Custody of HotSync closing, help

When I got a new computer at work, (operating system XP w / Outlook 2007, Tungsten E2) I downloaded the latest version of the Palm desktop program and the outlook conduits. I did the normal installation. As it has been installed, the Hotsync Manager popped up with this message:

HotSync® Manager Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I tried to debug, look at the message for a clue and he kept just close. After you have finished the installation, it just does not maintain close everytime I try to open it, so no synchronization until I get this worked out. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I did the 'chat' support Palm and followed their instructions (to do the same thing that I've tried). They finally advised me to call and speak with someone ($14.95 for fun) - what someone knows what is happening or give me different advice?

I just solved the same problem.  That someone forgot to mention, is that there is also a Palm under My Documents folder.  If you delete that too, and then try again, your problems should be solved.  I wish I had known this before that I spent hours and hours trying the steps above.

    The first thing you should do when a part receiving device is Hard Reset to turn the unit to the factory settings and erase all their information. When the device's HotSync ' ed, a hotysnch user name is applied to the device. If you do not use the same username in Palm Desktop, when you synchronize, it won't recognize the user name and cause problems HotSync ' ing.

  • Difficulties to show captions closed-HELP!

    I'm almost ready to pull my hair! I use Captivate 4 and I went to every place I know of to enable CC and I still don't see the captioning when I publish the presentation.

    I have note of slides that I converted to T2S. I also checked CC next to the checkbox text to speech in the section notes on slide.

    I went to the Audio management and update of the CCS it.

    I went into the preferences of project and allow accessibility is verified.

    I went to the editor of skin and checked the captioning.

    I saved everything and I saw the presentation published on 2 different computers.

    Still nothing! What I'm missing! ???

    CC does not open automatically, the user should click on the CC button on the playback bar.

    You can do open automatically if you set the variable cpCmndCC of system with 1 at the entrance to the first slide. It's one of system variables that does not exist in the drop-down list for stocks when entering a slide in CP4 you can do by a simple action to assign to the entry of the first slide.     I develop a form with several paintings as A, B, C and D

    I am able to navigate to the canvases with success during execution by having some go_item code

    B >-> C-> D

    I don't want to come back like that

    my need is if I just close the canvas B, C, and D during the execution, the control must be to navigate A Web site and the shape will not be closed

    My problem is

    If I close all canvas during execution of the entire form is closed

    Hello!

    Today, I got a problem on my laptop: I start the game computer and at one point, the entire screen was covered with blue dots of random semi and, in a few seconds, the computer crashes upward.

    Off in now power button and then turning it on again, I realized the artifacts were on the initial screen of the dell too. When the screen below (with a text on this subject), objects have disappeared, but rather some characters ASCII took, filling the screen with some nonsence.

    I started in reset by pressing F12 Dell diagnostic module, but in the middle of initial memory of the tests all artifacts were gone. I started the video memory test and it fails for as many times (after chess that I forcing me to continue) with the same type of error (expected value XXXX and obtaining AAAA value in some speech ZZZZ).

    Then I leave the diagnostic utility and run Windows XP without any problem. I run the video memory Stress Test

    and you see almost the same result - dozens of error messages from different addresses.

    After turning on an another computer game, I got the same symptoms in a few minutes. After force restart computer has shown me the blue screen (there are still artifacts on each start screen), but a minute to keep them closed helped - without artifacts and normal WinXP start.

    Despite the facts, speaking on behalf of problems with the video, I don't think it's for lack of video card:
    -too many video memory no systematic failures
    -heavy no problems before running applications

    What are your suggestions? Can it be caused by problems with the drivers or something like that? I had 167.51 pilot "Test Dell limited", but after the failure changed the 101,19 (R158348. (EXE).

  • A Web site has captured Firefox my husband; It can not be closed except by restarting the PC. Subsequent restart Firefox going to the same place. Help!

    The site claims to be a Fox News survey. The full URL exceeds the URL window. The site contains Firefox - it cannot be closed, and no command of Firefox does. The Firefox window can not be killed by the Task Manager. I can't erase the cache or history of Firefox because it is already possessed by the demon. (Note: my husband is blind, and his screen reader - JAWS - can not handle this bizarre behavior, so I'm involved.) He has no idea how he came in first in this situation.) Note: It is currently running Windows 7 (64-bit), and I think that the latest version of Firefox - it updates automatically. My next idea is to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. That will kill the cache? (a little) bookmarks? (bad!)

    Delete the sessionstore.js file possible sessionstore-# .js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.

    Note that deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and tab groups and open and closed (back) tablets to get lost, so you have to create them again.

    You can set the integer pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the subject: config page in order to get the about: sessionrestore page immediately with the first reboot after a failure has occurred or the Task Manager was used for the closing of Firefox.

    This way to see if a series of sessions has crashed or otherwise did not close correctly and deselects the tabs that you do not want to reopen, but will reopen the other tabs.

    Firefox closes, then it will open with Firefox comes from base. Now follow these steps:

    Update Firefox to the latest version by going to the Help Menu-> about Firefox-> click on Check for Updates -> if an updated version is then download the latest version and install it. After that, follow these steps:

    -> go to Menu view-> toolbars-> deselection adverse of all toolbars

    -> click on the favorite on the search bar icon-> click Manage search engines -> select all unwanted search engines and click delete -> click OK

    -> go to the Tools Menu-> Modules-> Extensions-> section REMOVE all unwanted/Suspicious Extensions (Add-ons)-> restart Firefox

    You can activate your known & modules trustworthy thereafter. Check and tell if its working.

  • HELP PLEASE! My operating system is xp, SP3. I have a half finished email to complete & send, but I can't re - open my Outlook. I get a message that a "DIALOG" box is open & must first be closed and "BEEP"

    Please see title above.  This computer is really crazy.   Unable to open my Outlook.  Said dialog boxes open and must be closed before I open Outlook, but I can not find something open.  I even tried restarting the comptr.  PLEASE HELP ASAP!  Thank you.

    This dialog box means there is an open window (somewhere maybe under your enlarged window) which must be closed before you can reopen outlook.

    If there is no visible window I open the Task Manager and check there.  If there is not, you may lose any changes and restart to clear the error.

Moreover, when I close the window of Data Execution Prevention error message, I have my bottom, no other other icons for one of my programs are on the screen. Help... This can be corrected?

    If you started having 'Magical' Antivirus programs to appear on your system that you do not install, then you are infected.  Some people may be painful to remove, to others not so much.  I recommend http://www.malwarebytes.org/ for malware protection and http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ for antivirus.

    But now you're in a bit of a place.  I download Malware Bytes and put it on a USB key.  Then see if you can boot in safe mode and run MalwareBytes.  If you're not in safe mode, take a look at this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318027

    It seems that you get an error about the NVIDIA Driver on your laptop.

    Please provide me with the following details.

    (1) where do you get this error?
    (2) have been any changes made to your computer before this problem?

    Look for the display driver error indicator in Device Manager.

    Follow the steps in the link here to open Device Manager. Expand the display driver and verify for the brand of the error. (! Sign or? Check this option).

    After that I had posted this thread and tried a few things I gave up thinking, it was hopeless. I was watching t.v when I herd a beep come from my comp. and of course, it was a 212 of the callendar. Although it would not allow me to keep it all locked up on bottom bar when it was closed it warn me of my events. so I thank you for your help and I hope that if not an elce had a problem with that I suggest to make an event for 5 minutes, 15 minutes ahead of time now close the program and c if it restarts and notifys you.i know y he didn t tho b4 and wish I could give a better explanation how I gogt it to begin work. but again, I am grateful for aid n have a nice day.
