  I'm trying to fix my exposure on a clip using blending mode and you want to do.  I copy the clip and drag it to a higher video track.  I click on the second piece (over the original) and go to effects.  I select darkens or multiple of the blending mode drop down, but nothing happens.   No matter what I select in the dropdown menu, nothing shows no change.  The opacity is 100%.  the FX is on.  If I take other effects on them, but not the blend mode.  I'm totally confused.   It works perfectly earlier today.   could, I changed a parameter in any way without realizing it?    I can't understand.   deep sigh.

  I am unable to use the mix mode (screen) on my videos (shockwave) stock. He worked earlier but for some reason, he decided to stop working. He used to work with only the video layer stock alone, but now its not let me do blend with a single mode layer, now I have to use several layers for it to work. If I disable the other layer (not the stock of video) there is a black screen where the transparency is, as if it's a video of regular stock, same flood on the screen is activated. It's stupid because I just could, be able to have a layer and blend mode would continue to operate. Basically I can't use on a single layer blend modes as to make black become transparent. even if I could do a few minutes ago. Ive tried resetting preferences, Ive tried to restart the computer. With no luck. Someone help me please ():

  Here you can see that his game on the screen and the background is transparent but still black is not transparent.               Here, there is a red solid layer below the video of stock, which is on the screen.   You're wrong. The screen mode creates no transparency, it does that add some pixel values with a luminance value more high than black. Screen does not generate transparencies, never, never will.

  You can use Knoll Unmult to ensure transparency of the black areas in an image. It's easier work.

  You can check the depth of color mode or the bits of the image: Image > Mode and try to RGB color.

  Well, well, I have a problem

  You come to buy Photoshop CS5 - & I design my first image... Here is a picture of the kind of effect I'm trying to get.

  I have a spot color when I try color individual smoke particles.

  

  It is anyway can someone help me and point me in the right direction with regard to what I'm doing wrong - I don't want to not a spot color like that - I just want the smoke particles themselves to get a rainbow color effect. Here are my layers palette to help.

• Drop-down menu blending Mode does not open in the transparency Panel

  I just upgraded to Illustrator 19.2.0, but I have this problem since the first installation CC 2015. When I select an item on the canvas and try to change the Blend Mode (i.e. Normal to multiply), the menu does not open. It "lights" to show that I clicked it, but it does not open. I tried to reinstall and removing all preferences and I cannot get this to work. Any ideas?

  Try to change the first and second monitor. This has solved problems for some.

• Private browsing mode does not work

  I've been without a pc for a while, now have a new with Windows 10. Just downloaded latest Firefox. I put it to always open in private browsing mode. But it does not work. When I close the browser, and then re - opening, my start page is not display the mask or indicate private browsing. I can get it in the usual way, just right-click on the icon that gives you options to open the new window or a private.
  I tried to turn on/off the navigation mode private the several times, still no luck.

  Probably, you won't see the purple mask of private browsing mode when you are in permanent PB mode because all windows are automatically in PB mode.
  You will see the mask when Firefox is started in normal mode and you open a new private window.

  You can use an extension for private browsing mode support tab.

  Tonight, I went in Firefox for the first time at least two years. When I tried to open the version of Firefox, I got in my Applications, it is opened in Mode safe.

  So I downloaded the latest version of Firefox open, and it automatically retrieved my old favorites. However, the download open mode without failure.

  I have pores through the help files and tried a few suggestions required out of Safe Mode. I closed and reopened Firefox, choosing Reset. That did not work.

  I closed Firefox and restarted my computer. Then I opened Firefox. It opened in Mode safe and gave me no alternative.

  I only went in Firefox, because I couldn't access the router configuration page Cisco/Linksys (198.162.1.1) following the instructions I gave to me. I guess Chrome might have had a problem, so I decided to try Firefox. But I can never know if Firefox might have gotten me in the configuration page of the router, I have to go, because I'm stuck in Mode without failure.

  While I strongly agree with nature without non-profit, open-source Firefox, I remember why I stopped using Firefox a long time ago: it is narrow in its help functions, and it takes too much knowledge of the user.

  Have you checked the target line in the shortcut to the Firefox desktop (right click: properties) to ensure that there not - safe-mode switch of attached command line?

  Also make sure that you are not now the SHIFT key or use a hotkey with only the Shift modifier.

