Wiring something NewVal node doesn't seem to work. I will throw a local variable in each event, or is there a better way?
  • My second problem is that I want to give the main direction of the display command, but at the end of the string. How is that possible?

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I've implemented a customButton class that extends from BitmapField to tuchscreen.

  The CustomField is FOCUSABLE.

  I placed 6 these customButtons in a horizontal field.

  First 3 buttons are getting clicked correctly but the last three are not capture any key event.

  The procedure is the same for all. But still this is happening.

  Can someone tell me why its happening? How can I solve this problem?

However when I read my record then the roll on menus were not visible. The root of the menu was visible, but none of the other levels after that. Any ideas why this happens? Thank you

  Thanks for such a quick reply, using a combination of these two methods, I got what I was looking for! By activating the option "Convert tooltips to rollover captions", I was able to capture the first level of the menu, although it would not capture any other levels. Using the suggestion of screenshots, I was able to get what I had at the other levels.

• setChangeListener is not catch custom buttons

  I've done some custom buttons (extends the scope) and overrided the navigation click on it:

  I put these buttons in a GridFieldManager, but the setChangeListener event is never caught when I click on the button... any idea?

  I don't know it works or not. Try this, go to Tools--> Preferences > OC4J embedded and change them to "address default local IP.

  Try this if it works or not. Because the issue is not reproducible on my machine. So can't say whether it helps or not.

  I found that this was due to my own bug. It was a problem with z-index. I increased the z-index of the button, and it solved the problem. The button must have been in conflict with lowest elements of the page, but it was very well at the top of the page.

  I added this Manager in verticalFieldManager.

  My problem is the two button touchevent last isn't getting captured.

  As Manager of footer I have headerManager (HorizontalFieldManager). That I placedonea the button on the left and right. In this event button to the left of the button you get captured but the right button touchevent is not getting do not capture.

  In short... the fields that I place in the right corner (1/4 of the screen) dod not capture the key event. It too is happeing in the camera.
