  In fact they have plans for simple applications overall, with one exception where they offer Photoshop with Lightroom for less than what the combination of would cost them separately.  You're probably not going to get an answer to your question, but... it's probably a part of their marketing strategy that is aware of the management of the Adobe - no information to share to the public.  It is unlikely that anyone who knows why will visit these forums, or are allowed to share this information, even if they did.

  You should run Disk Cleanup in each user account. Do not try to shut it down or change user when defragmentation; system files may be damaged. You must stop the defragmentation, log off, restart the defragmentation and don't really no point for it. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  Hide stuff with CSS does not prevent the content from loading.  It's there, but what is not immediately visible.  Which may amount to a huge difference in bandwidth, especially for mobile users with limited data plans.

  My problem is what happened after that I accepted an update yesterday on the Samsung "Keis' program already downloaded on my computer in order to transfer pictures from my Samsung mobile PAYG on my computer.  However, many no longer works, it has left my phone Samsung Galaxy Ace corrupt!  So, my question is, in an attempt to salvage something from the situation, is it possible to go back to the previous update, perhaps through Windows, but do not go as far as factory settings?  If this is not possible at the moment, would be - this something that Windows 8 could make possible in the future?

  Looks like more false hope that belief for me. The only way that works is if you have a SMS gateway which allows communication via SMTP. No doubt some exist (search for 'JavaMail sms' through google seems to indicate), but if you have to ask you don't have.

  And who exactly where you are stuck: to send SMS messages, you need an SMS gateway. It will be the first thing that you have store because, so far, there is no reason to think in code, protocols or implementations. It can be as simple as plugging a mobile phone, but then you can send messages in mass of course. Most likely, you will need to shop for a partner who has a SMS service you can use blasting.

The store opened, updates applied successfully.  Computer joined to the domain.  Sign in for the first time on this computer as a member of the domain administrator group.  Profile is normally based.  Windows live store tile shows 15 updates, updates applied successfully.  Log off, then back on as a standard domain user.  Store Windows displays 15 update on live tile.  Shop open, 15 updates is displayed in the upper right as usual, click on, try to update, app update screen says there is no update. Live webcam tile said even 15 updates. -This seems to be a permissions issue.  On the desktop if this happens under a standard user account, I am prompted to enter a username Admin and password to install applications to work around this problem, in the store or (metro UI) there isn't this feature.  How to work around this problem?  I found that in the standard user account if I uninstall one of the apps store in need of an update, (xbox music) for example, and then reinstall it from the store, the live tile stores bed 14 updates.  I could do that for all the applications that are installed by default on Windows 8, but it sounds a little crazy.  This problem seems to occur with pre installed applications requiring updates once your profile generated for the first time.  Suggestions?...

  I am a high school teacher, and for a few years, I use an iPad app, iAnnotate. It works great, and it's better for when I want to give audio feedback to students on their paper. It is integrated into Google Reader, so I just students transform their Google Docs in PDF format, see the final draft of a document in their car, and add my audio commentary, as well as any other annotation. When I save, the file has already been annotated, and it was handed to them immediately.

  This works wonders until our school converted to chromebooks last year. Now, each student has a chromebook and can access a PDF file, but it does not open up as a complete document. Basically, they can't him the audio. Through the tutorials on how to access the PDF correctly is a pain, and students often miss steps when they have to go to a full version on a computer at home. Limit even more, we've cut up to about 10 desktop computers that students can access the library, so that students who cannot access a PDF file at home are forced to take turns in the library.

  Does anyone have a solid solution? There are other applications as audio do, but none as carefully as annotated PDF file, and I love the benefit of students PDF of the final presentation, that keeps responsible for their work.

  I would like to have the resolution of different screen for the account of another user on the same computer system.  I found that when I change the resolution, it applies to all accounts, so the customization doesn't really work in this sense.

  I know we can use Magnifier or enlarge the fonts or images on each screen by turning the mouse wheel while holding down the control key.  However, this is not good for someone just not good in computer but not disabled and it is extra work that the user has to do to be able to use the computer.

  You cannot change the resolution, but you can change the DPI. Go to the settings on the display page and increase or decrease the font size to the desired size. This is the workaround we use in our domain environment for users who want the largest size of the text.

  This is a per user setting.
