• How to get the fiscal year previous last day?

  I created a line of dashboard with a column of the calendar date. Duty of the user is to display the previous year sales last day i.e. 31 March of the year for the date played.

  How is it achievable? Please answer anyone who implemented logic.

  Is there a way to query users for the year and the quarter that will then filter the creation Date in the historic opportunity or sales milestone?

  You can convert a value of year or quarter according to a formula of column Date created:

  YEAR (possibility." Created Date')
  Quarter_of_year (possibility." Created Date')

  You can then create guests from filter on these columns. Note that this is calendar year, not fiscal year. If you calendar and fiscal quarters differ, you may need to perform a few additional calculations to convert - or just make sure your guests are labeled accurately as "calendar year".

  If you use real-time reporting, there is a dimension "Opening Date" which includes fields of exercise pre-calculated.

  In the last three days, the exercise tracker keeps track of every move as exercise, then the intermediate ring is enveloping like 4 times.

  Here's the story so far,

  Friday 30/67

  Saturday 574/30

  Sunday 317/30 (it is currently 14:10)

  Looking at the history, this seems start Friday night just after I loaded the watch.  Since then, the historic bar of the year counts on each tick on the time axis as exercise minutes.

  I tried to restart the watch and the iPhone and found the solution.  Also, I've updated the watch Saturday night at 2.1 (S 13, 661).

  Any ideas of the community?  Thank you.

  I * think * it determines exercise based on heart rate (unless you use the application of the training session to initiate a manual exercise).  You might get messages about excessive heart rate and make sure that the watch is comfortably close to the wrist, or loose, or tight.

  Just a couple of thoughts, hope they help or suggest something to another poster.

• How hyperion planning handles April to March fiscal year

  My month of application startup is April and end of the month March. I have a scenarios in 3:
  1A approved Budget (FY09/FY10) (since April to dec Jan Mar in FY10 and FY09)
  2. Project Budget (FY10/FY11)
  3. project approved (FY09/FY11) Vs (to find the variance)
  
  I entered data in the approved budget and the draft budget, I can't see the difference between the 2. When I see the change to the year FY09 it shows only the data of the approved budget. When I see the variance in FY10 it shows only the data in the proposed Budget. Is it because that the years are different... So how hyperion planning handles April to March years?
  
  Also when I entered data in the form of draft budget should I enter April to dec data in Jan Mar in FY10 and FY09... please explaing this concept...

  I think you mix data planning planning reports forms.

  To answer your question, the system can manage exercises (something else that from January to December)

  We currently have Oct to Sept. 1 and in our facility, we have

  Estimated current (October to September)
  Final (October to September)

  If I want to compare the difference between the current estimate and Final budget versions I create a report on the financial report and holding out both versions.

  In your case, you have created a third scenario current estimate / Final. It's just another store data or data containers. Unless you fill out the current/Final estimate with data it will not show.

  If you don't want to make a report, you can create a Calc Script for both versions (approved and proposed) and then store the difference in approved/proposed

  You will then see the values.

  I think you're hooked on exercise and is not the problem.

  While creating an Essbase application, how to set the beginning of the year and the end? My default application seems to April to March. But I need from July to June. Any idea?

  I have a dimension of years who holds the years. And period dimension has half of the year, quarter, and month, from July. It is an application of Essbase BSO.

  If it's an application pure essbase (not used in planning) you can adjust/recreate the members in the dimension period in order what ever is required.

  You don't need the double table much in PL/SQL.

  Another thing that makes PL/SQL, SQL different programming, it's that, in SQL, you can assign an alias for a column, but you can only refer to this alias in a Super application (or in an ORDER BY clause). In PL/SQL, you can reference a variable once it is set.

