Custom border

There is an option to define the border of a DisplayObject to a certain color. Is it possible to use an image for the border? A custom border?

You can customize yourself.  If you use the QNX UIComponent class, you just need to overrride the protected draw() method is called automatically whenever the component is resized.

    Your best bet is NOT to mud around with your publish first of all of the models.  Try edting a file HTM already posted to get the result you want, and then ONLY once you know that you have a solution, change your publish models.

    They are located at: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5\Templates\Publish

    In order to pull this off you (or someone you know) will have a knowledge of HTML and CSS programming.

  • DeskJet 6988: prints without custom border deskjet 6988

    I want to make a card (5 x 7) which means I have to print 10 x 7. I tried to do a custom size by clicking on "without borders"but I still have the white border.» The option without borders works with no custom sizes?

    Hi @mhm45,

    Can I have found some information about you on your Deskjet 6988 borderless printing options.

    Please NOTE: With all models, print custom page sizes are n ot guaranteed from Windows, it usually ends up being a limitation of the operating system presets. All these settings are error.

    I think you're right, it should use an option without border defined by the operating system - but you can review the information provided in the user guide for printing without margins to see if you missed something. PG 59-61.

    This information has been in the User Guide for the Deskjet 6988;

    Print borderless photos

    Use printing without margins to print to the edges of some types of paper and printing on a variety of paper-paper photo sizes 3 x 5 inches to a custom photo size 210 x 594 mm (8.5 "x 23.4").

    Guidelines

    ● For high quality results, use a print cartridge photo in combination with the print cartridge three colors.

    ● do not print photos without a border in ink-backup mode. Always have two ink cartridges installed in the printer.

    ● Open the file in a program such as Adobe Photoshop or HP Photosmart software and affect the size of the photo. Make sure that the size matches that of the paper on which you want to print the photo.

    ● If you have installed the HP Photosmart software, you can use it to assemble panoramic digital photos before printing.

    ● For maximum strength, use HP Premium Photo paper.

    ● Check that the photo paper you are using is flat. For more information about the prevention of photo paper to curl, see photo paper storage instructions.

    ● Do not exceed the capacity of the tray in: 25 sheets of photo paper.

    Prepare to print

    To print a single small photo, use the photo/envelope feeder.

    To print several photos or more, follow these steps:

    1. check that the printer is turned on.

    2. for small photos, remove the output tray. For large photos, lift the sliding top. Remove all paper from the tray in. 3. drag the width of the paper all the way to the left guide and then pull out the paper length guide.

    4. check that the photo paper is flat.

    5. place the photo paper in the tray, with the side to be printed on the bottom. If you use paper photo with a detachable tab, check that the tab is so opposite of the printer.

    6. slide the paper guides against the paper.

    Note: Some formats of panoramic paper may extend beyond the edge of the In tray.

    7. for small photos, replace the output tray. For large photos, lower the output tray.

    Print

    Note: If the software includes a photo printing feature, follow the instructions that are provided with the software. Otherwise, follow these instructions.

    1. open the photo in an application that allows you to edit, such as the HP Photosmart or Adobe Photoshop software.

    2. open the printer properties dialog box.

    3. click on the shortcuts tab print Chapter 5 60 HP Deskjet 6980 series

    4. in what you want to do? drop-down list, click borderless Photo printing, and then select the following options:-print quality: normal or best. Note for maximum dpi quality, go to the paper/quality tab and then click Maximum dpi in the drop-down list print quality. -Paper Type: A picture appropriate paper type - size of paper: a paper size appropriate photo without margin - Orientation: Portrait or landscape

    5. set the HP Real Life technologies.

    6. click OK to print the photo. If you have printed on paper with a detachable tab, remove the tab to make the document completely without borders.

    Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

    I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • TextArea border

    Using WebWorks and BBUI.js, it was easy to include a text box with a light, around the border for the text boxes.

    Given that I spent in waterfalls, I have not found an easy way to do that is part of the framework. I guess I can use a text box that is not editable and look in the creation of a custom border of nine slices. Or y at - it an easier way?

