CS5 HD export to Facebook without losing quality

Hey guys,.

I'm new to the Adobe Forums and I'm not the strongest in Adobe Premiere but I have used for years. Recently I upgraded my to a Sony Handycam HDR-CX110 camcorder, its format is 1920 x 1080, 30 fps, HD 1080 p, MTS raw file. I tried several ways to export and have uploaded to Facebook to find the video become unstable and are not smooth, with less quality. However, I found a format that played great but the file size was not bad, but big enough to only allow 10-minute video to be uploaded without flashy effects. I will problay get around 8mins with a lot of effects. My old camcorder MiniDV can export files half the size, but it's not HD allowing me up to 20 minutes of video. I understand HD should be a larger file when it is a better idea, but there must be a way to get the smaller file size with almost the same quality. Any help with this would be awesome! Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Wow, not much to go there.

For hardware HD, many here recommend the WMV HD, then FLV and H.264 in MP4 wrapper for YouTube. Other than the size of the file and the length, I think that FaceBook is very similar, and that they also strongly compress with re-encoding, like YouTube.

Ann Bens gave some details settings WMV HD (IIRC) for YouTube. I have one of his responses to my favorites, but if you do a search of this (or CS4 and more) forum, for "youtube + WMV" and then filter the people = Ann Bens, you should find several times. Search for later, like YouTube changing specifications. often, so what worked for a user a year ago, could well be useless, or almost, today.

Good luck

I tried to figure this out for weeks with other different publishers, and they always a get reduced in quality or have issues of interlacing. Does anyone have a solution?

    Your going about this wrong.

Click on your finished sequence to select.

Go to the file menu > export > Media

When Media Encoder opens, choose the H.264 format and for the preset choose YouTube 1080 p.

    Now, look at the summary.

  • How to enlarge an image without losing quality?

    Hello!

I need to resize a picture, I know that the resizing and resampling are two different things, so I read that for printing is recommended for resize, so I resized my picture to change the print quality, the problem I have is that I Don t know how to enlarge the image, as it doesn´t change the size on the screen so that it fits on my model. its too small, I think only resampling it, but if I re - sample I'll be changing the number of pixels and quality, just to lose? How can I enlarge the image to get the best possible quality?

    Thank you

The simple answer to that question is cannot perform an extension without some loss of quality, even if you do it work with an enlarger in a dark room with old film mode, there would be losses, but it's a matter of how noticeable is the loss and the movie was until the invention of the multi-mega pixel much more lenient than digital media cameras. However, you can still do a lot digitally

    1) go to the image size dialog box, and set it to re-try using the interpolation method to "preserve the details" and increase the width and height, but don't go crazy about double the number of pixels is easy as long as you have demonstrated to go.

    (2) Photoshop will have now calculated conjecture on the colors of the pixels that would be adjacent to the real pixels of the image and created them, inevitably it will make mistakes that will appear as a reduction in sharpness. To compensate for that save the enlarged image as a "smart object", or you could do this in step 1. Now duplicate the layer ctrl-J or cmd - J, set the blending mode "soft light" and "High-pass" filter

Set the preview to give a better tip as below. It is trial and error, that is why a smart object is preferable to use a dynamic filter is available at retrys.

What is this procedure is to sharpen the image in a very controlled manner of compensation for the loss of focus during the enlargement process.

Usually if you start with a good quality without compression image this will lead to an almost perfect expansion

Best results can be achieved with third-party plugins such as Alien Skin Blow UP because they have algorithms to more sophisticated enlargements, but this method tends to work very well

  • I can make a picture that I made smaller more great once again without losing quality?

Back in the days where you dragged a picture so he got smaller, then it would change to a smaller image. If you wanted to enlarge the image and then dragged by its corners that you would end up with an image that was not good in quality. How it works today? I use Photoshop CS6.1 and slipped a few images in my project. The image on a layer, I've done more little clicking Ctrl + T and dragged by its corners while he got the smallest. If I change my mind later and you want the picture on this layer is most grand and dragges out by its corners. Quality gets bad like in the past?

Hello, this happens because whenever you change the size of your image you resample it and you lose the original info. If you want to be able to change the size of an element in PS, I suggest you and turn it into a smart object.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Select the layer with the image

    2. in the main menu choose layer / Smart Object/convert to smart object.

Once you do this conversion, you can change the size how many times you want and you won't lose quality, because you will not affect the image directly, but a copy of it. BTW, if you set the size of a greater amount of the original image, the final result will not be good because you do not have such a quantity of information at the source.

  • How can I reduce the weight of the image without losing too much quality?

    Nice day.

I'm still a beginner in using Dreamweaver.

I hope someone can guide me concerning the weight of the image.

The image of the banner currently weighs 1.35 MB (PNG24) - a picture with a logo.

Photography (24 photos on a single page, using the thickbox Gallery) weighs about 1.3 MG each (JPEG images).

Where can I learn how to reduce the weight of

    • the above PNG image

      and

    • the above JPEG images

    without losing too much quality?

    I would really appreciate guidance.

There are 3 steps to balance weight (file size) vs image image quality

    (1) the dimensions of the image (on the screen height x measured in pixels wide is all that matters). Dimensions more small = reduced file size.

