CSS Transitions now render black bar momentarily

Check - so every time CSS transitions occur on our site, they seem to cause a momentary Black rendering problem (see: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3255103/whut.png) -you can try it here: v5.bsidestudios.com (must have the new firefox 33.1) - if anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated. We must determine whether this is something we have done - or something firefox needs to understand?

On my version of 33.1 it seems pretty good, not the same as the picture you posted. Please check the graphics driver. There may be an error about: support page where the troubleshooting information is stored. Update your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

  • Black bars on the left and right sides of all my games when they are full screen mode

    While I was running a game after upgrading vista to windows 7, all the games now have black bars on the sides of the screen that looks to when you watch movies in format wide vs full screen.  What is a display problem? DirectX problem? How should I do? It gets annoying when I want to play in full screen but technically can't because of these bars.

    so I think it is a problem of resolution because I could put in effect of mass of my laptop and now its full screen... I hope I tell me something on warcraft since it can go to lik 1024 x 720 lol... and I won't change my max resolution on my desk... I still think its strange that the game was full screen when I was playing it on vista with the same settings.  I guess that ill just wait for a patch or something and just in front of her.

    Thanks for the help.

  • On the Firefox screen, where is the black bar below the Navigation toolbar that alloweded of the specific research in 'Shopping', 'Images', 'Video', 'News', etc. Now, it appears only after a search.

    If I remember correctly, old versions of Firefox had a black bar below the navigation bar on the opening screen that allowed specific searches for 'Images', 'News' 'Cards', 'Video', 'Shopping', etc.
    Now this bar only appears when a search has been performed.
    Is it possible to customize Firefox, so this appears on the logon screen.
    The bar does not have a toolbar name.

    Versions of Firefox 4 + use a new build-in home page named Subject: House with a Google search bar on this issue (no internet access required for the loading of this page).

    What about: home page only shows a few clips and has a button to restore the previous session, as appropriate.

    If you want a home with extras page, and then set a different page than the homepage like www.google.com as used in versions of Firefox 3 or on the iGoogle homepage ([www.google.com/ig]).

  • Remove black bars during transitions of slide\push

    Hi, I'm currently doing a video to view a demonstration of a mobile application.

    I put and animate a series of images inside an outdoor setting - namely a photos of the Iphone.

    My question is how can I configure the push or drag the transition between two different images, avoid showing images of black bars.  These two images have a different ratio of the presentation, they need to fit inside this Iphone framework and not be full full-screen.

    This leaves "black bars" during the transition period, and I can't find a way to close the gap between the png. I am currently using workaround to have a white background behind, but that of course always keep a gap which in reality does not exist and should not appear.

    I add a picture to show the problem: I want to join the left image directly to the right, no bar in beetween. Thanks for any help

    I make the transition with the clips in full screen, nest and then make the NEST to adapt to the iPhone.

  • Firefox on the laptop of my wife lost the black bar that displays maps, Gmail etc. Now at the top of the screen there is an empty bar, triple height, with just the Google search box entry. How can I get that back? Or is it a question for Google?

    When I open Firefox there is a black bar, sometimes vertical, sometimes horizontal, in the upper part, with links to maps, Gmail etc. When I opened Gmail the same links are listed at the top of the screen, just under the tabs. In my wife's cell phone, it appears in the Firefox splash screen, but not in the form of Gmail. In the top of the screen is an extra-large gray bar with just one Google search box entry. Is this a problem of Firefox or Google?

    She has XP Home SP3 and Firefox 9

    Thanks for any help.

    Is there still the Google URL in the address bar?

    Reload Web pages, and ignore the cache.

    • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Cmd + Shift + R' (MAC)
  • A black bar with command line down load automatically - how to remove

    Some time ago I noticed that a black bar began to appear at the bottom of the firefox window. There > > brand on the left, a suite command line to report without delay, which allows me to write, and an icon key and 'x' on the right. When I hover the mouse over the key, he says "switch developer tools" (or something similar in the sense - I translate from Polish). I spent the better part of an hour to seek solutions on the web, but I'm at my wit's end now - I don't know yet what we call this bar! Whatever it is, I would be eternally grateful for any advice on how to remove this terrible thing my browser (the more permanent solution, the better it is). Thanks in advance

    Try to go into Tools> >Web Developer> > now uncheck all options

    Hello

    before we can send you a better feedback, will you please connect an external monitor to your laptop and let us know if you have the same black bar there?
    Could you also start your laptop and enter directly into the BIOS settings. Is there a false image, too?

