Custom drawing curves, shapes, the shapes of S, etc.. ?

How to draw symmetrical curves, custom shapes, shapes of S, etc.?

I am a beginner and I have PSE 6. I can upgrade to version 8 or use plugins if necessary. I've been Googling this, but comes back to pen pencil? Where are the paths options?

-> My question is I am wanting to create custom forms. For example, a half circle curve or shape of s. how can I do? I had rather not use the marquee selection tool.

An example of a curve I want to reproduce is attached.

Thanks for any help.

I have never tried this product, but you might look into elements. He claims to add several Photoshop features like being able to make a path from a selection and to convert a path to a vector shape.

I don't see why it would be possible as there are has several series of actions that add features of Photoshop elements such as the mask of the base layer. I also found an action that converts a selection into a path so it can be drawn with a brush... looking for: Sunday, October 19, 2008 "Stroke with a brush for PS/PSE Actions!"... about halfway the to the bottom of the page. Not what you want to do a custom shape, but the evidence that selections can be converted into paths. (Actually, it's a really good action to have if you have items that you can trace different paths with brush tips instead of using Edit

You may still have to save the form to a file separate if you intend to use it more than once. You could probably build files of master with an assortment of different forms, each on its own layer... kind of work around the problem of not being able to save a form defined in a custom shape file.

    HI -.

I don't know what his name but on win 10 / Photoshop CC 2015, whenever I have to draw a shape layer, I get a little window indicating the angle/length/width/etc, I draw.  While I don't know that it is a great tip for some people - for me it's annoying and it covers what I'm trying to see that I draw.

  • How to draw simple shapes in PF_EFFECTWORLD / PF_LAYERDEF

    Hi, AE community!

My question is perhaps a little strange, but I'll try

Is there (SDK) a methods to create Visual as forms a circle or oval, line, perhaps something like a point of color and pen?

    What I want to get:

Read data (color, position) of composition/layer source and create small shapes with the same brightness and the same position in the new world, then mix it with the output.

    Available solutions I see:

    1. with the help of suites, as a

    Suites.FillMatteSuite2()->fill()

with a form of circle in the arguments. Fill() receive a PF_Rect, I know not, but might a similar solution undeclared in SDK_Guide ?

    2. with the help of the DrawBot with bows or similar courses with filling.

I found different examples 'ColorGrid' and 'CCU' practices, but with the help of DrawBot confuses me, because in my PF_OutFlag_NON_PARAM_VARY project used Pavilion and I should call Render function to calculate the particles of the post each time and move them. With DrawBot (I understand the Guide), I have to use DrawBot in the Draw event. Or maybe it's all wrong way and DrawBot are not created for tasks like my.

    3. using an iteration suites.

In the examples of projects, I found complex loops with iterate world of entry and draw pixels in a special for the area of the circle (if I understood). In other words, I can create array with (special for my task) pixel coordinate system, creating points for particles in this table, then loop through that array and move at the same in the world of the output. OK, if this way right, then I need to use mathematics to calculate ovals or circles, and then calculate the feathers or aliasing for this form. The problem requires clear that computing power

Maybe all these solutions won't and I can use another way to solve my task? There may be some functions to draw different shapes and I missed them in the SDK Guide? I'm afraid to reinvent the wheel, because so far got only square

Anyway, thanks for any advice or the way to solve my problem!

Well, I found answers to my questions. If someone needs my help, please, write them in this thread.

    OK, problem solved...

For others, this issue please check the following:

Try to draw the mouse instead of the stylus to help looking for failures, (this issue is not with the mouse for me), this will tell you if it's to do with the settings of the brush or pen/hardware that you are using. Check with another software to see if the issue is there as well, GIMP (free) and Samson (free trial). For me, these programs do not have this problem, but that had fallen to the way that adobe uses the Tablet and stylus (Wacom API) differently.

Try to re - install, (I tried to reinstall the drivers, I had and re-installing Photoshop that did not help, but it can help you).

Found a new set of through Wacom drivers, which are aged for a few weeks... installed them and restarted and now the problem has disappeared.

Could someone help me with this. It would be highly appreciated if an illustrator file can be provided (via sendspace.com). Ideally, when it was enlarged to 120%, the shape doesn't NOT blur.

  • Drawing Bitmap on the custom field

I try to shoot in object overrided method in this way.

     protected void paint(Graphics g)    {         Bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("test.bmp");        if(picture != null)            g.drawBitmap(getPreferredWidth()+5,                          getPreferredHeight() + 5,                          picture.getWidth(),                          picture.getHeight(),                         picture,                          0,                          0);

    curves2.png

Hey Stan! I recognize that the exercise in the notebooks of the IPC.

Your first curve much coming in the second anchor, but he'll be back on this anchor point that is not quite right. I use the technique of the old school here (both are taught in the book), then try this:

Draw the first curve that you did:

    • Press on and drag to the top anchor 1 point, release the mouse button
    • Press on and drag down the anchor 2, release the mouse button
    • Return to the point 2 anchor, press Alt/Opt and press on and drag upward on the 2nd anchor point, release the mouse button
    • Press on and drag down the anchor 3, release the mouse button
    • Return to the point 2 anchor, press Alt/Opt and press on and drag right right up on the 2nd anchor point, release the mouse button
    • Press on and drag down the anchor 4, release the mouse button
    • Return to point 4 of the anchor, press Alt/Opt and press on and drag upward on the 2nd anchor point, release the mouse button

Look at it this way: you drag as you want the curve to go, so 1 anchor is in place and 2 anchor is down. But 2 turns on itself, that is why go back you to 2, press the Alt/Option key and drag upward.

  • Several acceleration curves require the splitting motion?

Let's say I have a movieclip move from point a to point b to point c (each point corresponding to a keyframe on the timeline). Lets say I want to apply an ease curve personalized for the movement of the point a to point b and a curve of different acceleration of the point b to c. The only way that I could understand how it was to divide the movement to the keyframe b. What is the only way to do it? What happens if I want to change the x / y location of the movieclip at the point b - then I have to change its location on the keyframe before the split and also after the separation. Or worse, what if I want to change the curve of the path at the point b? Then I have to change the handle Bezier entering the keyframe before the split and the outgoing handle after the split, hoping that they are consistent with each other. Is it really how it's supposed to do?

It's using Flash CC 2014 motion tween (not classic Tween).

Finally, I realized that I could change the trajectory and add Bézier curves to it instead of adding custom acceleration. Doing it this way does not split the movement.
