Border of reference

Hello

The document that I created, I have a custom border footbote. Its basically a fancy line. I want to use this image as the border to separate my page of my notes. Unfortunately, indesign puts the small line to show the little break between the page and the notes and I can't figure out how to change it for the custom line that I drew. Previews to conquer this issue would be appreceiated.

Thank you.

You might be able to pretend, though, by putting the image into something anchored at the beginning of the note.

  • Zero length reference planes

    Hello world

I'm trying to simulate line custom by using AWR microwave Office.

I call on the structure of the MA design and adds her join the scheme.

(I have attached the design. Ports 2 and 4 are connected to the Earth).

But when I look, I get the error

'Zero length reference planes should not be used with housings equipped with an odd number of divisions'

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

It seems that you use EMSight.   You should really study the documentation on EMsight on the basic rules on until the space ports and the geometry of the side wall.  For EMsight, the border is a perfect playground.  If your forms are really that close to a metal box, this configuration is correct.  I don't think that this is the case and so you should be spacing your gemoetry and and the ports of at least 2 x the height of your substrate of flanks.

I don't know what version of the AWRDE you are using or what organization you are with, but you should consider using AXIEM instead of EMsight.  There is no flank or port issues as EMsight.    You can find a thread earlier in this message forum on the differences between EMsight and AXIEM.

In addition, our knowledge base has an EMsight Start Guide that will help you.  It is relatively short.

  • Threading and reuse of the node to call using reference of buffers (of the required adhesive tape)

I tried to get the following information in the public domain for years and now that I have the answers, I'll share with those who might be interested.

    Caveat!

Wrap your head in tape before reading just for the sake of security.

    My two questions were;

    (1) may LV re - use tampons of VI calling when you use VI serve call by reference?

    (2) is used when the use of call by reference UI thread?

1 when you call a VI using the call through the reference node, the data in the pane of the copied or is node connector - this online as it would be with a Subvi properly implemented?

Short answer: it's somewhere between the two.

    Long answer:

The compiler does not know what will be called VI, but there a hint:

the reference connected to the node of the call by reference. He uses to get the 'Prototype' for the call. Therefore, for optimal performance, use a prototype that has the same 'characteristics placeness' as it is called VI. That said, users don't know what are the "characteristics of the placeness.

Before getting into the details, I will say that the overhead of these copies should not matter much unless it's a large data structure (a table with lots of items.) or a cluster/class with many fields or containing large networks etc..

    Example 1:

If the prototype does not change the data, then the compiler assumes that the crux of the call by reference will not alter the data. However, at runtime, a check is made to see if the real called VI will modify the data. If Yes, then a copy is made and past so that the original data can be modified.

    Example 2:

If the prototype contains an entry that is wired through an exit so that both input and output terminals can use the same buffer memory, but running an audit determines that the real called entry and exit VI do not share a buffer, then a copy will be made from output of the actual call to the original screws (combined input and output) buffer.

I should also mention that, even with this behavior "are trying to get along with the prototype", it is not always possible to obtain good performance as a Subvi ordinary call. For example, if you have a situation where the prototype does not change the data and passes it through to an exit and then the compiler must assume that the data is changed (because, as in example 2, there are screws that may change even if the called real VI is not).

And there are a few caveats:

    (1) this behavior "using a prototype" was new for 2009. Before that, we used a method more naïve data of passage that took all the entries will be changed and no outputs don't share a buffer with an entry.

    (2) this behavior can be changed in future versions, if we find additional optimizations.

    (3) this behavior is the same that we use for the dynamic distribution live (when you use the classes in LV)

    (4) If you want to create a VI can be used as a prototype, you can use the features of the Structure in Place to control the "characteristics of the placeness', namely the element nodes in and out of the border, the function"Mark as modifier"border nodes (note the pencil icon on the item), and the node always one copy.

    (5) the prototype is only the first reference ever connected to the node of the call by reference. So if you make a new prototype VI, you can just make a reference out of it plug into the crux of the call by reference. I suggest to remove the node from the call by reference and file a new.

    (6) for remote calls, we still "making copies" by transmitting data over a network.

