  I think they will sit down with you and get to a document specifying your functional needs. This will result in an estimate of how long it will take and how much it will cost. They build and perhaps even administer it.
  They will use Oracle products as much as possible, it will be at least Oracle's RDBMS and Oracle Application Server (full product). Oracle Application Express looks like too low for your purpose.
  As for "exactly what you want": it makes me smile. I was however quite a long time to see many projects fail because of unclear customer specifications.

Can we build custom web applications (not ecommerce) as market of fundraising with adobe business catalyst?   The short answer is Yes, you could create a market of fundraising.  The most complete answer depends on your definition of a "Web App" and about specific features you are wanting to deliver Web application.  If you are thinking about programming custom php server-side, then, no, this isn't what BC Web Apps. Wikipedia defines a web application like any application written in a language of browser support which relies on the browser for rendering. Applications Web BC meets this definition. "The best definition in my opinion is that a web"site"is defined by its content, all in a web"app"is defined by its interaction with the user. WebApps BC framework can be used for the delivery of content and interaction with the user therefore also integrates with this definition.

  To be clear, "WebApps" in British Colombia is not for coding web applications customized to measure in the broad sense.  In fact, you do not have to do any coding at all (although having knowledge of html/css & javascript will significantly expand what you can do). Colombia-British 'Web-Apps' is a relatively basic set of configurable fields and the tools used to collect and present data.  Its main purpose is to publish "lists". i.e. the items list on which you click to display a details page.  This may not seem particularly high-tech, and it's not. But if you think about it, most of the interactive web applications, a very simple to very advanced (for example Articles; Image galleries; eCommerce, real estate ads; Labour markets; Auction sites; Business directories; Search engines) are all built around this fundamental problem. that is, they present a list of items that are related to a detail page.

  To this end, BC WebApps allows you to define a data set using all types of field (for example, text string, radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down lists, text box, image path, links, etc.) allows the collect and publish the data however you want displayed in your list views and view detail (more view editing for content generated visitor).  Of course there are limits to what we can do. But there are a lot of innovative workarounds for each limitation. Understanding of the parameters allows a very wide range of possibilities to achieve remarkable results for your customers.  WebApp capabilities are range from the Colombia-British, wide range of features such as Member areas secure, e-commerce functions, lists of campaign etc.

  To return to your original question... "Could you build a web fundraising custom application market in British Colombia?   Yes!  You may allow visitors to the join (members of the safe zone) and then present a list (WebApp point) which is published on the site. Other visitors can view this item in the list and click to view the Details page. They can then choose any number of such further actions as defined in your WebApp structure it As... make a payment (e-commerce); Leave a comment; Like on Facebook; Tweet on twitter, save as a favorite; Send to a friend. etc.  This does not mean that everything is possible (e.g. making payments would be possible using a built-in "seamless" payment gateway).   Regarding the compariosn a web app and web form are totally different things.

  A web form is a form that you can build to connect the person and all custom data information that you create in the Business Catalyst CRM. The person is created if new or existing information of this form attached to this person. The information on this form is stored in a case agaisnt this person. Web Forms can be used to sign people to secure the areas, set people like wholesalers, place them on a list of campaign, fill out the custom CRM and more.

  A web application is a custom web application. If you want to build something of a list of the information that has a detailed page of this House, to the testimonies of what you want. With the release of the layout options and custom fields, you can create you can build all sorts of things. Know something like jQuery very well and you can build some really cool things.

  It is a way out of a large number of data elements would highlight.

  A web application also has the ability for users to add items and edit items associated with them, IF you configure these features of the web application when you create recorded. A public profile for example this person can change or submit.

  Information created as web app items are not part of CRM, if you mentioned users uplading images and a description, element of web app information, it is not stored agaisnt the person in the CRM.

  Is this possible? It doesn't for me due to unique URL problem yet.

  You have a page with the same name as you want for the web application folder.

