  It's Windows 7 Windows Update performs its task.  It's an unusually long period.  This happens sometimes.  Although it clearly states "do not turn off your computer", it is exactly what you have to do.  Press and hold the button until the computer is silent.  Then restart.  99% of the time, the system recovers itself.  You will see some things on the screen that you don't normally see.  If you are asked, you want a Normal startup.

  You cannot edit videos or by e-mail with media player. You can use movie maker (search for "movie maker" in the start menu) to edit and send an email that you would normally send an attatchment.

  There is a program that comes with the printer called the IJ Scan Utility that can help you with scanning multiple pages in a single PDF document.  To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. on your keyboard, press the Windows key.

  2 start typing IJ SCAN UTILITY. The search window opens while you type. Once the UTILITY SCAN IJ is displayed, select and open it.

  3. in the Scan from Canon IJ utility window that opens, click SETTINGS... at the bottom right of the window. The settings dialog box is displayed.

  4. click on the SCAN of DOCUMENT option in the left pane of the window.

  5. in the SAVE the SETTINGS in the window section, you select the recording format and the location of the document you are about to analysis.

  (a.) in the FILE NAME field, specify the name you want to give the file. By default, the file name will begin with IMG; You can remove IMG and change it to anything you want to name the file.

  b.) b.) in the field of DATA FORMAT, use the arrow menu drop-down to select PDF (Multiple Pages).

  (c.) in the field RECORD in, please go to the area where you want the file to be saved once it is scanned in. By default, the file will be saved in the MY DOCUMENTS folder.

  6. once all settings have been selected, click on the OK button at the bottom of the window to save the changes. The IJ Scan Utility main screen is displayed.

  I have to reinstall windows and reformat windows. IM locked out of my Start menu, I could not access the account from the control panel in the month and there are way to many restrictions on my computer... Can someone tell me how to reinstall windows vista home premium on my computer? I don't have the original cd or any cd. But my product is registered, I had this OS for about 3 or 4 years. Can someone help me please?

  How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

  Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

  You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

  They will tell you how to do this.

  Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

  pfffh... just remove a program I used to install a custom Windows theme 7... After you have uninstalled it asked me if I wanted to restart now or more later?   So, how I corrected? instead of type F8 I hit F12 and chose something about running a CD... Don't forget to have your disc 1 in the computer... it must then run the new CD then I chose the TOP option and it works like a charm now. I hope this helps other people with this problem acer!

• Lightroom 6 fails to start in the window of 10.  Help, please.

  I have a computer Dell XPS 13: 10 window.  Buy Lightroom 6 standalone (perpetual) in March 2016.  It works fine until yesterday.  The opening, the home page with photo trees shows but failed to launch the program.  A small blue circle is always running.  Mouse left or right click Activate a message from "Adobe photoshop Lightroom not responding" and only turn off.  Restart the computer by turning market or restarting does not solve the problem.
