  I have a question about the values of constraints in the dashboard of the guests. All fields must come from the same table I think binding values does not work when I select some values of different tables:
  
  For example
  
  Start - Fact Table
  End date - fact Table
  Seller - Org Sun
  Market - Org Sun
  Introducer - Org Sun
  Customer - Org Sun
  
  I'm trying to coerce values beginning with the seller and so on, but it does not work.
  
  This is the expected behavior? all values retrieved from the same table so that it works?

  Look in the administration - view session management to see what SQL is produced by the command prompt, this should help you identify the problem. You can take SQL logic and create a report more than to see what is returned and trace this or the quick logbook to the physical level, so you can see why no results are returned by SQL.

• Dashboard of the guests and stored procedures

  I have 7 guests - 2 which are necessary and others are optional. I created guests from Dashboard and grouped 2 those required in a dashboard command prompt and more optional 5 in an another guest of dashboard. All the guests are assigned to the variables and used in calling a stored procedure in SQL Server. Because I have 2 groups there are 2 go buttons on the page. I found that the order in which I enter data and click on the questions of buttons and will disrupt the call to the proc (i.e. sometimes it brings back data but sometimes she will be not based on recorded fast values).
  
  I have 2 questions:
  1. is it possible to separate the optional and mandatory guests so I can put them in separate the dashboard sections, but to have only 1 'Go' button to send the data?
  
  2. among the guests, I would like to be a multiple selection. Is it possible to send the options of multiple selections in a stored procedure? I use the variables to other values, but I've read using a variable for multiple selection is not possible.

  2. it is not possible in 10 g but possible normally as promised to 11 g. You must create camps prompt or a command prompt with the different possibilities to pass a string instead of an array or a list.

  Put all the prompts in a single column. Then click on the properties button and select 'display horizontally '. The guests will be aligned horizontally.

• Dashboard of the guests and by setting a variable presentation selection

  I have two columns in the table fast edge State Agency (prompt1) and Region (prompt2). State Agency drop-down list values from one column in the db table, but the values of a column different region depends on the selection of the national agency. Each State has a different set of values of the region.
  
  Example: State Agency has values in drop-down list S1, S2, S3, S4 etc... all in the same column db State Agency. On S1 selection in prompt1, list values drop-down area (orders2) must be filled with the column "S1-regions", in the same way on the selection of S2 to prompt1, values in the orders2 must come from the column 'S2-regions' etc...
  I defined a variable presentation for prompt1 @stateAgency and written a Case statement for orders2 something like that
  
  SELECT
  CASE
  WHEN '@stateAgency' = 'S1' THEN 'State Sun '. "" S1-regions. "
  WHEN '@stateAgency' is 'S2' THEN 'State Sun'. "" S2-regions. "

  It load regions by default for the first time but no change in the values of orders2 once I make selection in prompt1. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  Alright... your syntax of presentation variables is wrong. It should be
  SELECT
  CASE
  WHEN ' @{stateAgency} "="S1"and"State Dim"THEN". "" S1-regions. "

  Missing parentheses... Also, be sure to change the formula of the second guest to all static values column in the "orders2.

  In the quick definition, you have your 6 guests, Yes? On the far left of the third line - initially - click on the checkbox to 'group '. This will put guests in two lines. Play with invites to the box by to get the best fit.

  Hi, I ran into soemthing that I can't understand.
  
  In the administration tool, I defined a CURR_MONTH session variable and set the query to find month max in the date dimension. It's all works fine - if I test the variable in OBIEE administration tool, it currently returns "January 2010".»
  
  In addition, in the responses, I can create a query that moves back calendar information and then put a filter on it so the specific columns is equal to the session variable. It works perfectly - I get the 3 lines of return data that correspond to the 3 days of data we loaded for January 2010.
  
  
  However, now that I'm trying to do is set a dashboard with the dimension command prompt date in it. I want the default to months / year equal to the value of CURR_MONTH. However, when I do this, instead of getting the correct value, for some reason some, it becomes the default value I put in place for this variable.
  
  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong or if it is a bug?

  I just tested and it works fine for me.

  (1) in your DB guest pass by default to
  (2) select the Server Variable
  (3) NQ_SESSION. CURR_MONTH
  (4) save and test

• filtering of values of the guests

  We have a requirement where a column titled 'Rôle' will have once numberic and values of characters in there.
  
  Ex: 01, 02,.99,.98, 101, PRM, PRS, EOS, PMS etc.
  
  Now, the user does not want one of these numerical values appear in guests where the user wants to select values while running in a dashboard.
  
  How can I restrict numeric values appearing to the user, so that they may be able to see these characters instead of numbers?
  
  Please help me on what it more imperative for us to provide.

  In the line of dashboard, set the SQL statement to be something like the following...

  SELECT ** a **.
  WHERE ** BETWEEN 'A' and 'Z '.

  (1) we have a dashboard with several tabs - we noted the fast copying values from one tab to another. The user does not want that to happen. Each tab should have their own default. Is it possible that previous prompt tab value does not copy to another guest of the tab.
  
  (2) is it possible to have a guest with Multi Select and Enterable field.

  (1) you can set the quick scope of dashboard to the 'Page '. In this way it will affect reports are only on this page

  I'm coming out of my problem of the last two days and I'm not able to find the solution.
  
  Here's my problem.
  
  I'll have two dashboard pages in a dashboard. The two pages contains guest of dashboard. Now from the command prompt on the first page that I put a variable presentation and I want to use the value of the variable of this presentation to invite ' s value that is used in my second default dashboard page.
  
  
  I hope that I can do with the server variable or variable expression, but don't know the right way. I tried a lot with both, but not able to find a solution.

  This particular guest account has for Safari: nothing you can do about it. If you need a less limited guest account, set one up in System Preferences > users and groups.

  Just how did you "took the guest user option in system preferences '?

  Did you go to system preferences > users and groups and click on the padlock at the bottom left and enter the admin password to allow edits then click the guest account and uncheck the checkbox allow clients to connect to this computer?

  Parental control is not / cannot apply to the guest account.

  You must have a separate account and then check the box for this account that says: turn on parental control.
