  Hello world

  I spent the last few days trying to figure out why my reactive site shows the mobile version in IE8. I checked my code against the forum of other messages similar to mine. I saw Nancy O. also post her example http://alt-web.com/FluidGrid/Fluid1.html and compared it to my code. I don't see anything extraordinary. I am aware that IE8 does not play well with HTML5 and CSS3 so it does not include questions from the media. I'm okay with that.

  Dreamweaver CM³ also inlcudes respond.min.js (although I read in the adobe forums that this file is useless for IE8) as well as:

  Yes Nancy.On a brighter note... I solved the problem by switching the placement of the CSS for the last first to the mobile. So now it shows style Office firstly what IE8 readings and last mobile style. I change the media query to match properly so.

• BONES of Firefox does not appear correctly. It seems that the CSS and JS are not rendered. Any help would be most appreciated!

  I would have preferred someone show a screenshot of the web pages, but it is not a file attach on this forum. In any case, with only Firefox OS, not my other browsers, web pages didn't properly. For example on Facebook, there is no header or footer. JS is enabled in the browser, and like I said Chrome and Safari are NOT having problems. I'm surmising that the CSS and JS files are somehow not displayed. I can be very wrong, but I would accept with gratitude any help anyone has to offer. Thank you and have a great day!

• CSS and TaskFlow problem

  I have problem with styling my application files using custom css and taskflow, I find these two could not work together.

  Take a look at my file feature.xml - MAF:

  

  As you see it is a unique feature that is named "test" with two pages of amx, called "untitled1.amx" id "lymphocytotoxicite.1" and "untitled2.amx" with the id "test.2", each of them includes css file in resources/css/and there are named taskflow "ViewController-task - flow.xml ' with the id"test.3"they (amx and taskflow files) located in the feature file, as you can see on the tab Applications in JDeveloper.

  So lets talk about my problem, there are two situations buggy:

  1. When the workflow is listed first in the list of the contents of the feature. Navigation between the pages of result: working, but there is no style of css files.
  2. When the workflow is listed in any other place than the first. Result: style of css files is present, but the navigation doesn't work.

  I found workaround using Word to Word and insert the style custom, but it is slow and not acceptable.

  I have also deployed on several other machines:

  • Dell Precision T1700, Windows 7
  • Dell Precision T1700, Ubuntu 14.04 (mine)
  • MacBook Pro, Mac OS x 10.11

  And the result is the same.

  looked at the sample and indeed the problem comes from your configuration. You have defined 3 content for a unique feature of MAF. A function can only show unique content at a time. To determine the content to show you want to use constraints for the defined for content. A usecase for this is where you want to optimize the user interface, for example when rendering on a smartphone differently than when it is rendered on a tablet. The content that is on top is content that is displayed if there is no defined constraints which would decide on the others. So if you have a task flow on top then the other views are not visible. And for the workflow you do not set the CSS to use (which explains why the page doesn't display colored). When a page is displayed at the top, then navigation is controlled by the adfc-mobile - config.xml, which, in your test case is empty so that no navigation can occur.

  You can place the files in the /cs/ to your web application server forlder creating the usual img, js and css files, or you can also do it under your http server. AAU tools as TDSB Webcenter sites are not necessary to import static files are placed manually using ftp servers.

  Is there a way to shrink js, css and html in DreamweaverCC or on-line what program is best to use?  When I minify the css just replace what is in my models or what is the process?  Thanks in advance.

  I don't shrink HTML code. I believe that it is very little reward for any problems this may cause.   My server GZIP compression is sufficient.

  Code editor in parentheses with at LEAST the module automatically minifies CSS code when you save the file UNDER.  It is a nice feature.  For now, DW doesn't have this option.  Maybe it will be in 2016 when the media is integrated in DW.  Will have to wait and see.

  My CSS code is still in external style sheets.

  I keep a non-compressed for backup.  I have download the compressed on the server version.

  There are also online minification tools, that you can use.  A Google search will reveal many each with their own advantages and disadvantages.   In order to test before replace you the original code with the compressed versions.

• When I try to download on FTP host through Muse, he always makes it to 97% and stops with an error message saying FTP has expired. Always on my Barstools.CSS and Barstools.HTML

  Therefore, I have to export the Muse website and then download the site via Dreamweaver.

  I have no problem to export at all, everything that big file exports.

  However, even in Dreamweaver, my Barstools.CSS and the Barstools.HTML never downloads... I always manually drag in the FTP folder that I have network connected on my computer.

  This has been a nuisance for awhile, but have always been the longest road.

  Suggestions or the reasons why the stools page seems to give me questions? I built it the same thing as the other pages on my site.

  Unfortunately we have not been able to reproduce the problem in which the internal FTP client of Muse hangs at 96% when uploading from a third party server.

  "In your previous post you mentioned that you can" set up a FTP folder "in your"Network places"folder in Windows Explorer. Could you try the following?

  1. Launch Adobe Muse CC
  2. Open your Muse site
  3. In the "File" menu, select "export HTML...". »
  4. Next to the label "location:" select the folder icon
  5. In the Windows Explorer dialog box, navigate to and select the file appropriate to your FTP folder
  6. Check that you entered the correct URL in the "Site URL" field and click on 'OK '.

