Customer survey - webform or web app?

I want to build a customer Web site survey.

I know how to build it as a form of web - but then how to collect data?

Someone there example of this?

Or should I build like a web app instead?

What do you suggest me?

Appreciate your comments!

Hello

Whenever you create a form with a custom field, a case is created on presentation. You can access form data through CRM > case.

Kind regards

Aish

  • HTML5 custom homescreen icon + Mobile Web App

    I've been HTML5 game development learning and have a question about Firefox for Android: how to get a custom icon for a bookmark added to the home screen? It seems that Firefox uses either a favicon, or a default star.

    On iOS Safari, I was able to achieve using < link rel = "apple-touch-icon" href = "image.png" / >, and the feature seems to be reported on Google Chrome. "

    I tried to use this code for a favicon customized to a specific page: < link rel = "shortcut icon" type = "image/x-icon" href = "favicon.ico" / >, but it works only when I view the file directly on the computer. " When you access the page through Apache, there is no favicon.

    My other question is about the functionality of the Mobile Web application. In Safari and Google Chrome for Android, iOS, adding "apple-mobile-web-app-compatible" or "mobile-web-app-compatible" allows executed as a web application Web page full screen when recording to the home screen. Firefox opens just like a normal bookmark.

    Any help is appreciated. I'm learning from the "Development of HTML5 game for Dummies" book

    Since no one has answered my question, I did some more research. If I insert this code:

    "< link rel ="icon"href="/path/to/some.png "/ >

    The bookmark has the specified icon. However, the result is disappointing, because the Firefox bookmark icon appears very low quality and blurry next to the Chrome bookmark icon.

  • Sort by fields of web app customized by using liquid.

    I have 2 web apps I want to sort: by price and a custom date.  (ascending or descending) I know that in this forum, people have tried to try it through liquid, but unsuccessful, I want to know if there was no workaround or any update on whether or not this can be done. Cheers, Ryan

    Kinds of very basic table in a liquid, but they do not seem to work in British Colombia:

    | type: 'price' (as part of your loop through the collection)

    And other sorting then the module by default options, there is still no real option...

    The other question is even if that were the case, it would only do that as part of the first 500 items because that's all you can always work with modules and liquid in British Colombia for the moment outside the module_data (which still has limitations)

    This is my biggest gripe with it at the moment, this is why I made an app to generate data for any web application, that I wanted to read that JSON.

  • Can we build Custom Web App using Business Catalyst?

    My client is interested in Adobe Business Catalyst. He wanted to build a custom online business application. Can we build custom web applications (not ecommerce) as market of fundraising with adobe business catalyst? How will it be possible without server side personalization?  If possible, please provide access to developer documents

    Thank you

    Andrea

    The short answer is Yes, you could create a market of fundraising.  The most complete answer depends on your definition of a "Web App" and about specific features you are wanting to deliver Web application.  If you are thinking about programming custom php server-side, then, no, this isn't what BC Web Apps. Wikipedia defines a web application like any application written in a language of browser support which relies on the browser for rendering. Applications Web BC meets this definition. "The best definition in my opinion is that a web"site"is defined by its content, all in a web"app"is defined by its interaction with the user. WebApps BC framework can be used for the delivery of content and interaction with the user therefore also integrates with this definition.

    To be clear, "WebApps" in British Colombia is not for coding web applications customized to measure in the broad sense.  In fact, you do not have to do any coding at all (although having knowledge of html/css & javascript will significantly expand what you can do). Colombia-British 'Web-Apps' is a relatively basic set of configurable fields and the tools used to collect and present data.  Its main purpose is to publish "lists". i.e. the items list on which you click to display a details page.  This may not seem particularly high-tech, and it's not. But if you think about it, most of the interactive web applications, a very simple to very advanced (for example Articles; Image galleries; eCommerce, real estate ads; Labour markets; Auction sites; Business directories; Search engines) are all built around this fundamental problem. that is, they present a list of items that are related to a detail page.

    To this end, BC WebApps allows you to define a data set using all types of field (for example, text string, radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down lists, text box, image path, links, etc.) allows the collect and publish the data however you want displayed in your list views and view detail (more view editing for content generated visitor).  Of course there are limits to what we can do. But there are a lot of innovative workarounds for each limitation. Understanding of the parameters allows a very wide range of possibilities to achieve remarkable results for your customers.  WebApp capabilities are range from the Colombia-British, wide range of features such as Member areas secure, e-commerce functions, lists of campaign etc.