I hope that this helps, if you want information/clarification, so feel free to ask.

2 - is the call made by the reference to run in the user interface thread node? If the call is made by a remote machine via ethernet, thread that host (the computer that makes the call by reference) runs on and thread that executes the target (the machine that contains the file VI) on?

In the case of premises, the appeal made by the reference node does not require the user interface thread and may work in some thread the VI wants to run in.

When you call a remote VI, the appeal made by the reference node uses the UI thread (detailed below) on both the client and the server.

The client uses the UI thread to send the request to the server and there still when the response comes back. The user interface thread is not blocked during the time between the two.

The server receives the TCP message in the UI thread, and then starts the call to the UI thread. The server also uses the user interface thread to send the response to the client. The user interface thread is not blocked on the server during execution of the VI.

I hope that people find it when they need it!

  • Problem with creation of table of references notifier by using a loop

    Hi all

I am attaching two try_ChannelsOn2ndMonitor.vi screws out of the random values to four graphics and ChannelGraphsOnSecondMonitor2.vi receives these values through an array of references Notifier and refers to four corresponding graphics. Essentially, the graphics in the two screws are supposed to - and do - displays the same values.

As a first step, using a loop to create the table of references of the notifier, I was unable to get the four graphs in the sub - VI to produce the desired values. They showed only the values in Figure 4 in the main VI. I tried to use the indexing, and then I tried using Shift Registers associated with the function of 'Building the table', but none of these methods worked. Finally, the only method that worked was that you see in try_ChannelsOn2ndMonitor.vi, which was to create four reporters simultaneously and combine them using 'building the table '. My question is: why is it not possible to create the array of references notifier by using a loop and always get the correct functionality? I spent a few hours I wondered about this.

All of the comments related to my use of the notifiers, notifying bays or the reference of VI in the Structure of sequence are also appreciated. The structure of sequence is only there because the sub VI must be taken out of a second monitor; I essentially disabled it by setting the FP. State to 'Standard '.

    Thank you!

    Nemanja

The table is still the order of the references notifier - so that you know the correct order.

When you say "it will continue execution as soon as one of the notifications is received", do you know if it means he will send this notification for each registrant, or just for the appropriate warning system?

I'm waiting on multiple notification - if you expected to return (and continue to run) once it receives all notifications I don't think it's what he does based on my understanding of the documentation.

OK, now that I have had a good look, I probably slightly different framing the code - I propose the Subvi out of the while loop and then put a while loop around the code in the Sub - VI. Something like this:

That's what I wanted to say to have individual loops for the Subvi - terminal error is connected to the judgment for loops (and thus the VI) stop running when you release the notifier. That should remove the need for static VI reference as the VI remains before the end of your first level VI - then you can move your code of positioning inside the Subvi.

Using the sequence of structures here as you have done to make sure that the code block happens before your start of loop is very good, another common method is to wire the error out in (or at) the border of the loop - in a more complicated application, you would maybe put this code in a State 'init' of a state machine.

I was wondering how do you add border of ListView items?

Also, is it possible to change the background of the listview item to choose?

  • Set the reference point for several objects in the middle of the document

    Hello community,

I want to mirror a layout.

    I: Yes

    1. Select all objekts

    2. set the benchmark in the Middle

    3. objects in mirror

    BUT

The reference point is in the middle of all the OBJECTS. This led to several objects across the border into my document because the layout is not spread out on a regular basis.

I want through the DOCUMENT will be the point of reference. How can I do?

    Thank you

    Christian

Have you fiugured this out yourself?

I just played a little and found a method, but it is not really intuitive. Select the object, then go to the rotation tool. The center of rotation must be defined as one of the handles of transformation, but you can drag it anywhere you like, then move until you want as the center of your mirror. Hold down the Opt/Alt key and click on the button to create a mirrored copy. The objects original reflects their position around the reference repositioned without the modifier key.

Use the strokeColor property, as documented in the reference JavaScript: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.723.html

The code would be something like:

  • Animated border and Muse integration help!

OK, so I finally got the hang of border, but have now a problem that there solution may be simple but I can't find anything online.