  I am currently using Apex 4.2 and I want to know if you still have to import images, CSS and Javascript files, respectively, in a workspace (like the shared components) to use them in an Application? Alternatively, they could be referenced in a directory on the file system? I'm still not familiar with CSS or Javascript technology and I'm trying to find out as much as possible about how to use and where Apex can do. All comments gratefully received,

  Since you're using the EPG you will not be able to reference all files directly in your operating system.  You can load in XDB using FTP, WebDav or PL/SQL location.  The PL/SQL method is described in these posts:

  I don't know if there is any benefit from their download in XDB compared to the APEX workspace.  Guess it would make sense that you had a file that you wanted to be referenced by more than one workspace and do not want to download the file in each workspace.

  The answer is 'Yes', they can be in any directory, as long as you have created the appropriate links so that the files can be found.

  I use 11g R2 and Apex 4.1.1
  
  By doing a search around, I found all sorts of ways to access the global files in your environment to the apex. I found 3 scenarios.
  
  (1) place your files in the workspace (database) and access it via #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #.
  (2) place your files in the directories is (void)
  (3) use a separate http server to access your file system
  
  
  For the first solution, this comes with a problem: when you have several css and jquery ui theme ties css to a subdirectory "images". I can't seem to make the subdirectories under #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #. For example: #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #/ images
  
  The second solution requires dba SYSTEM connect and store files on the system. This is not very practical when you are developing.
  
  The third solution seems to be the most used one (when I googled around), but our administrators do not want to set up a separate web server for this project. I have to work with what I have which is the APEX server and the database.
  
  
  Now, I have a question:
  
  Is it possible to let another user that the SYSTEM to connect to the East, but only to a subdirectory on is (that is, / i/themes/workspaceName) so the developer can not mess with files from base to apex or the themes themselves?
  
  Otherwise, I have to download every css and images one by one to the workspace and change all paths relative used in css, which is a pain...
  
  By using this option, all my files are stored in the database, which is considered safer than when they are on a directory on the server itself.

  Hi Dennis,

  You DBA should be able to do the following.

  (1) create a new subdirectory in the directory images on XDB (it can use WebDAV or FTP to do)
  (2) create a new database for you user (see http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/9i/xmldb-9i.php) or grant an existing user

  GRANT connect, resource, xdbadmin TO ...;
  

  (3) you can use WebDAV or FTP to transfer files to this new directory of void and do not have to use the SYSTEM

  It would be possible to avoid the xdbadmin role and use the ACLs on directories, but I am not sure XDB. But I don't know that your DBA should be able to understand this.

  The basic answer is that you can't.  Graphics program can export your mockup in html format, but the result is so bad that people get to the top of the page of coding manually.

  I read the previous post on April 2012. I've worked with Adobe products for over 20 years and I make my living using your products. But I also create dozens of joomla and Wordpress cms sites. In 2012, I read that you said that Muse is not having native features allowing an easy export to Joomla and Wordpress or I just created a sensitive site with office formats, tablet or phone. I need a way to export this joomla as new installation site, you know of an app or joomla extension that will do that. I know that I might have to change in the code but I don't want to hire a coder to translate it manually. Joomla and Wordpress are the dominant cms platforms and are very assessable by my clients and although I like catalyst for business adobe to really have this program work for me and thousands other work designs that use your programs every day and to adapt the Muse as part of our workflow we need a way to do this. Nothing has changed since 2012?

  Note that these comments relate to the meaning of assignment of names and semantics of the css tags and not the syntax and parsing of css (such as the w3c css and css javaFX seem to be equivalent with respect to later).
  
  You know, sometimes I find refreshing absence of JavaFX features in css. It is nice to have, well, almost everything, the JavaFX CSS documented on one page. I think that if you were to do the same for the w3c css then it would end up with a much bigger, more difficult to understand the document and even what should be the content of this document would probably quite controversial, in the same kind of way that ends up being the HTML5 specification. Microsoft has helped more than 7,000 w3c tests just to cover only a subset of css rules that are available in browsers today. The webkit project lists open CSS nearly a thousand bugs: https://bugs.webkit.org/buglist.cgi?product=WebKit & component = CSS & resolution =-. If the implementation even partial w3c CSS support is a complex project.
  
  When I started using JavaFX CSS I found differences in w3c CSS quite shocking, and it was difficult to account for their. Now that I'm used to JavaFX CSS, I don't have as much of a problem. The difference in names and semantics will be an obstacle to working on JavaFX developers who are familiar with w3c CSS - but the designers quickly will also discover that FXML is not HTML and Java isn't JavaScript and JavaFX deployment is not HTML deployment. Then, perhaps, in the bigger picture, it is not as big a deal that he would appear. Yet, one cannot think that any obstacle to the people easily pick up and adopting JavaFX makes the technology a disservice.

  It would be useful to have a tool which translates as w3c css to the approximations of JavaFX css and vice versa, or the ability for JavaFX to have a mode (perhaps a Boolean value when a style sheet is loaded) to perform an automatic alias or the mapping of the w3c css for javafx (at least for the subset of w3c css that would make sense to automatically translate for JavaFX css). I haven't checked the jira JavaFX in detail, then maybe a request for support already exists - it's perhaps in the private http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-9272 jira.
  
  The JavaFX css model is really powerful and I found really useful some of the additions that it adds above the css 2.1 Basic found regularly in browsers. With the next CSS Java model object http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-17293, you will also better get access by Java programming.

  Thanks for the comments. The gap between JavaFX CSS and CSS from W3C will be an evolutionary process. It would be nice to use the stylesheet of a standard basis, but there is not always a mapping from 1-1 to JavaFX. But for properties that can be mapped, it is something that should be supported. For example, we should be able to deal with 'police' or '- fx - police '.
