  Eneasmentzel update for Creative Suite 5 is released before Mac OS 10.11 was developed.  We encourage you to try to install the software.  If you have specific problems with running applications then I would recommend posting these errors in this software title-specific forum.  Workaround solutions to allow the old application to operate under a modern operating system perhaps discovered the community in the respective forum.  You can find a list of available forums at https://forums.adobe.com/welcome...

  I would also recommend review FAQ compatibility Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11). CC which deals with compatibility Mac OS 10.11.  You can also find links to instructions for securities of specific software such as Photoshop.

  Nothing worked until I managed to speak directly to Adobe support. They recommended to install the latest version of Camera Raw Installer 8.6.   CS5 and 10.11 are not supported and will never be supported by Adobe or Apple.

  However it works for some, more actually, but not all. There are sporadic problems with Illustrator, Photoshop seems to be the best. Do not expect an improvement and keep in mind that anyone from Adobe, Apple or anywhere else will fix it.

  Upgrade to El Capitan a month ago. Downloaded the fix from Apple file inherited from Java 6. Photoshop and InDesign work very well. This week, Illustrator open to do some work and accidents began to occur. Files won't save and the program crashes.

  No, because the limiting factor is the computer is USB 2.0, which is how it connects any external drive apart the external drive. As USB 2.0 is much slower, there is no real advantage to a 7200 RPM drive. What you need is a Firewire enclosure that supports FW800 which is much faster than USB 2.0.
