• The custom shape tool - can I make the line thicker?

  I use PSE 10 and trying to insert a circular form, I can add an image in various locations. The custom shape tool includes a circle that would be ideal for this purpose, except that I can't find a way to make the line thicker.

  Is it possible to do this please?

  You can use a contour layer Style to go around 'thick '.

  Go in layer > layer Style > Style settings and check the stroke

  

  You can adjust the size at any time by double-clicking the fx on the thumbnail of the layer to bring up the Style settings.

  I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and I am using the shape tool customized to make a note of black music.  However when I do the music note, there no color to it.  I can't find a color option for any custom shape tool.

  Where is the option that would change so the note color is black?

  You have customized the Edit tool bar control... the icon in the toolbar.  If its not there try resetting Photoshop tools and it does not solve the problem try resetting your Photoshop preferences.

• Lost custom shapes

  Triangle.  I want to draw a triangle, but I can't find the presets in the custom shape tool.   With the tool selected, I click on the form and the flyout gives me a bunch of strange presets for the corrector, harvest 4 inches etc..  I don't know where predefined forms.

  Are you sure that you have loaded a pre-defined tool and not only custom forms?

  

• When I click on Define Custom Shape, I get an error message: "could not complete your request because of a program error."

  I use Photoshop CC 2014. When I click on Define Custom shape, there is an error box that says: "could not complete your request because of a program error."  How can I fix it or work around it? I have looked on the internet for answers, but could not find any solution to this. The custom shape tool is 99% of what I use!

  Well, now it works. It was a particular path that generated the message. Other forms custom records.

  HI, I had the same problem with the latest version of PS. I fixed it in this way:

  1. familiarize yourself with the tool Panel.

  2. click hold in the lower part of it, when there is an icon with 3 points, and choose edit toolbar

  3 TheCustomize toolbar appears. In the column of Extra search tools the shape tool customized and drag and drop it into the column of toolbar

  3, tap done.

  I learned in seeking how to install brushes, patterns, ect. in photoshop 13 running via the preset manager. However, you cannot do the same for custom forms when dealing with the cookie cutter tool. Can someone tell me how to install custom shapes?

  There are two places you can put custom shapes to show for the Cookie Cutter tool

  C:\Program Adobe Photoshop elements 13\Presets\Custom forms

  or

  Forms of \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\13.0\Presets\Custom for theusernameC:\Users\

  The difference is that those in the program folder files appear in the list of forms in alphabetical order on the rest and those of the AppData show at the bottom of the list under a separator line.

  I use the tool pen to draw a shape and select to create a custom shape. I use the path: edit - define a custom shape = 'impossible to finish the order of custom shape set due to the program error.

  The error message is displayed when I click on the button set.

  Well, it was pretty much a mistake in the way I created. I guess that because I deleted the path and created a new and each works well. So, if this happens just you try to delete the path and create a new form. Hope my experience helps someone. X]

  When you have what you want to save the selected PDF file, make sure that you press properties, and set the resolution in the settings.  PDF files themselves have quality settings, (print quality, Web quality etc) then make sure that you have the right to a game if you plan to use the "print" function to save in PDF format.

• Click and drag the shape tool creates multiple instances (w / photos)

  When I click on and drag a shape tool, illustartor creates multiple instances of the object, such as a card when you earn solitare.

  (C) there are many tutorials photoshop online. If you are looking to really learn photoshop, try deex.info (they are paid) you can see Phlearn on YouTube or really just look at the effects on YouTube.

• Illustrator CC - shape tool won't forms

  I just Illustrator, having been a long-time user of PS, and the interface is driving me crazy because I have the impression that perfectly intuitive actions are not functional - but now I'm wondering if there is just something wrong with my computer, because what should probably be the simplest tool does not work properly.

  So basically, when I select the tool, then click and drag and let go so that my desired proportions are formed, the tool exit the (lack of a technical term)-is moving-mode, where the sides are highlighted and you can see the anchor points. I tried pressing enter, shift, "m", right click, but nothing works. As soon as I try to use the tool to create an additional form, the original sketch disappears, because the record form as a finished object. I watched the tutorials on how to use the shape tool and none of them say a few words on manually deselect the tool in order to get the desired shape, and when I click right it isn't an option deselect that would keep the form of tact, anyway. Someone has an idea what is happening?

• Where can I find the Shaper tool? I have a pencil with four options of pencil, but no option of shaper. I am CC, 2015.0.0

  I have reviewed some of the other discussions that indicate that the pencil is now in the Shaper tool. However, I have not a Shaper tool. Instead, I have a pencil with four options of pencil and no option Shaper. Is this a bug?
