CTRL + c press list_box inside a dialog box

I'm creating a dialog using javascript, the dialog box has a control list box with the items in it. I need support for ctrl + c to work on the selected element, so that the user can copy and paste its contents outside. How is that possible?

App.Response ("text", "title text", "copied text");

    Hello world

    I have a dialog (Dialog1) and it has a button. When clicking this button appears an another dialog (Dialog2). Now, when I close Dialog2, Dialog1 comes as unfocuessed. Click anywhere inside Dialog1 makes it as active. For the two modal dialog boxes is set to False. Is it possible I can do the development on Dialog1 Dialog2 post-closure.

    Solved the problem by putting modal = true for second dialogue.

  • TextField inside the dialog box?

    I saw on games like brickbreaker. They have a dialog box to come and ask you to enter your user name. I tried a little differently, but I have not had luck with it yet. Can someone point me to a tutorial or just after a line or two of code on how to do it?

    Thank you

    In your TestDialog class, add this method:

        public final class TestDialog extends Dialog{

            private EditField userNameField;

            public TestDialog(String choices[], int values[]){
                super("Enter a username", choices, values, Dialog.OK, Bitmap.getPredefinedBitmap(Bitmap.INFORMATION), Dialog.GLOBAL_STATUS);
                userNameField = new EditField("User Name: ", "", 50, EditField.EDITABLE);
                net.rim.device.api.ui.Manager delegate = getDelegate();
                if( delegate instanceof DialogFieldManager){
                    DialogFieldManager dfm = (DialogFieldManager)delegate;
                    net.rim.device.api.ui.Manager manager = dfm.getCustomManager();
                    if( manager != null ){
                        manager.insert(userNameField, 0);
                    }
                }
            }

            public String getUsernameFromField(){
              return userNameField.getText();
            }

        }

    Then change your main class to use:

            if(pw.doModal() == Dialog.OK){
                System.out.println(pw.getUsernameFromField());
            }

  • Detect if the time information dialog box controls user has been activated

    Hello

    I have to make a few changes to my project. I can't edit existing program blocks, so I have to find a way to detect if the user has pressed icon for user dialog box to set up (control type is Time Stamp). I have now, I can compare the current values with the values from the previous loop pass, but this isn't an option.

    I'm looking for some kind of property as active control node or something similar.

    It does not exist.  You can create your own time stamp control (like an XControl), or you can simply watch to see if the window is displayed. You can do the last using VI server functions or you can use the API of the operating system. For Windows, you can use the LabVIEW Windows utilities library.

  • Why can't I get a glimpse of the indd files in the dialog box to open InDesign?

    Hi all

    It is unfortunate that Adobe does not add a plugin to display a preview of any Adobe source file in Windows Explorer (I mean, except for the PDF but I think that Microsoft did this).

    But I think it's ridiculous that I can't preview the source .indd inside the dialog box to open InDesign files. He says just, "no preview available". I am sure that this failure is related to what Windows can preview... again, not a good excuse!

    It is also the same problem in Illustrator and Photoshop... or program Adobe can get a glimpse of their own file format!

    WHY?  OR how can I fix this?

    [UPDATE: SageThumbs |] [SourceForge.net seems to partially work on several Photoshop files (works reasonably well as long as I limit the file size to 70 mb), it doesn't seem to work with Illustrator files (despite the claim), and it does not work on InDesign.]

    Yet the question remains: why Adobe is not taking responsibility for this?

    I think that for the dialog open regularly, Adobe wants to use operation

    Open the file integrated system of dialogue, so that users are familiar with it.

    and also if they can use the peculiarities of their OS (Windows vs

    Mac have different habits).

    And to solve your problem, they created Bridge (and even Mini Bridge).

    He could theoretically get into the habit to use to open the files,

    That is, instead of file > open it just click on the bridge icon.

  • EXTREMELY low response to the dialog box print in CS4 (Win 7, 64-bit)

    I'm hunting a problem on the system from a friend...  It's a Q6700, 4 GB 2 TB hard drives, Epson R2880 running Windows 7, 64-bit.  CS4 is very energetic, runs great, open, close, edit, NO PROBLEM.

    Until you decide to print.  Once you hit the print selection it takes a MINIMUM of 40 seconds for the CS4 print dialog box appear.  If you then click the button "layout", it'll be at LEAST another 30 seconds until appears.  Once they are up, you can browse around and make changes, but once you press "print" on the dialog box, it'll be another 10-15 seconds before he answers and if you specify "Print preview" it'll be at least another 30 seconds

    until you get the preview.  Once it hits the printer, it prints very well.  There have not been any hardware or software changes in weeks, except for weekly updates from MS that settle.

    I tried pictures large and small pictures in case there was something of that CS4 was.  This process is it slow when you print a greeting card 4 x 6 or a 12 x 18 photograph.

    What is interesting, is that it is a new phenomenon...  It worked FINE until last week.  Then suddenly, the slow...  At the same time, the dialog box print ORDER SHOWING the ink LEVELS.  Status monitor always displays, but the printer dialog box is no longer made.

    I unloaded the printer and clean all the files I could find that seems to be associated with an Epson print driver.  Went to Epson and got later, Windows 7, 64-bit set of drivers and status monitor and installed.  No difference.  Also tried a new USB cable AND it has switched to the other port on the PC and the printer USB.  Nothing makes no difference...

    If necessary, I may have its CS4 re - install, but is there something that should be done before starting to demolish any worse, or major applications of the operating system?

    Do a printer driver generic default printer.

    If you do not, you can download it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=pdrv&platform=win

    Others have succeeded with Fax or default XPS Document Writer .

