• Extraction of downloaded error "CS6 Design Standard"

  I'm having trouble installing Adobe CS6 Design Standard. I am downloading from this page (CS6 download products), I downloaded the 2nd point, and I downloaded the two parts. I tried to launch the exe (smaller file) which is supposed to be an installer of a certain type. After you run this I get this message:

  

  I tried also to extract DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.7z using 7zip because it's a 7zip file, and it came with 975 errors and when I ran the installer extracts has not.

  I am running windows 7 64-bit x.

  MY SOLUTION:

  Disable the windows firewall and windows Defender, as well as all other anti-virus. Then download using internet explore. Away all this until the extraction is complete, and then re-enable it all.

• CS6 Design Standard on iMac, second machine

  I have a DVD of CS6 Design Standard, student of license, I've had for almost a year. I originally had it on my MacBook Pro, but now I have an iMac and would like to install there also. I was unable to find an answer as to if I can license on two machines with a student permit, but what I understand I can supposedly...? My iMac has obviously, no optical drive, so, following the instructions I've seen on other threads, I tried to download CC tests, but when I tried their license, he said that my serial number is not valid for the CC. Don't know if it's because I need a different version of CS6 to license, either because I'm not really allowed to have on more than one machine... Help?

  I bought CS5 Design Standard on March 30, 2012, so I applied for the free update to CS under the program "Request your free upgrade to CS6" (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/upgrade-policy-produ ct - announcement1.html).  I received an e-mail saying that i was approved.  Under "My Adobe", he showed a receipt for the free update with an order #.  There is a link on the confirmation page to download the upgrade, but when I click on the link it said that I did not download.  I contacted cutomer service a couple of times (phone and chat) and finally I got an email with a serial number for CS6 Design Standard and it said to click on the download link on the receipt.  But now the reception who was disappeared and I cannot download anything.  I contacted the customer to new (chat) service and they said it should be in 24 hours.  It is now a week now and I contacted again (response to open support ticket) and no response today.  I thought download the free trial version and use the serial number, I had, but I can only find a download for CS6 Design Premium, not Standard.  SO, where can I get a download for CS6 Design Standard or an upgrade to CS5?  I have a serial number for Adobe, but not place the download of the program.

  You have to install on the new machine and use your serial number to activate it.

  You are allowed to have two active facilities.  On the older machine, you can either leave the installation in running as a backup, or you can turn it off (choose Help-> Deactivate in any application) and then uninstall it if you want to free up space on this subject.