  1 remove this page from banksy (Dungeon of backup of your content)

  2. change your url web app for /banksy you need

  3. create a folder called /banksy (it will allow you to make a folder)

  4. create an index.html in the folder of Banksy page - put your content to the page that you deleted here

  You will then have an index for the file page and the web application will work...

  /Banksy - index page

  /Bansky/ - index page

  /Banksy/index.html - index page

  / web banksy/something - point app

• How to add custom merge Web application (ADF) appearance

  I've implemented adding custom to a Webcenter portal application skin. However, there is no entry in the ADF - config.xml and also I am unable to rocedd with addition of skin in the web application from merger. Please someone help me in this and also suggest suitable learning resources.

  OK, I'm going to presume that apex is installed in the same pattern as your 'vl_emp_master' table.

  First of all you must manually create the admin user. All users of the application websheet are stored in APEX$ _ACL table. So we insert all the 4000 in there automatically.

  APEX$ _ACL (ID, WS_APP_ID, USERNAME, PRIV, CREATED_ON, CREATED_BY, UPDATED_ON, UPDATED_BY)

  We want to insert:
  WS_APP_ID is your application id (for tests, I will assume it is 100)
  Username - empid of your table 'vl_emp_master '.
  PRIV - an - admin, R - drive I think and there is a letter more I don't remember
  CREATED_ON, UPDATED_ON, you can put here today
  CREATED_BY, UPDATED_BY which is the name of your workspace (to test, I'll assume it's "Hesh")

  OK, so open your sqldeveloper, sqlworkshop or sqlplus any and type:

  SELECT * FROM APEX$ _ACL, now you should just see your admin user.

  OK now we will insert all 4,000 of them.

• Detect when a person has presented a Web application using liquid?

  I have a web application that allows anyone to edit the items in a web application, however, I want only certain users to be able to edit this web application. I have some safe zones assigned to these users. I use module_data, so I don't know what secure areas, the user is subscribed to. I can then run the following logic:

  This works great but I ran into an issue. With this web application in particular, for each element, we add the field "presented by" so that the user will be able to modify this point. This particular user can change the web application element they are assigned to and are not attributed to one of the areas of security that has editing access.

  Is there a way to detect, using liquid, when a user is assigned to the subject field? In other words, I want to be able to do this:

  I checked the {{this | json}} but don't see anything that I could use. Is there something?

  I thought about adding the {module_webappcustomer} on the page to execute the logic, but I did not understand what a moment.

  Hi Lynda,

  A solution we came up with many years ago, almost liquid, but still topical today, was to add in another field in the site web app called ' presented by ', and it simply reproduces the generation presented by feature. Place the email address of the owner of items in the web app in this new custom field to manually check if current logged-in user has access to change this point of current web application.

  It's barbaric, I know, but it works.

  I use jdeveloper 11.1.2.4 version. Can anyone tell please how to add custom JSESSIONID (BLTSESSIONID) to the URL of the web application ADF that must be deployed in weblogic server. I tried the following approach. but it did not work for me.

  in webogic.xml, I added

  However, I've added the weblogic.xml manually from the gallery.

  You don't have to add the session ID to the URL. The Web application automatically manages session IDS. By default, it uses an HTTP cookie (a cookie with name JSESSIONID) therefor. The Web application will automatically add it to the URL only if it detects that the client browser does not support cookies (for example, if the user has disabled cookies in the browser). By adding the lines above to weblogic.xml you just changed the name of cookie JSESSIONID to BLTSESSIONID default session. This is useful only if you have access to a couple of different Web applications from one and the same server and you want every application to maintain a clean session (for example, each application having a different session cookie name). If all applications on the server use one and same name cookie (JSESSIONID for example) and you have access to more than one application at the same time in one and the same browser (and even multiple instances of the browser, with the exception of some special cases), you will not be able to work with these applications correctly because the next access to another application will replace the cookie and you will lose the session to the requests earlier. Because HTTP cookies are maintained at the level of server name, it's not at the level of application root. In this case, you must specify the application names specific cookie (what you did above).