  • Dialog box delay P Ctrl

    We recently bought 3 PC to treat our UPS/FedEx shipments. They all have Windows 7 (32-bit, I think). Out of the box, the function Ctrl P (we use hundreds of times a day to print our packing slips) reacted quickly and the dialog box opens in a few seconds. We changed the settings of toner and now the time between hitting CTRL P and the logon dialog box is about 10-15 seconds. It used to be instant! And because we print hundreds of times a day, this delay really kills production. Reset us the printer set back to the factory, but the delay is still there. There is also another delay between Selection OK to print and the print document in fact (another killer in production). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do so that he could respond as he did originally?

    I read the post that was similar: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/lag-issue-when-connecting-to-networked-printer-in/2c1ba12f-338e-4bc2-b59e-ea889161998b

    Hello DenWall,

    Thanks for posting your question on the forum of the Microsoft community.

    I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

    1. is your computer connected to a domain network?
    2. What is the brand and model of the printer?

    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
    Run the printer Troubleshooter
    Reference:
    Open the printer Troubleshooter
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

    If this does not help, then use method 2.

    Method 2:
    Network printers often have problems with the new automatic setting. Please follow these steps:

    a. Click Start and type cmd in the start search box.

    b. right click on cmd and select run as administrator.

    When you are prompted for the administrator password, type the password and press ENTER.

    c. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER.

    netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel = disabled

    d. Close command prompt.

    Then, if the problem persists, use method 3.

    Method 3:
    Please use the suggestions provided in this article and the Coachman.
    Reference:
    A long delay occurs when you print a large file on a Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7 computer
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/983401

    I hope this information helps.

    Please let us know if you need more help.

  • How to close the PrintDocument printing dialog box after pressing on it's Cancel button

    I develop using Windows 7, VB.net 2010 and dotnet 4.0.  The application is an x 86 application of Windows Forms using the PrintDocument class for printing.  After the call to PrintDocument.Print, the application manages the PrintDocument events and a print dialog box is displayed that indicates the number of pages that have been printed.  The print dialog box also includes a Cancel button.  I noticed that when a print job is canceled by using the Cancel button in the print dialog box, the print dialog box does not close until the underlying application closes.  When the compiled application is running, the application must close before to close the print dialog box.  When the application is running in the Visual Studio debugger, Visual Studio must close before to close the print dialog box.  The print dialog box also throws an error "a StartDocPrinter call was not issued" when you press the Cancel button.  Once you press the Cancel button, printing of dialogue "pages" message changes to "Cancel printing".

    Dialog.Alert ("cannot send results, check the connection, please try again");

    Why do you need to access the OK button of the alert? Just do what you want to do after the display of the dialog box - the statement after Dialog.alert will be reached only after the user presses the OK button (in general). If you want to detect if the user rejected the dialogue this or any other way, create your own one, doModal on it and analyze the returned result:

    Dialog myWarning = new Dialog(Dialog.D_OK, "Unable to send results, check connection, please try again", Dialog.OK, Bitmap.getPredefinedBitmap(Bitmap.EXCLAMATION), 0L);
    if (myWarning.doModal() == Dialog.OK) {
      // OK button was pressed - do what you need here
      ...

  • Problem chart/getting updated when you press on the background thread notification dialog box

    I have a user who is graphical reports strange behviour after our request and only under the following condiitions alarms:

    1 sets of users clock back to trigger the alarm

    2 user locked the BB

    3. the user receives alarm 1 minute later

    4. the user unlocks the BB

    The strange behavior is that the background seems to resemble a back buffer bland with a rectangular hole where the notification dialog box should be.  The user clicks then the graphics and where the button should be back to normal.

    The question is not if the user does not lock the BB first - it's only under the condition of deadlock that the problem occurs.  The user statement also sometimes see a dialog "Please wait" when running our application after unlocking, but never when our application is stopped.

    Model is 8310 with 4.5 and approximately 3 MB of free space depending on the situation-> filefree.

    The dialog box is to be generated and added to the queue by a background thread using the following method:

        private void notifyUser(String msg) {
            UiEngine ui = Ui.getUiEngine();
            EncodedImage icon = Theme.getIcon(false, true);
            Bitmap bm = null;
            if (icon != null) {
                bm = icon.getBitmap();
            } else {
                bm = Bitmap.getPredefinedBitmap(Bitmap.EXCLAMATION);
            }
            synchronized (Application.getEventLock()) {
                Screen screen = new Dialog(Dialog.D_OK, msg, Dialog.OK, bm, Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLL);
                ui.pushGlobalScreen(screen, 1, UiEngine.GLOBAL_SHOW_LOWER);
            }
        }

    I checked the problem does not occur on the "BOLD", Pearl Flip, or 8100 with real hardware.  The problem never happens in simulators (tried about 6 models).

    Any thoughts?  Is there something wrong with the code above or spark a dialogue for a non-event like this thread?

    Thanks in advance...

    The workaround for the "locked" State is to implement MemoryCleanerListener in your main application class. This listener is notified when the device is locked. We define a property here "deviceWasLocked", then query this property of our custom popup dialog to determine if we arrive on a locked screen.

    Then we switch our application in the foreground (requestForeground) that clears up this particular issue, and any event goes well.

    The problem of 'missed calls' is a little more complicated, unfortunately, but you're not complaining that one!

    Having said all this, I'd love to see other ideas on how to solve this problem. We strugggled for several weeks with this problem when the 4.3 is released.

    If you want to change the color of your borders of window or the taskbar, do a right-click on the desktop, go to customize. Choose a custom color and then choose your color, use the color mixer to get the tint and brightness you want.
