IMG does not appear in Design view

Have an image which I assume has a fairly simple presence in the page...

.. .and of course the image appears as expected when running.

But in the Dreamweaver design view it seems not at all.

Why?

I have several other images on this page everything is displayed in the designer, as expected, but not this one.

My main problem now is that I need a card associated with this image and I would really use DW tools to create and place the tags < domain >.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior in DW8 before?

You seem to have some table cells in the same row of the table, and your image is larger than the entire table.

    This is normal, the design mode is simply a way of creating your website using the wysiwyg, or if you code the site is a way to get an idea of what the site will look like static.  Design mode doesn't work not all of the scripts, which is why in the latest versions of dreamweaver, we have LiveView which is run the scripts and allow you to interact with the menu drop-down menus and other, which you can't do in DesignView.

    Tutorial shows the stacked css declarations. They work very well, but I can't follow as described and shown in the Dreamweaver tutorial. The tutorial is dreamweaver 5. I tried all the views but cannot get them to show. I don't see the dotted bar where they should be. It may be a feature I do not know how to control.

  • file does not open in Design view

    I need to add new types of files, I did before with CS4 and CS5, but it doesn't seem to work with CS6. I followed the instructions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/change-add-recognized-file-extensions.html

    but after restarting Dreamweaver CS6 the 'Design' tab is always grayed out and I can see only in code view. What Miss me?

    Well, 6 hours later I decide to do what the instructions said NOT to do so. Which is to directly edit the file exentions.txt and the MMDocumentTypes.xml file IN the folder Dreamweaver CS6. (original instructions say NOT to change it because the program does not appear there first.) He looks in the User/Library/blah/blah folder.) Well, how about you, I have change the files directly IN the Dreamweaver CS6 file and now my files are available in the views 'Split' and 'Design' This should be useful to other people try to add new extensions to their list.

    Please tell someone they should change your instructions on the Web Dreamweaver site.

  • Videos will not appear in Design view

    I have a problem with about 3/4 of the videos on my website in dreamweaver.

    in design mode, my videos and their text are not and neither did any editable regions. These video pages are based on the same model I used for all my other pages, but apparrantly some of them work and some do not. When I view these pages in live view, text and video appear, but I can not of course change it from there.

  • Connect menu USB devices does not appear in the view Client 4.0

    I am facing a problem with the display Client 4.0, in some facilities does not display the menu to connect USB devices on the top of the Menu bar.

    This situation occurs in some computers that are running Windows Vista or Windows 7.

    Is that what someone has experienced this problem?

    I think it's a problem of display compatibility customer with some component installed on the operating system, but I have not identified which we.

    You are right, that the view Client 4.0 does not install USB drivers on 64-bit computers.  64-bit is coming.

  • Styles inline does not display in Design view after update (Mac)

    I use DW to create HTML emails that rely on tables for page layout styles and online for the appearance. After the recent update, none of my inline styles are in Design mode. It is a puzzle. The reason I use DW is to see what I'm doing visually.

    Everyone knows about this problem? SO annoying...

    I found a viable option if you don't mind add a bit of code to the top of your emails:

    • In the CSS designer pane, find "sources" and press the sign more.
    • Choose "set page.
    • DW adds in your head
    • The styles appear, even after closing and re-opening.

    I start my models HTML emails, and add the code via the method above for models seems to work for creating new files.

  • Images and CSS does not display in Design view

    I went from MX in DW 8 and now have this problem in Preview/design mode:

    Styles do not display at all. I'm a link to the CSS page, like this:
    "< LINK REL ="stylesheet"type =" text/css"href="/includes/main.css ">

    Images are not displayed when linking via the root directory. I am a link as follows:
    "< img src="/images/a1_banner.gif ">

    If I remove the first "/" (or use '... / "as appropriate), it is displayed correctly.

    Any thoughts... ?

    Here's what I had implemented badly.

    I had entered the URL of the website where it says "this address is used for links to the site and for the Link Checker to detect the HTTP links that send back to your own site.»

    I removed this URL and everything is now display as it should.

  • CSS fonts do not appear in Design view

    Used DW 8 and had no problems. I installed yesterdayt CS3 and now any page that I opened only shows the text in Times New Roman. No other formatted as bold/italics shows. I can apply the formatting and when I view the file in a browser, it shows. No idea what could be the problem?

    AHA! I knew it was a setting missed me! Display - made style view styles. Mine was unchecked... so there are go! I have no idea how I unchecked it first place... but hey presto, its fixed and I can go back to the design... sjoe!

  • CSS does not appear in dreamweaver


    All my css does not appear in Dreamweaver... maybe because I've upgraded a security fix today for OS 10.4.11. The css is great, works in all browsers, but dreamweaver CS does not appear in design view. I checked all my other sites and it does the same thing. When I select a style element, the dialogue of current Style says there are governed no selected for the item. He's in all of my previous sites, that I worked on. I think it's maybe a library item corrupted. Anyone has any ideas, or how to proceed?

  • Why my XP does not recognize a Toshiba 500 GB USB external drive... it does not appear in disk management or in computer

    Bought a new Toshiba 500 GB drive external usb.  My XP desktop won't recognize/find this disc.  It does not appear when you view the disk management or work station.  I also have it on my new laptop (Vista) and it has been found immediately.  My research online only tells me to find the external drive in disk management and assign a drive letter to... but I don't think to assign a letter! Toshiba says that the drive is compatible with XP. I have another smaller disk capacity that work perfectly on the XP machine.  Please tell us what should I do to have my Office XP recognize the

    Three things that you have not yet mentioned are

    Reformat to FAT32 was probably not necessary (and you'll probably want to re - format to NTFS before use).  XP has no problem with large (> 500 GB) external USB drives.

  • When I opened TB, under 'Accounts', it only shows the option "create a new account. Option: "view settings for this account" does NOT appear.

    When I opened TB, I don't see no information on the TB account that I used for years. Instead, the main menu shows only 'accounts'-'Create a new account - Email, Chat, newsgroup, feed'. Option: "view settings for this account" does NOT appear.

    I am designing a Web test page and it looks wrong in firefox... half top of page Web appears and I have to press ctrl and - to see the whole page... also, even when I see the entire page, the right scroll bar that appears on every Web page does not appear? What could be the problem? Any help will be appreciated.

    The missing scroll bar is caused by the position: fixed; and top: 0px; rules.

    DIV .header also has a height: 100px which is not correct.
