Curve adjustment not linear function

Hello everyone:

I'm a little new here and at the same time a new learner for labview. My need for laboratory to adjust the data which are not linear, so, I choose to use the model non-linear curve VI. But when I run the VI, the error is that:NI_Gmath.lvlib:LM formula function.vi:7290001 string, or other displayments of the error. I tried several times, but unfortunately didn't. The problem may be the expression of the function form. Moreover, the design of the VI is not mine, it's Forum OR. Any constructive suggestions will be welcome.

The form:

y = Y0 + (Nr * cos (A)) + *(x-W1)/((x-W1) a1 ^ 2 + L1 ^ 2) + a2 *(x-W2)/((x-W2) ^ 2 + L2 ^ 2)

In fact, the form is very long, I just write some.

I need help, try to fit a set of data that require the use of a non-linear curve.  I have attached a txt file that contains the data that must be mounted.  The first line contains the values of the x axis, while the second line contains the values of the y-axis.  The model of this set of data can be described by a single parameter, has, for the first five data points.  The rest of the data points can be described by the model of A + A1 * exp ((0.4-x)/A2), where A, A1 and A2 are all the parameter.  As you can see both models share the A setting.

    I determined the initial values for each of the parameters: A = 176,32, 2133.4133 = A1 and A2 = 1.4936.

The last, I spent two days trying to understand how to use the non-linear curve of Lev - Mar good vi but have had little success.  I did programming LabVIEW for many years and I've never felt as lost, as I now try to understand how the curve nonlinear Lev - Mar is vi works.  Any help you can provide my editing data would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    -Alonzo

I think the problem is that the first 5 points are not part of the data sent to Lev - Mar.  For this reason the process adjustment very well suited to the remaining data, but the term constant is able to move freely.  I modified the model function to output A to the first 5 terms and full for the rest.  The found offset is now more reasonable.

In addition, your quote your model to A + A1 * exp ((0.4-x)/A2), but which is implemented in the VI model seems to be A + A1 * exp ((x-0.4)/A2).

  • curve adjustment function does not work

    Hi all

I am trying to bend fitting, a graphic. but the curve adjustment function does not work. I get no output curve.

    which suggests to me u.

    Thank you

You have been asked to view the code. We cannot solve the photos.

Matrices X and Y are same length? Is a NaN value? What the output error say you?

(Also note that in this case, it would be convenient if we don't need to wire x take a look at this idea!)

This discussion is useless until you attach a real VI and data, so please.

  • Introduction to the tutorial of curve fitting - find a function

I'm new to programming in Labview (and programming in general) and so I'm learning the different functions in Labview that are likely to be relevant to the work that I do.  One of the functions I'll take advantage in Labview is the curve of the functions.  To this end, I found a number of tutorials that are available in the area of the developer, and the plan is to work my way through some tutorials apply in order to understand the processes involved (and how to use features etc.).

The tutorial that I am currently working my way through is the Introduction to the tutorial Curve Fitting, and is where I am currently blocked.  To work through the linear curve of squares vi, as shown in Figure 3 of the tutorial, I can't seem to find the function that the linear data vi and the vi curve are interconnected and which connects to the curve of the linear model.  When I say that I can't find the function I want to say that I can't find the feature with the Schwaar icon in the Labview version that I use currently (it is the Labview 8.6 development system).  Can I get help with the function I need to use?

I note, however, that the tutorial was written in 2006.  Would be - why I'm unable to find the function indicated (that is to say, he has changed since this tutorial was written)? If this is the reason why, anyone knows what is now the correct function?

The tutorial can be found here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7669.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hey Scottum,

This is the function table to build in the range of table in respect of the programming.

If you hover over it in top and bottom of the function, you should see two small squares.  Mouse over the squares and your mouse turns into a vertical head double arrow.  You can drag the mouse in the vertical direction to expand the service to include more inputs.

    Hope this helps,

    The curve in LabVIEW exponentaial model is y = a * exp(b*x).
Is it possible curve to adapt a model y = a - a * exp(b*-x). An example of this model
is the voltage of the capacitor in an RC circuit, when a voltage is applied.

    Thanks for the help!

Yes, just use the generic non-linear curve adjustment and write your own template.

  • Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, the curves that I need to enlarge the graphic part, so I could show on a screen at the school. Thanks, Phil

Hi I need to know how to expand the curves adjustment Panel. For example, I need to enlarge the graphic part so that I can view on a screen at the school and work from this Panel to expand. Thanks, Phil

You can not. At least, not directly Ben Photoshop. For example, this can be done in Gimp and Photoline, and I had hoped that developers of Photoshop team would have done this allowance now. But no, we're still stuck with a tiny curved panel, which is a real shame, because in other applications, the user can be more precise with the curves.

If you don't need to show close-ups during class time, use Zoomit in Windows, or turn on the Magnifier in the accessibility on a Mac option.

  • In Lightroom tone curve adjustment tool responds very slowly.

When I use the tone curve adjustment tool in Lightroom, the curve follow my Wacom pen. It's the response is slow, not smooth and most of the time if prefer to move to the left instead of to the top. This problem makes it very difficult to make small adjustments. I tried to use a mouse and I still have the same problem. Another person had the same problem and solved? Can Adobe, you help me?

    Thank you

Try the Wacom tablet preference file utility. First, click on "Backup" and save the file in a folder or office location.  Then click on 'Remove', which restores the default settings. If it does not improve the behavior of Tablet use the "Restore" button and select the file to backup with your previous settings.

  • Pipette in the curve adjustment dialog box average pixels, so the color balance is watered.

    Hi all.

When you use the pipette to set the points black and white pixels of an image in the dialog box curve setting, I found that it seems not middle of the neighbouring pixels or provide a way to select a value "monochrome".  Thus, the color balance is still impaired and is thrown way if you happen to choose a noisy pixel (for example).

I expect that there is an option to set the size of the sampling for the pipette area, but I don't see one.  I have considered making the monochrome image, defining curves, save them as a preset, and then reload the image color and apply the preset (if she does not leave me); but this seems heavy and hokey.  What is the usual procedure to adjust the tone curve of the image without changing its color balance?

    Thanks for any idea.

When you select an eyedropper in the curves adjustment dialog box, you went to the eyedropper tool.

You then set the sample in the Options bar.

In the curves adjustment layer, any pipette also has sample settings in the Options bar.

  • Change of the pipette in the curves adjustment layer

In versions previous of the PS when you opened a curves adjustment layer, hovered over the image, the cursor was a dropper, and when you pressed the mouse button a point appears on the curve showing the wherever the task on the image fell on the curve.  I used a lot.

In CS4 that the pipette has been replaced by the line of sight (plus sign?), and when you click on a location in the image, nothing happens.   How to bring back the former function?

Always available, but with different commands.  Here is a link that describes in detail.

PlacesUtils.nodeIsLivemarkContainer has been removed since Firefox a long time ago. You must use an extension that is trying to access and the extension must be updated.

You can open the Add-ons Manager to check updates, disable, or remove extensions.

  • typeError: L is not a function appears when I try to select an email to open

whenever I try to open an email, or click one in the list I get typeError: L is not a function message. I tried the mouse and the mouse pad on my laptop and get the same result. It happens when I left-click with the mouse or the mouse pad.

This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

If it works in Firefox Safe mode and then disable all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and then try to find out who is causing by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change through "file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave";) Linux: "file > exit ')