  • There is a black bar thumbs who took over on the side of my screen

    Original title: the lost part of screen

    Hi I have a laptop advent 8117 and suddenly I lost about 2 inches from the right side of the screen, now it just displays a black bar, any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

    -Did you change to your laptop, after which the issue started?

    I recommend you to follow these steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

    Reinstall your display drivers, and check if that helps.

    You can also uninstall and reinstall display drivers and check.

    a. Click Start, type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.

    b. locate graphics card and expand the same.

    c. Select the graphics you want to uninstall.

    d. right-click and choose uninstall.

    Follow the on-screen instructions. Restart the computer, if prompted.

    Step 2:

    Perform the System Restore to the point that your computer was working normally.

  • After defragmenting my monitor has black bars across it.

    I recently defragged my system, and now the screen has black bars, run through it.  I tried to update the drivers for my nvidia card, and it has changed nothing.  I also tried restoring system 3 days ago, and it has no effect.

    I restarted after reading your answer, ready to do the repair of the system since the system disk, and it starts without problem.  This is after trying a system restore to a point earlier last night, which does not seem to work at the same time.  Perhaps, she needed another reboot to take?  I'm confused, but relieved that it is resolved.  I don't think that this is malware that I have updated plugins, system and antivirus files.  In addition to the weekly analysis w / MalwareBytes.  Thanks for your reply anyway!

  • Remove the big black bar at the top and bottom of Office

    original title: my desktop image now has a big black bar at the top and bottom. How can I get rid of this?

    The image filled my monitor yesterday. Today, I have a big black bar at the top and bottom. How can I get rid of this?

    1. Right-click on your desktop, choose Customize.
    2. At the bottom, click background.
    3. Finally, click on the Position of the image and choose Stretch or complete, what you prefer.
    4. Click on save changes.
    If this isn't the cause, you could also do that you use the full resolution of your monitor.
    1. Right-click on your desktop, choose the resolution of the screen.
    2. Make sure that you use the recommended resolution.
  • Black bar very annoying on the right side of the screen when you play

    Hello

    I have read this is a common problem, but it doesn't seem to be a solution that works with everyone.

    About 10% of the screen is just a black vertical bar, as if the screen has moved to the left 3 cm

    I have tried a few techniques I've read including the change resolution to 1024, then turn on full screen, wide mode then reset the resolution... has worked a few times, but remains when it is no more to do after every restart (what a pain)

    Anyone got a more permanent solution?

    I've found a workaround (posted by hp)

    The obvious solution is to get the latest version of the bios, choosing fixed instead of dynamic stick and just with the gpu on board

    I found the solution (no thanks to hp) for those who want their laptop to act like it's supposed to without resorting to workaround...

    which means to choose a dynamic transition and still play their favourie without black bars that blocked views

    in any case, credit when it is earned, a guy named kharn83

    Download drivers ATI 11.9 or 64 ones

    just install this driver from HP on top and restart...

    worked like a charm here...

  • How to go around the top and bottom black bars?

    Hey, I've been doing video games youtube for about 2 years now and recently noticed something.

    How I used to get rid of the black bars using all my settings and then using the "Stretch to fill" function to the exporter, I quickly found that it sacrifices quality I would like to make the edges soft and causing a look less in my game videos. I would like to know a fix as soon as possible so that I can continue to make the content of the strong research!

    Parameters:

    Settings.PNG

    The original video was recorded with an aspect ratio of 16:9, but is still the quality of the 1080 p 60 (HD 60 fps). I would really like a specific fix for this soon and maybe some tips for rendering in the PPCC region.

    Thank you!

    ~ Alex

    The other option would be to just scale manually first.  Looks like it would be on a 3-5% of premium.  You lose a little bit on the left and right edges, but it shouldn't cause much loss of quality at all.

  • Vimeo embed - Remove Black bars top and bottom

    I used the widget Vimeo to embed videos on my Adobe Muse site. I use BC as the hosting platform.

    A black bar appears on all my videos on the top and the bottom. The videos are 1280x720p. Site Overview vimeo this is not the case so I think this is the result of the parameters Vimeo Widget of Muse. It does not matter how big or small, I make the widget area, this is the case.

    I can't find anywhere of Firebug which gives me the opportunity to change the fill or margin to change this.

    Any ideas?

    If anyone has this problem here is the solution I came up with that:

    CSS (can be online or connected to the style sheet)

    . Video-wrapper {}

    position: relative;

    padding-bottom: 54.1%;

    padding-top: 2.2%;

    height: 0;

    }

    . Video-wrapper iframe {}

    position: absolute;

    top: 0;

    left: 0;

    Width: 100%;

    height: 100%;

    }

    HTML

    You should now be able to use the cache four points (in the effects of overlay) to remove the border lines.
