  Photoshop filters only work on raster images (i.e. pixels). Two ways to get the necessary shape layer raster:

  1 rasterize the SL, constantly converting them into a regular pixel layer (although you can keep a copy of the SL in case you wanted to come back).

  2 convert the SL to a dynamic object which non-destructive encapsulates the SL and provides a matrix representation on which filters can operate. It is beneficial that you can change the shape at any time confined layer, you can transform non-destructive (e.g. stretch or deform) the SO as many times as you want, and filters can be attached as non-destructive editable new dynamic filters.

  For the clouds be visible only the existing pixels and not the empty region of a layer, make a mask of the layer: target a layer, Ctrl-click on the thumbnail to get a marquee of its pixels, and then click the Add mask at the bottom of the layers panel. That's what I did below, but the mask could be used as a mask smart filters that you see as a white tile.

  Elements has much less features with vectors as the full Photoshop.

  That said, it is possible to create and work with your own shapes if you us different add-ons, in particular of the elements + (on items + , very affordable).

  Read the section 'Ways': paths

  To save your creations of vectors (for example with paths from selections), save your vector layer in a psd or tiff format that you can then use in new designs.

  You can use a contour layer Style to go around 'thick '.

  Go in layer > layer Style > Style settings and check the stroke

• I have problems with of the Subvi after the use of customized device model

  I used to start my machine personalized customized device model and I got success in the deployment until I started to do more complicated the Subvi.   I am currently trying to convert low FPGA and high ticks to the duty cycle, but for some reason when I add it to the RT VI "Data read of HW" driver, it seems to cause a downtime... ideas?   You can customize the context menu to remove elements of the request and keep others:

  Click on the table (and not on the array element!) in the Panel and select Advanced-> Menu contextual Run - Time-> Edit...

  This brings the context Menu Editor:

  Change the control drop-down menu of "Default" to "Custom".

  Select it "?" line in the tree on the left control.

  on the right, change the element Type of the "user position" «Application point-> Description and Tip...» »

  It automatically fills the corrent name and the tag.

  Save the rtm either in a file or in the control.

  LV will automatically manage elements of the application in the control, any necessary events.