    Here is an example.

    I am referring to the light, lap race around information groups such as around the elements of list of "Superman" and "Batman."

    Thank you!

    Fix. Containers are containers for general purposes for other widgets, and they take over the images or background colors. If you want both a slice for a border * and * a separate background image that you can not put in this image of nine slices for some reason, you will need a pair of nested containers to do, or you can have a container with the image of the border as the 'background' property and use an ImageView as one of the children for the real background. (Or vice versa, perhaps.)

  • Border of reference

    Hello

    The document that I created, I have a custom border footbote. Its basically a fancy line. I want to use this image as the border to separate my page of my notes. Unfortunately, indesign puts the small line to show the little break between the page and the notes and I can't figure out how to change it for the custom line that I drew. Previews to conquer this issue would be appreceiated.

    Thank you.

    You might be able to pretend, though, by putting the image into something anchored at the beginning of the note.

  • PDF Exaprom cell format problem

    Hi everyone, I am currently using Exaprom to generate a PDF report for some test equipment. The report should be formatted in a particular way (I have attached a picture of the format to this message). The table has a thick line that separates data from the units and channel names. I have accumulated my brain trying to find a way to produce the thick line and keep the other bording fine lines the cells, but I have not found a solution. My first thought was to merge the cell containing the units with another cell which contains the thick line but that produces an error in my VI and does not export the PDF file at all. If anyone has found a solution for this (if possible), then I could really use the help!

    Actually my suggestion does not work :-(

    Plan b: insert a blank column where you want the thick line separator and set the column width to the same value as the thickness of line. Didn't even need to use the custom border! The width of the resulting line will be twice more the other ones.

  • Event management and other issues

    The story is this:

    I am very new to the BlackBerry development. I spent hours and hours of reading both the native and documentation stunts and I'm still very confused on the eventual implementation of certain elements that I need.

    The project I have been working on that is to create a couple of picture frames and arrange them in a model (a possible model is a two by two matrix). Managers must be arranged in such a way that each of them is resizable by dragging a custom border (space) between two consecutive images.

    Each image needs to load an image from a dialog box that lists the images in the default directory for the images. The framework should be able to pan and zoom (on an event of pinch). This of course cannot be done using ImageView, because it does not implement zoom or pan. I'll probably have to use ForeignWindow in order to use weaker functions (level C) in order to put in place the tools to zoom and pan.

    However, the following questions:

    -How to manage the events of touchscreen and/or gestures? Obviously, a button has an onClicked in QML method, but I need to know when the screen was touched, and what control was affected, in order to implement a resizable layout.

    -How to manage the events of a ForeignWindow? The documentation does that say how to create, not how to handle its events. Regarding an application of Cascades don't use a while loop to enter events, I do not understand how to manage these events?

    -How to improve lower level access to the data of the Image? Or if it is not possible, how do I make a link between a QImage and use in ImageView Image?

    All this has a clear solution in the native SDK, but I do not see how to incorporate the native with waterfalls. Any help would be welcome.

    Hello, welcome to the forums!

    I'll try to point you in the right direction. In order to check the touch events, you can access the VisualNode signals by following the approach outlined on this thread:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Cascades-development/managing-Cascades-events/TD-p/1739999

    You can also have a look at our API of cascades of events here:

    Let me know if it helps!

  • Personalized rectangle shape with good PasswordeditField

    Hello

    I try to write custom passwordField, because I want to add some border arround the password field as normal textfield in the form rect.

    How utiliserdans the graphics.draw... ?

    If I use the graphics.drawText ()... appear normal letters in the passwordfield...?

    How to display the *...?

    Thanks in advance

    Alternatively, if you are extending from PasswordEditField, once you have modified the method object to draw your custom border, call super.paint () to make the draw PasswordEditField the text.

  • Problem with the image...

    Hello, I don't know anything about LiveCycyle but I have a colleague who made a PDF file on-line for our Department. She would like to have a custom border which is part of our brand strategy.

