  If the Security tab is always grayed out, go to the tab privacy, beside him, to ensure that private browsing is not verified and 'play' with privacy settings until the password box is not grayed out (I think I remember having to play with it a bit in order to release this box) , but it does not work afterwards.

• Changed my sign in password and now I can't log on

  I have my computer password protected. I have Windows 7 Professional.

  I just changed the password and even wrote the password.

  I restarted the computer and tried to connect, but, I wrote the low password wrong or made a typo mistake so now I can't sign my computer.

  I don't have a backup password.

  Is there a way I can sign on my computer?

  Here you go:

  1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
  2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
  3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the CD.
  4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
  5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
  6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  7. Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
  8. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key. This will save you a lot of trouble. Using a single administrator account is high-risk stuff.

  On some machines, you can start safe mode and log on as administrator with a blank password. This could allow to reset you the unknown password.

  If you do not burn a CD to repair until then you'll have to ask a friend to burn you through the control panel / backup and restore.

  SŠPR is not that. You need IOM or another product.

  the SSL error happens because you're looking for the IP address and not the FULL domain name.

  To avoid this error, use the-d ssopass switch and specify your server's FULL domain name:

  Your provider still requires a password to get or send an email. You can click on the checkbox when Thunderbird to the top of the password dialog box so that it can remember the password for you and it will provide the password if necessary.

  Look for the box to check when open the password dialog box and verify.

  I have a Samsung SideSync Homesync lite and two days ago I suddenly had the same symptoms as you all - a blank screen after trying to open a session.  I tried the Ctrl/Alt/Delete road but no change to this problem.  I have however to solve the problem using the following route:

  1. go to the LOGIN screen

  2 hold down the SHIFT key

  3. click on the power bottom-right icon

  4. in the Menu that opens select Restart (yet now shift key)

  5. in the Menu that opens select troubleshooting

  6 in the next menu, select Advanced Options

  7. in the next menu, select auto repair.  The computer will try to fix the problem.

  8 if the auto repair does not repair the problem back to 5.  and select troubleshooting.

  9. Select Refresh your PC note what's going to happen and if this is acceptable to you then:

  10 then select and open a session according to the instructions.

  11. your PC will be update and cure your problem - it did mine.

  Note the update process takes awhile then works in the network not the battery.

  I think that the problem is the last update of Windows tried to install before a prior update was carried out.  Moral: make sure that your windows updates are up-to-date.
