CS5 Master Collection installation on my laptop
My laptop had to be erased completely and I want to load even CS5. I have the old disks, but the customer service representative Adobe told to download it from this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-product-downloads.html. I have download the 2 files for Windows (size of 1.2 to 4.5). I get an error when I start the process of setting up of "archive part of Adobe CS5 MC file is missing." You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract the Adobe CS5 Ms. "Please download all parts. He doesn't tell me what 'part' I am missing however, and I cannot see anything else. The two files are in the same folder. Should I just load it again of the discs?

Adobe CS5 Master Collection: Digital Setup error
Hello community,
I recently bought an iMac (late 2015) running OS X El Capitan and wanted to install my already purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection on this subject. The iMac doesn't have a CD drive, so I wanted to do this digitally. I downloaded the file DMG source here: Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products
Once I have finished downloading, I run the DMG file and it opens the installer. I double click on it and it opens a window with 4 files (3 files, 1 install file): deploy, install, package, payloads.
As I am not familiar with these files, I am aware that I need to run the file "install". When I do, I get the error message below.
'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the image.
'Install' is on the disk image
"MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.dmg" Google Chrome downloaded this drive today at 05:07 from trials2.adobe.com.
I have two options, "Cancel" or "Eject the Disk Image". I don't know what to do at this point. This product is currently installed on my MacBook Pro 17 "(mi-2010) via the installation of disc with the serial number that are associated with."

Check the file downloaded to ensure that its size matches the size expected.
You can also copy the contents of the drive on your old computer to a USB stick and transfer that stick to your imac and install from this usb key.

- or run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)

When I try to install CS5 Master Collection for Mac, the program keeps asking to insert the disc Master Collection. This is the only disc for installation. The installation process will not continue even theough the right disc has been inserted. Any ideas?

At home, I use CS5 Master Collection on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit PC. I received an offer from Microsoft to freely improve my system to Windows 10 Professional at the end of July. Will work my CS5 Master Collection, or have problems in Windows 10? I understand Microsoft no application should be resettled in this upgrade, as you might do if the installation of an operating system from a disk, and they say all the applications already installed, always will be, after the upgrade. CS5 Master Collection crashes instantly.
I installed Adobe CS5 Master Collection. The installation ends very well, but then when I want to open any programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign all crash. I am able to get Illustrator and Photoshop working again by changing their records respective scriptsupport to .old, but InDesign doesn't seem to have that. I need InDesign to work. In addition, I can not install updates. They download and get to halfway through the installation and then they fail. I already uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works. I used the cleaner without any positive result. I also tried to download the standalone updates for each program, but those who do not help.

Migration of a Mac CS5 Master Collection to a PC license
Hi all. I have a copy of CS5 master collection box and a Mac that is old and failing rapidly. I was required to buy this computer for College and he has seen a lot of use. Macs are expensive and a new is not something I have to allocate funds to the. I'm going to the construction of a PC Tower (boo, I know ) because I can get the most bang for my money this way, and as I'm one of those "starving artists" I don't have several hundred dollars to spend on a new license on top of the money it will cost to build a new computer for me. Cloud stuff is not really an option either.
But I digress, my question is whether it is possible to migrate a license Mac on any PC (to remove Mac programs in the process)?
My apologies if this has already asked. I wasn't able to find an answer to my search on Google or the Adobe forum search (just those pertainting from PC to Mac migration). Thank you.
Boxed products versions Adobe usually comes with the platform applications and serial numbers. This being the case, you have the disks for windows in the box you bought? If so then yes it is possible to install on your new machine with these discs and serial number.
You can disable the product Apple Mac and install and activate on your new Pc. Also note that you are allowed to install the product on two machines - laptop computer and a desktop computer but most people install it on two laptops and two desktops or laptop and a desktop computer.

I understand that academic licenses at regular licenses upgrades do both in a new license which can be sold together. So, maybe it would be cheaper to spend an academic license for CS5 Master Collection to a regular license for CS5 Master Collection, that it would upgrade the software to a later version.
My reason for the continuation of the full version is that I have upgraded my equipment a lot and don't like versions of the software upgrade, since it requires twice the same software installation. I would rather sell off the previous version and buy a full version. From my experience, this procedure usually ends the same, sometimes cheaper. But, above all, it makes the management of software much easier.

With Adobe software, you just have to install the latest version - even if it's an upgrade on a computer brand new with the previous installation of any Adobe software. Any upgrade of the discs and downloads contain full versions of the software. The installation program recognizes complete and updated versions to update via the serial number.
So when installing version CS6 Master Collection on a brand new PC (no Adobe software) previous upgrade, you install only CS6.
The CS6 installer will ask your CS6 serial number and will recognize that it is a series of upgrade. It will then ask a serial number for a longer early version. Which must be CS5 or CS5.5 due to the new political upgrade a back version of Adobe.
You enter your serial number CS5 Edu and CS6 Setup will continue.
However, you can find the creative cloud a better fit for you, especially if you're a frequent recovery plant.
The cloud for you as an owner of CS5 will first be $29.99 US/month for the first 12 months. Then, he'll be back at full price (currently US$ 49.99/month).

I tried the solutions mentioned in the above discussion, and I still cannot install one of the applications. I checked that my user account name contains any special characters; However, I have noticed a hidden default directory located in the users folder.

I have found a solution for all users of Windows 8: you can copy a previous installation (the Adobe program directory) to the same folder and try to run the applications. This works for Photoshop 64-bit. For other applications to work, I had to do the same thing, but for the Adobe Program Files (x 86) directory.
I tested to see if the Master Collection install on a new install of Windows 8, and I found that I still have the same error. The previous configuration worked because it was on a different machine with a different material. So, you can find the Master Collection will install on a machine but won't be on the other. In any case, if you get the above error, reinstalling will not fix it.

I got the CS4 and CS5 Master Collection installed on my Macbook Pro and Mac Pro. I have recently reinstalled the operating system and do not disable the software before I did. How to do this, so I can reinstall the software? If you have problems to reactivate your software and have no way to disable its previous installations, while the only way to do it is to contact Adobe customer service / technical support, which, with luck, can work on it at their end.

Impossible to upgrade CS5 Master Collection

CS 5 you can install it on the latest version of Mac OS, its not otherwise impossible except scenario very very rare. But the official response is this old version apps are not tested against the latest Mac or no support is available for CS 5 Adobe assistance now. But you can get help from staff, but also colleagues.
But it is confirmed that CS 2 versions cannot be installed because they are Power PC apps. Rosetta is not available for the latest version of Mac OS.
