  However, to get to know the real cause of the problem can you give us the application log generated in the event viewer.

  a. go to the home screen. Type in the event viewer.

  (b) this will bring up the box of event viewer. Click to open event viewer.

  (c) in the left pane, expand Windowslogs.

  d. click the application log. Select the first event in the log, and then use the arrow keys to scroll down. Most of your event will be information. You can see red yellow warnings or errors. If you see a red error, you can double-click on it to bring it and copy the contents into a document.

• Daw was working but now won't

  I have a hp elite, with a mixer, alesis io26, reason and cubase, that everything worked perfectly. the only problem was Windows media player work so I had so I had ay cds in cubase, could not play movies or burn CD/DVDs. one thing I have confused for me are within reason and you configure your audio preferences of cubase, but, in windows media player it seems to have no way to configure my blender. so, recently, I've updated my computer that I have never done, and messed with the settings sound a little trying to get media to work, which has been unsuccessful player. now I open reason as often it appears a bit slow. then I try to load the song and it freezes and says its engine didn't check sound card or installation (cubase does the same thing). I reinstalled the reason did not. I checked the sound card in the program and it has a green check mark next to it, theres a red x if it does not work. I then reinstalled reason on my old COMP to make sure that the disc has not been damaged, and it worked. Then, I saved all my songs on an external hard drive and plugged into the COMP. old and it all works. I looked for a solution for hours with no progress. any help would be greatly appreciated.   the problem is resolved. I just needed to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the alesis io26. only problem that remains is the media player window does not work always and never. I don't know what the problem is. I thought I was because I am using recording studio speakers wired through the instead of computer speakers alesis io26. and there is no way to configure routing audio windows media. • SL500, Windows 7: Problems with the interface audio external Firewire and Digitus USB KVM switch

  I have an audio interface, Presonus Firestudio Project, which connects via Firewire to my Lenovo SL500. On the Sl500 is Windows 7 x 86 installed. I have also 2 rudders (Akai APC20 and M-Audio UC33e), 1 Midi Interface and a kvm switch connected via USB.

  Almost everytime I make music with Cubase or Ableton Live I get holes in my audio stream. Audio playback stops just freezes for 1-10 seconds and the surface of my DAW. This becomes especially annoying when I record.

  Recently, I have disabled all devices in the BIOS except for Firewire and USB, but I am always running into the same problem. Then I got a look at the system information for Windows 7 and the saw - problems/sharing section - USB and Firewire to share the same IRQ. I'm almost certain that this is the problem causing the audio gaps.

  Is there a way to chanmge in Lenovo Sl500 BIOS IRQ settings?

  After Plug and install a USB audio interface that I borrowed from a friend, I noticed that whenever I changed my KVM switch to the surface of the other PC Ableton froze for a second. The audio stream on the other hand kept and just as it was supposed to.

  The KVM switch is a "Digitus Pocket 2-port USB KVM switch" model No. "DS-11402-1".» This KVM switch seem to be a kind of diffusion in the USB bus which then interrupts the audio stream running on Firewire.

  Good people. I think that I have at the bottom of the problem.

  The problem lies in how the implementation of Windows7 64-bit (or the NETWORK interface driver) communicates with the hardware firewall for high speed downloads. Keep in mind, on exactly the same wired connection it is not issue on a Windows XP computer to exactly the same downloads. Also, this is a recent problem and is related to the transition from slow (3.5 Mo) to broadband high-speed fiber (40 MB).

  I trashed the environment and rebuilt Windows7, replaced the NETWORK adapter and drivers and carried out all tests on this implementation all to no effect.

  Hardware firewall has been updated with a new ROM and the problem disappeared.

  If although Windows XP can face high speed internet connections, it would seem that Windows7 does not make this a good fist of it.

  Thank you God for third party providers pick up the pieces.

  This means that you need a 64-bit driver, the 32-bit drivers do not work with Windows 7 64 bit. Visit the Web site of manufacturers for a 64-bit Windows 7 driver or a minimum Windows Vista 64-bit driver.

  Seriously, if you have problems both with 64-bit Windows 7, it is recommended that you return to 32-bit Windows 7. It is better to have a system that works. Windows 7 64 bit comes in hand if you have 4 GB or more RAM installed.

  1 have had any changes made to the computer before the show?

  I suggest you to set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

  By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

  This is not a mechanism supported by Apple to change the size of the Windows partition. Apple supports the remove/reinstall only.

• Bootcamp Windows - partition cannot be mounted

  Hey all,.

  I've been using Windows on my iMac (late 2012, Yosemite 10.10.5) without problem but today after I started MacOS Yosemite (to control simple file), cannot start again to return to Windows. Had no problem Bootcamp before... have not used to any advantage either 3rd disk utility. The only thing I have recently increased the Windows size 200 GB partition by decreasing the MacOS partition through disk utility (a month ago, no problem since then until today)

  1. Windows has disappeared from the startup disk

  

  2. disk utility shows disk0s4 gray and cannot be mounted. In addition, the correct partition size was 700 but here its listed as 500 GB GB (which was the old size before you increase it)

  

  3 when I try to restart with pressed ALT, Windows, but cannot restart, with a black screen showing "a disk error occurred.

  

  I'm not very familiar with techniques more. Only, I tried to install "Find" but cannot achieve anything with it.