I wanted to put in place the banners on my site of muse.

If away from what I've seen everything I want to do is animate on the edge then export and import the OAM in muse...

But what about after that? I previewd it on Muse and fin looked at him, then I downloaded FTP and the content was missing.

This suspect is the lively edge file must be uploaded to FTP to the server, and then it would show right? Or maybe the iFrame in place... Not sure that I tried to download the file but has no result.

Can someone please give me some advice? A tutorial or step by step for me and others with related questions to understand what files (if any) must be uploaded to the server, and where they should go.

Personal Adobe: I think these issues spelling should be on your list of tutorials to cover from the beginning. Maybe allow users to download tutorials, then the community vote on the correctness of each of them and being recognized as Adobe as a reference to Creidible.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me.

    Part Board Animate

    1. create the project Animate Edge

    2. When you are finished, click on the file > publishing settings (menu command) > Tick & select animate Deployment Package.  (Take note of the ' parameter of target directory - you will need to go here when you're in Muse) Then click on the button control save in the lower right.

    3. go to file > publish menu command to complete the publication process to a .oam package file.

The process above creates a .oam file that will be 'placed' in your Muse site.

Minimize the edge host and go to part B.

    Part B Muse

    1. create the Site with Pages.

    2. now place the edge .oam animate.

In the Plan tab, double-click the thumbnail of the page you want to place the file edge .oam animate.

    3. Once this page is open, go to file > Place. At the prompt, navigate to the package/publish/animated / folder (which was created from A.2) and select the package file .oam.

    4. click anywhere to 'drop' / place the charged reference .oam.

    5. now animate the Edge file is placed on a page, file > save your file in Project Muse website.

    6. now, you need save the project in html format. Go to file > export to Html format.

    7. at the prompt: enter the location of domain name you intend to download these project files; Set the location (in order to save the files) in a new folder (I named this file 'museTest') on your desktop. and then click OK.

Part B, you should now have a folder on your desktop with the muse .html files exported.

The exported file and the structure should look like this (outside my file named museTest):

    Desktop

    > museTest (root folder)

    > assets (subfolder of the root folder)

    > css (subfolder of the root folder)

    > scripts (subfolder of the root folder)

    index.html

    muse_manifest. XML

    Sitemap. XML

Now FTP the folder to your host.

    Part C Ftp program

1 program open ftp of your choice (I use Filezilla).

2 enter the identification information (ip/url, username and password) to your destination from the host.

    3. download the entire folder (mine is called "museTest") from the desktop to a folder on the remote server.

Go to the destination of the remote folder via your browser of choice. So in my case I download the entire folder "museTest" at the root of the structure of my server I should be able to navigate the site in this way

    http://mydomain.com/museTest/

Or if your server does not by default enabled documents you will need to navigate to it directly, like this

    http://mydomain.com/museTest/index.html

  • Cannot remove a blue border around hot spots.

Despite extensive research online, I can't figure out how to remove the ugly blue border that forms around all my image map hotspots.  I applied all the rules CSS of the definition of the borders to 0, but must apply to a link to the actual image, not a hotspot in an image control, because it did not work.  I'm not very good with CSS, but would like to know exactly what I should add, and exactly where I need to add, to remove the border from ALL of my hot spots throughout my site.  If anyone can help, I would appreciate it really - it drives me crazy.  The more detailed (aka. obvious) and "dumbed down" explanation would be well received!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.  I found another reference online (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3268731?start=0&tstart=0) who suggested to include the 'space' in the CSS.

So yes, Murray similar to what you suggested, I added

    map area {}

    outline: none;

    }

and it worked!  Apparently the contours are visible on Safari (?) because they were not show on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, but now the problem is solved!

  • ("Subform1.Name.ui. #textEdit.border.fill.color ')-wht is 'UI' here?

    Hello

I'm new to Java script to an interactive form, when I saw adobe help, I found the slot block.

