the Adobe CC cleaning tool (will also work with CS4) which actually disappear these CS4 applications. I noticed here and there several files from Adobe on my drive so I deleted manually those. Now I can't even the CS4 Installer to contribute properly. When I run it I see the next window appears briefly:

  Then I tried to install CS4 on the admin account that was not as well.

  Finally, I created a whole new and different admin account, but I got the same result.

  The problem would be files that are left in a hidden place, I haven't looked inside? I used this same software on Mac with the same version of the OS (10.9.5) so it may not be a compatibility issue. Nor is the problem installation software as I have the original DVD installation, so I'm really at a loss. I also read similar comments in this forum, but without any suitable solution offered. Suggestions?

  Edit: I also downloaded the Stand-alone Photoshop CS4 and tried to install that but got the same "exact profile system check" followed by "Setup error" messages above.

  I chose the English of the United States as my dictionary language in Preferences, but when I go to run the spell check, spell check dialog box still says language: (no language), and the spell check does not work. It just sits there when I start and does not catch misspelled words. Any idea what's going on? Thank you.

  You must set the language is in the character Panel or via a paragraph style.

• Disabled metadata models

  about performing some maintenance on models of metadata, with Bridge CS4 in OSX Lion, when I go to tools | Replace metadata, all items in the list of patterns are disabled (grayed out). Tried to to stop/restart the bridge and restart my Mac. Result is the same.

  Could you please show me how to re-enable the models listed in the list.

  Check first if these files are not locked and the folder or disk, on what they have read and write permissions. If so try to select these files and right of the mouse and then click on choose purge the cache for the selection, maybe that will help

  Tried that, but it did not help in my case. I reduced the problem down to only 20 images. Will try remove and recharge from an SD card, because I always have. It's a weird problem, however. That's happened with images of my Panasonic Lumix G2K, RW2 files converted to DNG.

• Some Pages on the right-shift...

  I am designing a site of six pages in CS4 (Mac OSX) and I have a problem fix several pages. I placed the test site at http://www.glowtix.com for your comment.

  When displayed in a browser, three of my pages line up vertically while the other three "jump" on 20px to the right.
  What could be dominant to align all the 6 pages with each other?

  Most likely, pages that shifting to the right are those who don't have not dropped a vertical scroll bar.

  You can force all pages of the site to have this scroll bar, avoiding that doesn't happen by adding this to your CSS.

  I was struggling my way through a custom FindChangeByList.

  Ive managed to achieve most of what I would like, but I am unable to integrate some elements I could format it using GREP find/replace.

  I received a Word file, for formatting in InDesign that has 'locally' style bullleted and numbered lists.

  "I can find and replace these two using GREP search/replace using" + list: flea "and + list: numbered" in the "Find Format:" but have been unable to find how to specify these in the FindChangeByList...

  Could someone point me in the right direction please?

  Here is an example of a part of my "FindChangeByList", realized with the help of this forum, but I'm not skilled enough to identify/describe above.

  At the last second, we print digitally, so I went into the document ID CS4 (Mac OSX 10.5.8) and I can't delete the sample of PMS, so I can replace it with a CMYK. I tried things on the post above (excluding this codeing thing that I won't try). Someone knows why. My only solution was to cut and paste it in a new document. But I don't like the idea of it at all. The new doc has different margins, guides, preferences. I'll be able to cope with this bandage, but moving forward, it can be a bigger problem. Any ideas?
