CSS fonts do not appear in Design view

Used DW 8 and had no problems. I installed yesterdayt CS3 and now any page that I opened only shows the text in Times New Roman. No other formatted as bold/italics shows. I can apply the formatting and when I view the file in a browser, it shows. No idea what could be the problem?

AHA! I knew it was a setting missed me! Display - made style view styles. Mine was unchecked... so there are go! I have no idea how I unchecked it first place... but hey presto, its fixed and I can go back to the design... sjoe!

  • Videos will not appear in Design view

    I have a problem with about 3/4 of the videos on my website in dreamweaver.

    in design mode, my videos and their text are not and neither did any editable regions. These video pages are based on the same model I used for all my other pages, but apparrantly some of them work and some do not. When I view these pages in live view, text and video appear, but I can not of course change it from there.

    Why the following code does not appear Hello everyone! in split on the side 'design '? When I download the file on the server and try to view it in the browser just displays normally.

    This is normal, the design mode is simply a way of creating your website using the wysiwyg, or if you code the site is a way to get an idea of what the site will look like static.  Design mode doesn't work not all of the scripts, which is why in the latest versions of dreamweaver, we have LiveView which is run the scripts and allow you to interact with the menu drop-down menus and other, which you can't do in DesignView.

    But in the Dreamweaver design view it seems not at all.

    Why?

    I have several other images on this page everything is displayed in the designer, as expected, but not this one.

    My main problem now is that I need a card associated with this image and I would really use DW tools to create and place the tags < domain >.

    Has anyone seen this kind of behavior in DW8 before?

    You seem to have some table cells in the same row of the table, and your image is larger than the entire table.

  • Custom web fonts do not appear in the published content

    I use web fonts custom model Edge animate successfully, but when I publish the dashboard content animate, referenced (in the .css file) fonts do not appear in the published folders.

    Content of the CSS file:

    I could see the number of folder 'fonts' not getting copied for publish destination. It looks like a bug.

    Did you recently install new fonts, especially all those who are free to DAFONT or other? Clear your cache of fonts, fonts nuke is free and does a thorough job.

    Helvetica can be very confusing and problematic, because there are so many cuts, and this has been sold and updated many times by LIntotype, Monotyope, Agfa. The MM multi Master fonts was did not support or stable by the Illustrator for a few years now, but apple continue to put those with their system.

    Not much is known or documented on .dfont (data fork truetype) with Illustrator. Each company that I worked for always has their own very of Helvetica (usually Helvetica BNCE Linotype Standard), am so not that familiar with getting the system supplied fonts to work. But you should see it here in the font book

    I created 3 tables and indexes, but these items do not appear in dba_segments views. Is this a normal behavior? Previously, with dictionary managed tablespace, I can specify the least possible to create, at the table/index is created. But I don't know how works the locally managed tablespace. Please do advice.     An extension to what Sybrand said:

    There is a parameter called differed_segment_creation, who runs the behavior.

    If it is set to TRUE (the default), no segments will be allocated until you fill your table / index.

    Try to insert a row. You will see your table and index in dba_segments.

  • Images and CSS does not display in Design view

    I went from MX in DW 8 and now have this problem in Preview/design mode:

    Styles do not display at all. I'm a link to the CSS page, like this:
    "< LINK REL ="stylesheet"type =" text/css"href="/includes/main.css ">

    Images are not displayed when linking via the root directory. I am a link as follows:
    "< img src="/images/a1_banner.gif ">

    If I remove the first "/" (or use '... / "as appropriate), it is displayed correctly.

    Any thoughts... ?

    Here's what I had implemented badly.

    I had entered the URL of the website where it says "this address is used for links to the site and for the Link Checker to detect the HTTP links that send back to your own site.»

    I removed this URL and everything is now display as it should.

  • Police do not preview in Design view, once exported. Why?

    I created this site with the police 'source without pro '. I downloaded it via TypeKit, and it looks like his hampered in the site that I can see that the font style online after export. While I work on the site of muse, looks that the police is not viewing properly. It looks like a Times font.     Sorry to hear that you ran into trouble. You can try the workaround posted in Source without Pro does not display in "Design" mode. ? I can't tell which version of Muse that you use; You may need to modify the paths of this workaround as a result.

  • Why my CSS font family keep appearing with the brands of the word around him?

    When the choice of fonts, it is better to use CSS-font families where one or more fonts are not installed on the end user system.  If Times New Roman is not available, the browser uses a font backup font family.  The generic default is serif.

    I need to add new types of files, I did before with CS4 and CS5, but it doesn't seem to work with CS6. I followed the instructions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/change-add-recognized-file-extensions.html

    but after restarting Dreamweaver CS6 the 'Design' tab is always grayed out and I can see only in code view. What Miss me?

    Well, 6 hours later I decide to do what the instructions said NOT to do so. Which is to directly edit the file exentions.txt and the MMDocumentTypes.xml file IN the folder Dreamweaver CS6. (original instructions say NOT to change it because the program does not appear there first.) He looks in the User/Library/blah/blah folder.) Well, how about you, I have change the files directly IN the Dreamweaver CS6 file and now my files are available in the views 'Split' and 'Design' This should be useful to other people try to add new extensions to their list.

    Please tell someone they should change your instructions on the Web Dreamweaver site.

  • After the reopening of the dreamweaver files, the table and its contents do not appear in design mode

    I had a problem with the deisgn opinion that caught me all week. I designed a Web page with dreamweaver CS4. After having reopened this Web page, I got the problem to see the tables and images inserted in dreamweaver (the images cut into slices of Fireworks works well). Somehow this problem existed only in design, but is NOT seen on browser / see live.  I thought that it is the problem of adjustment, but I tried to reopen the Web page I designed earlier... you have no problem in design or mode live view. I also tried to start another file, same problem existed (tables/images do not display in design) I'm really confused. Any thoughts?
