Custom form of OAF - access denied with code 400

We get this question after the deployment of OFA custom forms in our development environment.

Error in the apache log shows:

[error] [client 28.1.6.95] mod_security: access denied with code 400. Pattern match. ^ ([-__ | #! = A-Za-z0-9 / :,.$()]) {0,255} ([-_ | #! = A-Za-z0-9 /:,. $ ()]) {0,255} ' $' in ARGS_NAMES.])

We conducted last autoconfig and no change. Recorded a SR.

I guess others have seen this issue in R12.1.3.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Issue lies in the ARGS_NAME parameter.  Comment security.conf of httpd.conf and follow the steps below. Custom forms OFA work without problems.

1. Please stop services

2 backup $ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf

3. comment out the following line

include "/... /... /.ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/security.conf.

After his comments it should look like this

#include ' /... /... /.ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/security.conf.

4 restart the services and test again the question

    Hi Wayne,

    Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forum.

    Let me try and help you with this problem.

    The "Access denied" error '80070005' error Code indicates that you do not have the permissions to change the parental control settings.

    1. Are you logged on to the computer as administrator?
    2. Are you signed in to the Family Safety with ID Parent website?

    First, check the date and time is set correctly.
    Right click on the clock in the system tray. Select adjust Date and time.

    Check and correct the month, day, year, hour, minutes and time zone.

    Reboot if you have changed all the foregoing.

    I would also refer to suggestions provided by "Christian_Co" and check if it helps:

  • KB948465 access denied code 5

    I bought a HP Pavilion with WIndows Vista SP1 in 2009. I tried to install SP2 in this machine every week since that time and have failed. I always receive the msg of error 'ACCESS DENIED', then 'Code unknown error 5.'. I have studied several suggestions found online such as the removal of all firewalls and such (McAfee, etc.)  as well as to ensure I am registered as the administrator (this is the only active account).  This is getting quite frustrating.

    It seems that on MS sites I am referred near here to there without answers anywhere than anything. Help! I hate to have to go pay someone to fix this stupid thing.

    FYI, I've upgraded this Vista computer. It's my main account in Vista.

    3. Click on the Advanced button
    4. Owner tab
    5. Edit... button
    6. Select administrators in "a change in ownership at", check "Replace owner of subcontainers and objects '... This may take some time
    7. Open cmd.exe as an administrator
    8. Type "cacls l:\messedUpFolder /T /e /g administrators: f"... .This could take some time
    9. rmdir /S l:\messedUpFolder

  • HTTP POST will fail with the status code 400

    Hello

    I am trying to DISPLAY some data but my code still fails with code 400. I tried to change the URL and the method and adding different headers but I get the same answer. What I am doing wrong? My code is below.

    HttpConnection connection = null;
    DataOutputStream outputStream = null;

    try {
    connection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(serverUrl);
                connection.setRequestMethod("POST");
                connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/json;charset=UTF-8");

                outputStream = connection.openDataOutputStream();
                outputStream.write(new String("test").getBytes());

                outputStream.flush();
                outputStream.close();

                if (connection.getResponseCode() == HttpConnection.HTTP_OK) {
                    isSuccess = true;
                } else {
                    failureMessage = "Error message " + connection.getResponseMessage();
                }
            } catch (IOException e) {
                failureMessage = "IOException: " + e.getMessage();
            } catch (Exception e) {
                failureMessage = e.getMessage();
            } finally {
                if (outputStream != null)
                    try {
                        outputStream.close();
                    } catch (IOException e) {
                        // Nothing to do
                    }
                if (connection != null)
                    try {
                        connection.close();
                    } catch (IOException e) {
                        // Nothing to do
                    }
            }

    In the end, the solution was to add "interface = wifi" at the end of the URL. I guess I'll have more problems when I switch to 3G, but for now it's ok.

    @Peter,

    I just wanted to say your responses in this forum have always been invaluable and led me to the right solutions. Your posts here and here were very useful to fix this that I had spent several hours on. So thanks a lot!

    I found a few other questions on this forum who have remained unanswered.   I found a site citing the problem for drive X - I use XI.

    Change to drive XI.   Perhaps the reader at the library had this as its default setting.

    1. In Adobe Reader, clear the check box enable the Mode protected at startup :

      • If you have a PDF open, right-click the document, and then click Page Display Preferences.
      • If you open Adobe Reader from the shortcut, click on Edit > Preferences.
    2. In the categories dialog box Preferences pane, click (enhanced) protection, and then clear the box enable the Mode protected at startup .
    3. Close and reopen Reader.

    I have no idea if that setting has been changed in my XI player since I used this version exactly one year ago.