When you set the background color or the area to be filled for each text field, it must Access your scripts to properties that require a term of reference for syntax that includes the sign sharp (#). Because JavaScript interprets correctly the pound symbol (#) in the expressions of the reference syntax, the script uses the resolveNode method to solve the expression.

    xfa.resolveNode("Subform1.Name.ui.#textEdit.border.fill.color").value = "153,204,255";

    xfa.resolveNode("Subform1.Address.ui.#textEdit.border.fill.color").value = "153,204,255";

    Pls. Let me know
    (1) here, which is "ui" (I knew user iterface, but, why he kept here)
    (2) he said, ' # ' will not interpret correctly @! Then, whty is it recycled here?
    (3) where can I find the numbers that represent the physical visible colors, like "153,204,255" IS here blue
    (4) wht is "xfa"?
    (5) WHT IS 'resolveNode"here?

    Hello

I'll do my best to try to explain.

You agree involved scripts, which can be difficult to transfer from one form to the other.

    1. "ui" stands for the user interface and is the method to access the visual appearance of the object, for example the fill color. The script can be simplified to Subform1.Name.ui.oneOfChild.border.fill.color.value = "255,255,255";  See an example here: http://assure.ly/ewrLMo and John Brinkman's blog: http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/2008/10/exclusion_groups_v20.html.
    2. I'm not sure what JavaSctipt would be interpreter the #, but I know that # is required when you use this method. As I said above, the script can be simplified, so that you don't need to specifically refer to the className of the object (textEdit).
    3. The colors are expressed in red, green, blue (RGB). You can explore the colors at http://kuler.adobe.com/.
    4. "xfa" is synonymous with Architecture of XML form. There is a strict structure for the objects in the hierarchy. In addition, there are a number of Document object models, one of which is the xfa.resolveNode of XFA DOM. is scripts against this model. It's heavy stuff, and I am struggling to describe correctly.
    5. Have a look here on resolveNode: http://assure.ly/kUP02y.

The concepts here are quite complex and you will need to read up on the topics.

    I really hope this helps,

    Niall

  • Several items of "Reference".

As many of you know for sure, good 3D applications offers the possibility to copy items of "reference". Basically the newly created element looks like a copy, but in fact, it is not. If changes are made to the original, the reference will instantly receive the same changes.

Now imagine create you a table design with images and types of column/line that often occur.

Once you want to change an important detail, you will have to change in the world.

    If you could create

    • 1 symbol
    • 1 row
    • 1 border
    • etc...

and copy the elements of reference for all other instances, changing design would be much easier and faster. Change the original and see the effect on all copies of reference.

I would like to know if a feature like this exists or if something like that is planned.

Thanks in advance for your comments and/or help on the issue.

Right-click on a layer in your layers panel and select "convert to smart object" to transform it to a smart object.

Drag one to the new layer icon in the Panel layers to create another instance.

Double click on one of the instances of the smart object to set all.

Via right click, if you select "New smart object via copy" you get a new version, which is independent of the original.

Remember to right click on the title of the layers, not the icon.

  • Why my header of table in contact with the top border of the table?

I created a single-celled table that behaves as a title in a quick reference guide.

The problem is that the header of the ends to the top text against the top border of the table, as shown below.

I tried to change the cell margins in table designer and by changing the spacing options in the paragraph Designer.

Or is there a better way than a table to accomplish this topic?

    How can I fix it?

    Cindy,

Check the paragraph designer to see where in the cell (top, middle or bottom) is specified for the paratag used for the title of the table. In addition, check if there is no positionnelles substitutions for the margins specified in the paratag. It will be take it some parameters specified through the table designer.

  • Duplicate the reference: how to unify?

I have references in doubles, that that is the same image on the disc has more than one reference entry in Aperture.

If I delete the reference to Aperture 2 1 and then proceed to empty the Recycle Bin to open the disk file ends up in the trash of OSX. Once you empty the trash OSX the file of the disk is lost.

At this stage the 1 reference I did not remove is an orphan IE: the reference points to nowhere (file not existing)

How is - that someone is supposed to do to remove 1 of the 2 reference without deleting the file from the disk?

    Thank you

I select one of the versions in Aperture and using ' file > consolidate. " Select this option to copy the reference file when you are prompted. Then, remove the second version, a reference to this file. Now you can move the the first image is again referenced.