  In PL/SQL, once you have a DATE deadline in t, you can set the 4 variables like this:

  v_currqtd_strt := TRUNC (t, 'Q');
  v_currqtd_end  := ADD_MONTHS (v_currqtd_start, 3) - 1;
  v_prvqtd_strt  := ADD_MONTHS (v_currqtd_start, -3);

  Use SELECT... IN PL/SQL when the data in a table, and you must copy these data in variables. (It seemed that you forgot the INTO clause in your last post).
  However, in this case, no data in a table you need to copy, it is not necessary for a SELECT statement.

  What I want to do is query the table in testdata, sum the value filed and stopped by the quarter field. The problem is that the quarter field is stored in a varchar2 and I can't seem to find a to_date model that works for me. For example:

• Cash Flow Cash Flow MTD vs CDA

  I'm developing rules of cash flow, I have a very important question. All my accounts in the hierarchy of the cash flows are of the type 'Recipes' or 'Fees', so that when the view is of type "CDA", it will give me the desired result.

  I chose to keep my two accounts 'Cash_Beginning' and 'Cash_End' as the type of assets, so that they are not affected to see reason. Now the problem is when the customer selects is "CDA" or "Periodicals", "Cash_Beginning" displays only a year earlier December closure Fund.

  But the customer wants to see Cash from December of the previous year as 'Cash_Beginning', if the view is for a YEAR and cash to closing of the previous period as "Cash_Beginning", so the display is "periodic". Now, as much as I know an account cannot store two values at the same time.

  You will need three accounts for this:

  (1) an active account called CashBeginningBalanceYTD, whose rule is out. EXP ' a = A #CashBeginningBalanceYTD #Cash.P #Last.Y #Prior.

  (2) an active account called CashBeginningBalanceMTD, whose rule is out. EXP ' a = A #CashBeginningBalanceMTD #Cash.P #Prior.

  (3) a dynamic account called CashBeginningBalance, whose two rules are:

  HS. Dynamic "was #CashBeginningBalance.W #YTD = a #CashBeginningBalanceYTD."

  HS. Dynamic "was #CashBeginningBalance.W #Periodic = a #CashBeginningBalanceMTD."

  Use the account dynamics in your reports. As long as your cash accounts are all set to type of income, you can get the correct amounts of periodical, QTD or CDA. Of course, your balance is simply cash at the end of the current fiscal year.

  Dynamic accounts are the only ones who can have a different calculation for each view. Only the dimensions of account and view are valid on the left side of the HS. Dynamics.

  -'store' performance period work with exercises
  
  -for an hour cover every month and cannot create weekly exercises. Error message States 'fiscal year timescale overlaps with an existing financial period. The exercise has been added not. »
  
  What is the solution? How can I create these fiscal or any other way to store the actual data?

  I just confirmed is not yet possible in the latest P6r82.

  Although not quite another possibility may be to create monthly financial periods in the current fiscal year and all the weeks in a previous year (ie: 1980).

• Be able to select one field at a time

  I have a field of text called p53_fiscal_yr (for the year) and a list of named p53_year (for calendar year) selection. When the page load default p53_fiscal_yr, the current fiscal year and p53_year is 'None '. (This only happens when the page is loaded). When I find myself selecting the calendar year, I want the exercise to be empty. And then when p53_year is back to 'None', then I want to be able to put any year in p53_fiscal_yr. I hope this makes sense.

  On the Page load-
  FY = 2009, YEAR = None
  
  
  On the processing Page.
  When a YEAR is selected:

  OK - so that you will be able to check the values in lists, you will have to do two normal components of 'Select list' lists, but we can manage the shipment using javascript, which shouldn't be a problem.

  In footer region region, add in the following:

  On the question of P53_FISCAL_YEAR, in the Form HTML element attributes, add in:

  On both lists, I assumed that 0 (zero) is the return value for NULL values. I tried this using null %, but he was not happy!

  Javascript submitYear() checks the value of the P53_FISCAL_YEAR element. If it is not zero, then it sets P53_YEAR to zero and submits the page. It also submits the page if P53_FISCAL_YEAR is not zero, but is P53_YEAR. I did not the same with the fiscalYear() javascript, but that can be done so that the user can submit each item page.