    I made a border in Illustrator and exported per share. It is important in LiveCycle but the corners in the look of the image, as they are pixelated.Corner.jpg

    I'm doing it in the wrong program? Is there a best file format I should try? Should I try to do in LiveCycle?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Well,.

    It is also possible, even if the user interface of the designer does not offer a way to do this.

    Here is a brief explanation.

    1. create a rectangle on the master page.

    2. set the border thickness and corner style and RADIUS in the object palette.

    3. the switch in the source XML > you will see the XML of the rectangle structure.

    4. Add the 3 corner elements more and edit them. A rectangle has 4 of them and Designer simplyfies only the source xml, if all 4 are the same.

    The order of the angle is to the left at the top left > top right > bottom right > lower left.

    To book a square corner just remove each attribute but the thickness.

    5. in the overview it should look like this now.

  • TextInput borderStyle in Flex 4

    In Flex 3, it worked but in Flex 4, the border is still displayed. Anyone know if it is a bug (and if so where should I declare it).

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "utf-8"? >
    " < = xmlns:mx mx:Application ' http://www.Adobe.com/2006/MXML ">

    < mx:TextInput borderStyle = "none" / >

    < / mx:Application >

    Thank you

    Obviously the wrong... I can now to repro your question.

    Initially I was testing with the halo theme, this is the reason why it worked.  borderStyle is honoured by the Halo theme, but not the theme of the spark.

    for example

    -Theme=${FlexLib}/themes/Halo/Halo.swc

    So if you see defaults.css for TextInput framework project styles now look like:

    TextInput
    {
    backgroundColor: #FFFFFF;
    backgroundDisabledColor: #DDDDDD;
    borderSkin: ClassReference ("mx.skins.spark.TextInputBorderSkin");
    paddingTop: 2;
    paddingLeft: 2;
    paddingRight: 2;
    }

    So I think you can do something like:

    or provide your own custom border skin.

    Kind regards

    Corey

  • Add a border to my custom skin.

    Hello.

    I'm developing an ActionScript 3.0 for PlayBook application.

    I want to add a black border on my custom skin, but I don't know how.

    It is a piece of my code:

                upSkin.graphics.endFill();
                upSkin.scale9Grid = gridRect;

    Hey,.

    just before:

    upSkin.graphics.beginFill(0xFF6600);

  • Customized with no. ButtonField or a transparent border

    I am trying to create a ButtonField custom that has no visible border.  I was able to do this very easily to 4.6 and upward with the api set, but my goal is 4.5.  I have a VerticalFieldManager with a background image and my custom button is really 6 buttons is straddling with images that have transparent backgrounds so the border really makes it look terrible.  I was able to clean by 6 images of the same size and their completely overlap so that the borders are all in the same place, but I was not able to get the border to disappear.

    Code of CustomButton:

    If you wish, it can help to remove the residents/theme applied.

  • How can I change something like the border style of a framing in Muse area by adding custom html/css code?

    I'm changing the border style of a marquee selection around my head. Given that Muse is not one tool online, or support of border styles other than solid (why? I have no idea).

    I know it can be done by adding custom html/css, but so far, I've only managed to put a border dotted around the entire page. Some explain how I can do this please?
    There is no information on the forums and youtube on this subject, and it drives me crazy.

    Hello

    Please try following steps to make it work for you.

    1. place the codes marked in page design mode and preview in the browser.

    2. right click on the selection rectangle in the Navigator and select "Inspect element" (Google Chrome)

    3. Once you do this, you will be able to see that well-known codes are placed in a div with an id as #u75. In this example, it is #u75.

    4. it is the identifier that will target you for CSS.

    5. If the CSS, you will need to add following

    6. you can do a right click on the framing box in design and select "Edit HTML" and put the code before the code of renowned as mentioned below

    7. click on show preview and you will get a dotted border.

  • Remove a border from a custom preset

    I created a custom preset in Lightroom. It has the same border in the preset, as seen in the photo below.

    I want to keep the preset I created, but I certainly don't want the white border on all my photos.

    How can I remove only the white border? I googled and can't find any option to remove the white border. I have some photos that I need to finish quickly, and this has put the brakes on everything. Help, please.