• Product filters of the building with Web applications

  I'm currently building product in my catalog page filters, but I'm stumped as to how to do it.

  I had read that it must be done through the Web Apps, but I can't figure out how. From what I understand, I have to add each product to the Web application. That would be nice, but that would mean having to add each product twice, once to the Web application and once to the product database? Is this fair?

  The filter options, I need is a drop down menu for product scale, a scroll of the brands of products checklist, a slider for product prices and list the product color.

  It seems very little information with practical examples on the operation of Web applications and how to create them.

  

  OK, you're on the right track. A few note however:

  1. replace:

  {module_data resource="products" version="v3" fields="custom3" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'custom2':'1:10'\}" order="id" collection="myData"}
  

  with

  {module_data resource="products" version="v3" fields="custom2, name" skip="0" limit="10" where="\{'custom2':'{{globals.get.scale}}'\}" order="id" collection="myData"}
  

  This way module_data will get the real value of the query in the URL param, so mysite.com? scale scale1 = and mysite.com? scale scale2 = will make things different.

  When generating the snippet module_data do not forget to include all the fields you will use, including the product name, custom fields, the URL and so on. module_data returns only the fields that you specify.

  API calls can be used in the front-end servers, you need not the snippet ajax for this application.

  I highly recommend passing by the messages filtered by the author and tag -even if it's on blogs, the approach is similar to what you need, the only difference is the resource module_data returns (rather than products blog posts).

  Is it possible a customer filling out a form with some information, that adds data to a web application - but at the same time it creates 6 x 'categories' and affects an area secure web application that has been submitted (by selecting a drop down current secure areas).

  That's what I'm trying to do.

  I have a client that handles the different places.  They download media THAT PDF reports in British Colombia through media downloads and fix them so only those with the correct secure area members to see.  It is then the client has a web application that lists all of the locations.  Each of them has 6 x sets of unique documents that must be downloaded and read by site.   Currently I have added 6 new categories in the admin settings, then go to the web application and manually add the code for the category of support library code appropriate.

  Ideal process:

  1 / the customer logs on to an online form to create a new location - they fill in a few fields of info (name or location, address, etc.)

  2 / they choose a "Secure Zone" that the location belongs to a loss of worms down

  Form 3 / hidden fields and then creates 6 x new categories and place the ID numbers of the category in the web application for the location

  Think I'm too ask a lot... but you never know?

  Don't know how to go about this configuration, create categories of the front-end webapps and secure zone allocation is not something you (as a visitor of a site) can do.

• "Edit" model of the Web application, possible for the user to change the point of "Enabled" to "disabled"?

  I was wondering if it is now possible for a user to change a Web App element and changed to Enabled to disable?

  I would like users to be able to remove their own app web site elements, but deletion would mean he would disappear from the box of Directors (which is not good for us!), so is it possible for them to 'Turn off' an element of web application?

  I do not believe, but you can add your own custom field 'disabled' (say a Boolean field). Then when they click 'delete', it checks this field and submits the Boolean value True (1).

  Then you can omit under condition of any webapp element that has "Disabled" = 1.

  Client side, you can use JS or CSS, or if you use the liquid you could do this on the server side.

• Is it possible to associate a Web application with the ecommerce module to allow members to set their own prices?

  I was wondering is it possible to take a Web application and use it to power the eCommerce module so that a member of a protected area can set their own prices?

  Ex: If a Member wishes to sell an article, they download the image, set their prices and click on submit and the element fills a list of feeds.

  You can have with a payment gateway seamless only web apps that can be presented and edited by members where they can set a price and sell these items to app web via a custom payment form, but this does NOT pass through the electronic commerce so no payment paypal for example, shopping cart etc well you can simulate your own it.
