D610 Nikon Raw files
I'm currently using PS CC, as well as LR5.2. Just got a Nikon D610, shot in RAW and does not open in LR or Camera Raw. I checked on the updates and have current versions, but nothing is available to work on these images I need to get processed and converted as quickly as possible. Please let me know my options to be able to work on them.
Thank you!
Marc N
The D610 must LR 5.3 and 8.3 of ACR, and both are currently available in release candidate on Adobe Lanbs: http://labs.adobe.com/

I bought a nikon d610, when I tried to import raw files in the same way that I had always done with my old nikon d80 before I could not. I got a message saying that the files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom. I also tried with photoshop cc and I couldn't either. Any suggestions?
Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices
The D610 was first supported by Lightroom 5.3.
You will have to pay to
- Lightroom 6 upgrade, or
- Join the cloud, or
- Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the D610 Raw files to DNG, and then edit the DNG in Lightroom 4.4
Digital Negative (DNG)

Help, please. Last night, I did the update prompted by my subscription creative cloud and files where viewable and editable in Bridge and Camera Raw yesterday cannot be converted today. Small thumbnails of some of the images are visible in the bridge, but not all. And none are adjustable in Camera Raw.
I restarted my PC.
Still no change. I did another update of the bridge and then restarted.
No change. I did the update to Camera Raw 9.1 then restarted.
Still no change.
It is huge for me time burden as I have jobs and assessments due. Please tell me what to do.
Support had me ctrl + alt pressed I open the bridge. It has a reset option. Once I reset and purge the cache location problem has been resolved.

Why don't CC with Lightroom and Photoshop CC open my D7200 Nikon raw files?
I just subscribe to creative cloud (photography) because the listed site support raw Nikon D7200 for versions CC with Lightroom and Photoshop files.
But after their installation, they will not open the NEF files.
I downloaded and installed the latest version of Camera Raw, but I can not always open the raw files.

OK, I just discover another discussion that my problem was caused by Nikon Transfer.
I had been using the version of Nikon Transfer, I had with my previous camera, which apparently corrupts a D7200 Nikon raw files.
I have transferred my images (using Lightroom) and NEF files open fine in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Thank you

Nikon RAW files not recognized
I have the latest version of the installed Photoshop CC software again my D7100 Nikon RAW files are not recgonised. Please can someone from Adobe offer a solution?
Thank you
I use Windows 10, Photoshop CC 2015, and I have a Nikon D7100. Camera Raw opens my images very well. If you used the Nikon software to upload your images to the device, which could be the problem. There is something wrong with your end. Adobe has done what is necessary to support your camera raw files. What version of Camera Raw?

why I can not open my D7200 Nikon RAW files in lightroom 4.4, it'll work if I upgrade LR CC?
Hi mikegcross,
Nikon D7200 files are not supported in Lightroom 4.4
Yes, it would work very well after that the Lightroom CC/6 upgrade or you can use Adobe DNG Converter to convert these files to DNG and then import into Lightroom.

I use Lr5 on a PC, working on the Nikon RAW files. Without even touching the images, they lose their shine after a few seconds. Why and how can I keep the liveliness to the origin?
Step 1: Adjust an image in Lightroom, until you are satisfied with its appearance
Step 2: Use develop-> new preset, select all selections in the new preset dialog box (note: I always uncheck the exhibition here, who should probably be adjusted picture, I'm mostly interested by contrast, vibrance and camera calibration settings)
Step 3: In the import dialog box, on the right, under appliquer apply when importing, select the preset desired beside development parameters

will be 4.4 lightroom. recognize the d810 nikon raw files
4.4 Lightroom will import the d810 Nikon raw files.

NO.
However, you can download the free Adobe DNG Converter version 8.6 and convert RAW files to DNG, and then you can import those.

I just put my camera Nikon D90 for a D610. I have been using Adobe Bridge to manage my pictures with the D90 and Camera Raw 6.3 to convert to use raw files in Photoshop CS5. The new D610 wrote different raw files, so I've updated Camera Raw to the latest version (6.7.1) which is supposed to be compatible with the latest Nikon cameras.
The D90 files always convert very well with Camera Raw 6.7.1 but cannot read the raw files of the D610. Someone at - he saw no why not?
Thank you

You must have 8.3 beta version that works with CS6 and CC for D610.

Download d610 nikon nef files?
Is it possible to download from camera Nikon d610 NEF files in Photoshop?
General discussion of Photoshop
Yes, as long as you have Photoshop CS6 or newer. D610 raw files support has been added in Camera Raw 8.3, which will not work in older versions of Photoshop. If you have an earlier version, simply use the free DNG Converter to convert raw files to the universal DNG raw format:
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1

My laptop running Vista Premium 64 - bit, 4 GB RAM, cannot display the RAW files from my new Nikon D7000, using Capture NX2 v2.2.6. The laptop has a small problem because files come when I change the user, but not when I open the program under my name. If I switch to Windows 7, will be also transferred glitch?
Update: I've upgraded to Windows 7, and the problem has simply disappeared. It works fine now. Thank you for all your help.