  I just installed Windows on my Omni 10.

  Unfortunately, the game (and TV) mode no longer works!

  In other words, when pushing the nutton game mode, the screen Windows and sound/app continues to operate and on the screen, while there is no mouse or keyboard or remote control possible entry!

  When you press the button mode of the game again, the system returns to windows 10.

  I would not go back to windows 8.1, so hopefully this is a known issue with the right solution!

• Updated 7 D Firmware and now the manual modes do not work

  I have just updated the firmware on my 7 d to version 2.0.5 and after doing so my manual modes do not have an image. My shutter will open, but does not shut down and does not have the image. My fully automatic mode (green square mode) done. I tried several times to reinstall the firmware without result. I was wondering if there is something I don't understand. If someone could help me I would appreciate that much. Thank you in advance.

  Thank you guys for your replies, but I solved the problem. First of all, I just wanted to say that I have use a Firmware update CF card. Actually, I didn't know it was possible to do it on my computer until last night just after I had copied the file .fir on the map see I wouldn't even when the drive from the computer. For me, it just seems more logical to install from a right CF card in the camera, rather than do it from a PC. But as I told before for some reason, after the update, some of my custom functions have been changed and it was just my 'Mirror Lock' that has been activated. Once I disabled it, it works perfectly now. Although, I did a reset and have to change all my settings back to the way I had them before and recalibrate all my microphone settings for EACH of my lenses (WITH and WITHOUT my 1.4 x and 2 x extensions) using my InFocus programme on my laptop. Declined just to inform you all I fixed it and it was my problem to the case where someone else fell on this. Thank you again for your time and your answers, everyone. It is much appreciated.

• Windows XP hangs at the splash screen, safe mode does not work either

  I've updated my laptop with a windows update and when I went to restart, it crashes just in the start screen.  I tried in safe mode hanging at MUP. SYS and I tried the last known configuration.  So far these options do not work.  I tried Memtest, HDAT2, Ultimate Boot CD tests, chkdsk/p and chkdsk/r, Windows XP, CD recovery and rebuild, tried to start up with each opening of USB port and even tried formatting and installing Windows XP Pro SP2 and Windows XP Home Edition SP1.  So far I have always in step 1, where nothing has solved nothing.

  I noticed that there is a thread here where a person has had the same problem and he said that it has updated its BIOS.  For hours, now I did research on how update my BIOS by creating a bootable disc...  I'm thumbs on a mile it looks.   Well I tried to Win 7 on a bootable disc.  I followed a bunch of instructions I found on youtube.com, but for some reason that I could not burn to disc.  Kept getting an error even if I followed every perfect step.

  In any case, I watched my CMOS on compensation, but the battery is soldered on.  I just messed with it a little bit to see if it was lost or anything thing but I didn't rip out and one other solder on because I have never done this before.  So I put everything back together, turned on my laptop and it finally starts up the Windows installation screen.  FINALLY!  Thanks for everyone's help and patience.  I guess the battery has lost... but not quite sure.  I left the laptop off for about 4-5 days before I tried to play with the CMOS this morning.

• WAP54G Access Point using wireless mode, but not worked. :(

  I bought today WAP54G.
  My son and I have PC but we distance between our room each other and
  wireless signal is not strong enough sometimes.
  My son has wired Internet w / WRT54GS router and I have wireless
  USB G adapter to my room.
  Cat w / Linksys rep, the other day and he recommended buying WAP54G and I could leave this AP @ salon and do not need to have the connection cable.

  Anyway, I don't know how to install this customer service, called today
  and she told me that I need to install the CD in my computer. But there is no
  connection by cable or router and I cannot install CD in my computer.
  So, I installed the CD in the PC of my son who has wired Internet and
  router. The installation has been completed.
  After the installation, turn off AP and move on to the living room.
  Then, there is no "link" light on. Lamp only Power and act on.

  Tried chat w / online but offline and it is really difficult to chat w /.
  them.

  Please let me know:
  1. can I use this without wired access point?
  I would like to implement the AP @ living room (between my son and my room)
  2. which PC do I need to install CD? But once again, my PC have no cable

  I think that you must configure your AP as Repeater wireless... Follow the link here , make sure that when you set your Access Point to the "Wireless Repeater" mode, this device will communicate only with a different Access Point Linksys (WAP54G) and wireless G of Linksys (WRT54G) router...