    (2) compressed file type (JPEG for photographs, PNG, or GIF for everything else). Choose the file type for your picture.

    (3) the final compressed image quality - visually by comparing the final image for the file size final vs 'acceptability' (less artifacts)

  • How to transfer my music from Ipod to i-tunes on my PC without losing songs from iPods?

How to transfer my music from i-pod3 to PC without losing my music from iPod?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not that a transfer backup device and media has been planned with you keep a master copy of your media on a computer that is in itself independently supported against loss.  To use a device with a different configuration, you pass the old library from a computer or a backup directly in the new configuration, not the device to the library. Synchronization of media isn't a way, computer to the device, update the contents of the device to the content on the computer, update or restore the content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases that can be transferred to a computer.

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases an iPhone, iPad or iPod to computer - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201267 - 'this feature only works for content purchased from the iTunes Store. From iOS9 is more apps that now need to be re-downloaded directly from the store.

To transfer other items from an i-device to a computer, you will need to use third-party commercial software.  See this document in turingtest2: recover your iTunes library from your iPod or device iOS - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 even this method can fully recover what you originally had in the library. For example, in order to save space during synchronization if you had converted music files at a lower rate, or photos at a lower resolution, it is these lower quality files that will pick you up.

If you subscribe to the Apple music, titles that are not part of the content that you have purchased or downloaded may not be transferred and must be downloaded directly from iCloud.

  • Merge two favorite files - one of the former without losing new entries

I'm trying to move the Favorites from one computer to another, without losing the favorites that have been added to the second computer, which can ONLY be the first. Once I have export favorites from the first computer on a port USB, import replace simply all the Favorites on the second computer folder or it will ask me if I want to record a new one to the old double the second favorite of the computer file (like when you save jpg files).

Or is there another way to "merge" two folders, as visually opening upward both files and selecting what to switch to the hand...

    Thanx

PS - am moving to Vista on a Windows 7 computer. as well as the synchronization of the two win 7 after that.

    Hi Maril,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community Forums.

Based on the information, you find out when you try to move the Favorites from one computer to another, if the existing Favorites in the second computer will be deleted.

Usually, when you import bookmarks to another computer, it will not replace the already existing bookmarks on the second computer.

However, to be on the safer side, you can take a backup of the bookmarks on the second computer to another folder or another location.  Try favorites of the importation of the first computer to the second computer, check if you are able to access to existing favorites as well as any.

If this is not the case, try adding the Favorites of the backup location to imported Favorites and check if it helps.

You can also copy favorites from the second computer to the first computer and save it in a new folder. Try to create another folder containing the computer the two first and second Favorites and then import the Favorites from this folder to the second computer.

For more information, see the article:

  • Great Photos in Lightroom 6 are blurred when exported to Facebook

Ok. So I am new to using the Mac OS and Lightroom 6. I get a kick out of editing my photos and they come out well. However, when I export my photos in a folder of the Office they come out blurry. When I'm in Lightroom, I can zoom in on certain aspects and they are clear, but when I export, they are very blurred when I Zoom. What happens on Facebook also. I always select high quality when you import into Facebook. Can someone give me a very basic step by step on how to set up my options for export with Lightroom 6 on Mac OS.

Try the quality of 90 and a size larger than 640 pixels.

Your original is 5600 x 2800 pixels and is 100% quality.  You export to 640 x 320 pixels and 50% quality.  What did you expect to happen with these settings?

I should probably add that if you are a committed photographer and the export of small and low quality of the evidence if the client cannot simply upload photos of good quality and not pay you for them, then ok, but then why do you ask why they are blurred, if they are supposed to be pretty fuzzy to be useless to the client.

  • How to change a project imported 6 k to 2K without losing the changes online?

The wonderful part of first CC is she took in all my 6K Dragon red raw files and set my high project like that. Which means the scale on all video footage is set to 100%.

Now, I find I take this resolution and punch in for a close-up, but on a scale of 150%, the exported video will look grainy, of course.

I know that I should probably have started my project preset to 2K. Then all my videos would fortunately too large to fit on the screen. They would need in the world to be adjusted to (I guess) scale of 25% or something. Subsequently, I could punch of up to 100% easily with no loss of clarity.

    So:

    1. Is there a way to move from a project of 6K for a 2K project without losing my changes online?
    2. And are there ways to globally change the scale to video media groups?

    Thank you in advance!

    Alan Fine

    1. modify the parameters by right-clicking on the sequence in the project window.

Change the Format of custom edition

You can now change the size of the image.

2 make a clip, select other in the scenario: attributes of the dough. Or perhaps, in your case, put the size of the image.

This will leave the image to its original settings.

If you plan to keep this customer, I strongly suggest that do the same you and upgrade to CS5.

That said, the customer can save back by exporting to IDML. But be warned. All new features will be lost or badly distorted and text will be redistributed.

Calculate the cost of the upgrade vs. the cost of loss of the customer.

  • Can I restore without losing data?

I don't have my Iphone saved on my computer. I need to get out of a boot loop, but I can't update. Is it possible to restore without losing any of my photos, music, etc.?

You have a backup of iCloud? Or do you mean that you have no backup at all? Has not created a backup before attempting to update the device? Apple recommend a backup before doing any type of update iOS.

Without a backup, you will lose data. You can recover from your last backup.
