CS5 - installation problems
Hey Adobe. I am a happy owner of the CS5 Package. Recently I formatted my PC and I had serious problems to install the programs. I begin with the installation of Adobe Acrobat. Which works very well.
The other disks are the main problem. They do not install. My computer cannot even read. He thinks just until he says "Cannot be read" I do not understand... I need help here. I tried a number of applications and online support, but the situation has not changed...
What should I do? Why my PC can't read Adobe Acrobat but not the three remaining disks?

Help! Photoshop CS5 Extended CS5 installation PROBLEM!
I got photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 since they came out. I have recently (November 2011) upgraded to Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop CS5, these facilities is well spent, I forgot my login information, but a call to Adobe who understood everything.
Now, I have only 'play' in photoshop and illustrator at home for my own pleasure and really barely used the CS2, so I'm still just a beginner play in photoshop and illustrator.
in any case, after seeing a bunch of videos of Photoshop CS5, I realized that Photoshop had an 'Extended' version with 3D, that I never knew. So I wanted the version Extended, Adobe, I called and he said I was 37 days out on my Photoshop CS5, so all I could do was now buy the Extended version or buy the expanded, updated version since my CS2 has already been used to upgrade initial photoshop CS5. But since I upgraded my Illustrator CS2 to CS5 a week later, he said, that I could go home if I wanted to.

I tell you, they are ALL Legit legal best ALL. (Until someone said something about it). Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5 was bought on Amazon by Amazon, not one of those outside vendors, as well as the Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade.
My problem is, I can not install the Photoshop CS5 Extended? As I'm installing it asks for the code, I type in, then if has two things photoshop listed, a 64-bit and a 32 I believe. But also above them says 'Already installed' with a >! in a white dot. My mouse hovering over him, he said ' If you select one of the below to install again the current location of the file will be installed. "
I go through the installation and I still have the ordinary Photoshop CS5 NOT the Extended Version?
Box and top of the DVD says Photoshop CS5 Extended on them. But the installation files offered which are offered on the latter who say already "installed" above them in the installer, or say anything about just extended ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS5.1?
I went to Adobe and talked to a guy from live chat, but after taking my email and ALL of my serial # s for ALL my Photoshop products, had me try to install again and then just said that I had to call Adobe Tech (it's useless, they should simply CLOSE the chat thing live if they can't do anything).
Anyway, with Photoshop CS5 Extended No. perform the installation on my PC Win7 64 bit cpu I3 with 8 GB of ram, my Adobe account on my "View product registration" Page now, it lists the serial number and the news of 01/01/2012 as having registered my Photoshop Extended Version 12.0 with all my other registered Adobe.
So HOW can I get the scope to install? I opened the files on the DVD and can't see anything that says even extended to any one?
I had Amazon from one day to the NEXT what Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade for me so that I can, as says Bert Monroy, ' play, just play it's the best way to learn Photoshop. "during the weekend of the new year, now I'm sitting here frustrated instead.
Maybe I'll send him, maybe it knows what to do, he always responded to my emails and signed my Photoshop books written by him. (Nice very useful.)

Extended and standard are the same code - you do not have to uninstall or reinstall. The only difference is the serial number.
Everything you have to do is turn off your standard copy (remove the serial number), then reactive with serial number for extended.

Photoshop CS5 installation problem
I had to wipe the hard drive on this computer and reinstall all my software. I installed CS5 and received a message that the serial number was valid, but found no product qualifying. The product list did not include one I've used in the past. I need a way to activate CS5.
I managed to do the work. As I said when I entered the serial number for CS3 it bounced. So I installed CS3 and then tried to install CS5 again and it worked. Thanks for your help.

Download Photoshop CS5; make the message to close Adobe Bridge 5.1, but it is part of Adobe first Pro CS5.5. How to solve?
Go to "Task Manager"--> the "Processes" tab
In the list of processes, find "Bridge.exe" and then click on "end process."

Is After Effects CS5.5 only PowerPC? (Installation problem)
I just installed Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5.5 on a new (2012) Mac Mini (Intel Core i7 processor) running OS X Lion mountain 10.8.2. Most of the applications installed correctly, but After Effects CS5.5 gives me the following error when I try to launch:
Cannot open the application "Adobe After Effects CS5.5" because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app (with Flash Catalyst, which also fails), but the error remains. What is the problem here? Is it an installation problem or After Effects CS5.5 is really not compatible with my new hardware/operating system? Any suggestion is appreciated.
OK, answered my own question. I was installing on a Mac Mini, which does not have an optical drive, so I used a remote optical drive to install on my network. It turns out that confuses the installer. I finished copying the DVD to install it on a flash drive and the installation of one. Problem disappeared.

any1 got any idea what is causing that. I also tried to install creative suite cs5.5 but I got the same error... I am trying to install the trial version
I'm on windows 7 ultimate x 64 sp1
problem is solved I uninstalled completely all adobe products on my computer with windows 7 a management tool unistaller and reg! I deleted all files from adobe and registers with adobe name keys. If the problem was, I believe, with old adobe creative suite former cs5.5 files (install failure once, I tried before) that cannot be crushed or something... then the solution for this is to ensure that creative suite cs5.5 or any other adobe product is deleted from the computer, to 100% after that clean computer with ccleaner or other tools and after restarting reinstall adobe as an administrator. That's how I did and seems that first pro and photoshop works, at least they are loading up and don't crash! Also update works fine.

Most likely the VC runtimes fail to install on your next machine (according to the log messages)-

Try to install them individually. To install you must double-click on the respective msi file of files that are located in the folder 'charges' install as -

The installation seems to work, but the program may not be running. Control Panel verifies that the software is installed (1.8 GB) while the installer has not created an S & T normal ICON and the software cannot be loaded even by clicking on the executable file in the program directory files. I have installed/uninstalled the program several times. Turned off Norton antivirus and firewall and Windows Firewall protection. Restarted again and again. Nothing has worked...

(2) what version of Windows you are using on the computer?
(3) updates are you referring?
Method 1: Try to install the program as an administrator do a right click on the program installation files and select run as administrator, click on continue if you are prompted to confirm.

Vista Home Premium SP2 installation problems
SP2 says its installed but Windows Update shows it as an available update. When I view the system information, it still shows only installed SP1. I tried the standalone install and I got error 0 X 80070564 connection failed. SP2 shows as has been properly installed on Windows updates the history but it shows also the lack of installation after 2-3 hours to install, restart, then back to sp1. I stop all AV, Spyware, adware, Windows Defender by other items on the SP2 installation problems. I also ran system preparation and the System File Checker. I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit on computer laptop HP DV5 Dual Core. I have not found anything on the failure error connection displayed in the standalone sp2 update.