    To return to your original question... "Could you build a web fundraising custom application market in British Colombia?   Yes!  You may allow visitors to the join (members of the safe zone) and then present a list (WebApp point) which is published on the site. Other visitors can view this item in the list and click to view the Details page. They can then choose any number of such further actions as defined in your WebApp structure it As... make a payment (e-commerce); Leave a comment; Like on Facebook; Tweet on twitter, save as a favorite; Send to a friend. etc.  This does not mean that everything is possible (e.g. making payments would be possible using a built-in "seamless" payment gateway). But within the boundaries that exist, YES you could generation custom fundraising for your customer market without programming side server.  See catalyst for Business help | Web Apps-building part 1: understanding of Web applications to learn more.

  • Order web app components by reverse-date of a custom field

    Hi all,

    We have created a Web application that generates a list of events.

    We have created a DEPARTURE DATE field (the field type is "date"), and we need all the elements of the list page will be reverse-date classified using the START DATE field.

    We found an article on the Adobe forums that seems to have found a solution, but in our site, it does not.

    Can update you weight field of a web application automatically?

    Is there someone who can help me achieve what I described above?

    In addition, we must find a script or a plugin allowing the value of the month of the date to be located in the Italian language since Business Catalyst is not fully translated in our language.

    Thanks in advance for any help on this.

    Franco

    Hi Franco, for now you cannot sort by custom date field on web applications. IF you have a range of less than 500 points, you can load all of the elements of web application and then sort the different data such as date. This is your only option for now if you wish.

  • Editing Web App - demand payment? And limited to certain fields.

    I have a web app created by my client. These are listed on the site and visitors to my client can 'book' an element. After an item is reserved for the customer completes the sale offline process to complete the sale.

    Currently, this is done manually using a web forms with payment. When payment is received my client is going in and marked as reserved element of web application. I would like to automate this process...

    To automate it, I think that I can add a field to the form of edition and once they make the payment, the item will be reserved. I have not actually tried to insert a form of payment in a publishing page layout. Which will work?

    Assuming this works, I have another concern. Each Web app has fields 70 or so custom element. Many of these custom fields are for internal use and should not be available for the customer to see or change. If I have a change and the list only form fields I want the customer to be able to change it will erase the other fields. (I know I could hide the other fields in the edit form that the customer sees, but I prefer to keep completely hidden fields if possible).

    This explains, someone has some ideas or ideas to manage such a situation?

    Thank you!

    Hello Lynda,

    The webapp associated forms use a different .aspx treatment of active payment webforms, I fear that you will not be able to create a form of editing form to process payments online.

    In Exchange, you can collect payments using a form enabled for the classic payment and using JS just after the form of payment, you can trigger the modification of webapp form is submitted.

    There are some obvious drawbacks to this Setup, such as: you can't wait to see if the payment goes through trigger the webapp change form when the payment process is complete for example. Another disadvantage is that the process is not wise, that a visitor to the site can just trigger the webapp change form "manually" bulletproof security.

    I hope this helps.

  • Web Apps list filter - if statement works do not?

    I create a selectable list by link of the subcategories with number of assigned press releases

    next to the subcategory listed.

    I use an if statement to filter the subcategories with no assigned press releases.

    The site-> settings-> categories are filled with categories and subcategories.

    There is a Web application with the same categories and a Web application with the same subcategories as

    the site-> settings-> categories.

    When a Parent category is selected in the left column menu, we go to a Page of category model

    to view a list of the subcategories of this category.

    To display the subcategory list is the following code:

    {module_webapps make = "collection" template="/layouts/custom/subcategories-collection.tpl" id = "29111" filter = "classified" itemid = "{{CategoryID}}"}

    Here is the "/ layouts/custom/subcategories-collection.tpl" file:

    < table >

    < thead >

    Name < th > < /th >

    Number of PRs < /th > < th >

    < / thead >

    < tbody >

    {% for item in items %}

    {% If {module_webappscount, 29117, c, {{point.}} CategoryID}}}! = 0 %}

    < b >

    < td > {{item.categoryName}} < table >

    < td > {module_webappscount, 29117, c, {{point.} CategoryID}}} < table >

    < /tr >

    {endif %}

    {% endfor %}

    < / tbody >

    < /table >

    Note: Web App #29117 is press releases, #29110 is #29111 and categories subcategories.

    The problem:

    When the if statement is included to filter empty subcategories

    only displays the table header, and there is no list of subcategories.

    If you delete the statement all subcategories are listed under

    the header of the table. Empty and assigned.

    Why is the survey not only select the subcategories that have

    Assigned press releases.

    If someone would like to know, here is the solution that I use:

    The announcement subcategory Page module:

    {module_webapps id = "Subcategories" filter = 'class' itemid = "{{CategoryID}}" resultsPerPage = "100"}

    List subcategory template code:

    {module_webappscount id = filter "29117" = "classified" itemId = "{tag_categoryid}" collection model = "my_prcount" =""}

    {% If my_prcount.count! = 0-%}

    {tag_name} - {module_webappscount id = filter "29117" = "classified" itemid = "{tag_categoryid}"},

    {endif %}

    NOTE: #29117 = press releases Web App id

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my Firefox browser on the Ubuntu machine to be able to access my email on OWA?

    Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

  • Outlook Web App views?

    In the Office Outlook client the default view is seen compound which shows the currently selected e-mail, appointments of the current week file and the tasks of the current week. Outlook web app does not seem to have a similar opinion, limiting its usefulness for me. Is it possible to get a similar view in Outlook web app to the desktop application?

    Dale soulou

    Thanks to some of the names ridiculous and brand image, there are several web applications that use the name "Outlook", but all are fundamentally different.

    • The Outlook Web Access (OWA) for Exchange Server, you can see if your company is running an Exchange Server, that has web interfaces have been updated in Exchange 2007, 2010 and then again in 2013.
    • If you use Office 365, you still have another style of Outlook Web App hosted by Microsoft.
    • And of course, there are the Outlook.com customer service which is really just a new Hotmail style.

    I assume you mean to either of the first two.  The customization options differ depending on the version of the web application and the browser used to access (previous versions only provided a rich experience in some versions of Internet Explorer).

    But overall, no. The rich client program is longer functional due to development time and resources that have been put in the build, so much as a rich customer value proposition.

  • Web App conditional content

    Hello!

    I created a web application to display in a single image of lease in detail to the page.

    Now my client wants to display two images in specific articles.

    I have a border defined to display around the images, but when he is not a second image, I don't want the border to display.

    Here is the link to the pages.

    A single image: SEPARATE DEVELOPMENT BOOM IN CLEVELAND

    Two images: BUILDING EXCELLENCE AWARD

    I thought about the creation of two owners of content. The one with the provision of an image and the other with a provision of the image of two. When the web application has two images, content support two image display using if/else statements.

    Is this possible and if so, how?

    Thanks much for any help.

    Marian

    If your use of a web application you do not need any content holders... I'm a little confused on the suggestion for this.

    All of this are just custom web app using liquid fields if the field is empty do not show it.

  • How to create a dynamic multilingual with liquid Web site and web apps

    In the thread Re: liquid: what are the best practices suggested for several languages? that part of my problem is resolved.

    I created a list web app that contains several fields from the data source.

    These data source fields have multiple values where the customer has to choose the value of (i) there is. That is to say place: sea front area rural, etc., etc.

    These values must be translated from English into Dutch.

    So, how do I build my Web page with a liquid markup custom c.q. of entry?

    Thanks for any help.

    Kind regards

    Carla

    Hi Carla,.

    You have many options at your disposal with the liquid, so with the datasource_id of the original web application, you can call another Web application referencing this ID to get the information you need and collect the data in a collection or display in a custom template (.tpl) file.

    Here is an example. Inside of your application model web detail.html

    With the help of a collection:

    {module_webapps id = "3rdPartyWebApp" filter = "item" itemId = '{{dataSourceID}}' collection 'webAppData' =' model = '}
    {{webAppData.items [0] .description}}

    With the help of a model:
    {module_webapps id = "3rdPartyWebApp" filter = "item" itemId = "{{dataSourceID}}" template = "display_webapp_description.tpl"}

    ... display_webapp_description.tpl content:

    {{description}}

    You should be good to go.

  • Web App point record and present functions is possible?

    I created a web application I want the user to be able to record without trigger a workflow, then go back and change the content and save again if necessary, then when all is complete submit so that it launches a workflow and web app submitted can be verified.

    This should be used for a course so that assignments can be submitted online.

    Thanks for your help

    Eamon

    To do this, is to use a form in line/update - details - form to collect and record data, they can continue to come back and update the form, you need SAR = false on the form action, if you want to stop the answering machine, and you can easily define the workflow against zero on the form itself with in the admin. The thing to note is that you must use system fields or extended CRM fields in the online form that you can not use form fields custom Web in a form of updating details. Also note that the person needs to be registered to do it all.

    the next thing is to send them to the form of submission Web App (which should be a mirror of your previous form fields) preloads all fields with their customer data and data CRM extended, configure the fields to read only so they can not make changes, do as "final review" page, then all they need to do is to hit the submit button.

    Hope this helps - Billy. P.S. Let me know if you need clarification or expansion on any of the points

  • Is it possible for me to show some web app from a web application in Details view of another web app?

    Is it possible for me to show some web app from a web application in Details view of another web app?

    -relationship (one) 1-1 with a point of web application and another through custom field data source is an option.

    -Display of the elements of the same classification is another.

    Apart from that, British Colombia has really bad interconnection.
