  I have a strange problem. I have a table that I have bult tabular on form.
  
  In it, I have a total field which is a column of data type of number.
  
  In the select clause, I have the following select statement...
  
  
  Select decode (sign (amount),-1, amount, null);
  etc.
  
  table
  
  However when I run the page, the form displays the string (null) rather than an empty cell.
  
  Any ideas what I need to do to get it to display an empty cell?

  Under report definition, there is a place that defines this (like default Apex "(null)"). Just as empty.

  I recompiled Forms 10g and 11g Im running on weblogic server, but I see the question mark '?' when special characters such as "n" or any vowel accentuated as 'a' is supposed to be.

  I'm confused by your question. AF:panelForm is usually used to display a single record, while af: table is to display multiple records. What record in the table data in the panelform supposed to match? If this is the selected row, you can try just drag / drop the VO on your page in a table (only some attributes to show 4,5,6). Then do the same thing and drop as a form, show only the attributes 1,2,3. You may need to assign the table autosubmit and partial trigger shape so that the row is updated when you change the selection.

• Modify the ADF search form fields labels

  Data control , I drag and drop a few criteria appointed as Panel request ADF with Table. How to change the labels of fields in the search form. The search form shows the same label in the Object View which is not easy to use. for example, the table in Employee. Instead of (Fname) I need to have on the label (name). Notice, I could change the names of fields in the Table , but not in the search form . I use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3

  To change the component af:query labels, you must change the Text property of the label for the object in view (tab tips UI) attributes

  Hey, I need help with a project, I've been working on, essentially:
  
  I have a XML spreadsheet in this format

  then a form of html table in a stylesheet xsl with 2 inputs, a checkbox (use 1 and 0 to denote checked or not) and a text box that has the checkbox and textbox controls filled with the xml map.
  
  what I'm trying to do, it is to be able to present the new entry, do overwrite the old xml content and replace it with the new entry always before changes are made next to the form (same day or a month later), and then refresh the form show it with new data.
  
  I know html and xml/xsl well enough, but I'm completely new to coldfusion and to be honest, completely lost!

  Take a look by using cffile and save the XML after each update.

  Another nice tag to look at is cfwddx. Easy way to store structures CF etc in a file or a database.

  I know little of Javascript, but my first attempts to integrate it in Acrobat are bothersome. I have created a simple form where the user via a check box the number of people that he or she must register, then the form shows that several fields to complete. I tried to make it work with a single field, before I add more.

  In this example, I'm trying just to get the second hidden registered field if the user checks only 1 person to register. (I already know that I have issues when it comes to hide several fields).

  I have problems in forms 11 g with strange characters. I am convinced that this is due to an incompatibility between Forms and database.

  I'm sure that the client is running NLS_LANG = spanish_spain. WE8ISO8859P15 (taken from the .bash_profile)

  I can even reproduce the problem in sqldeveloper, as if I have this query

  I get:

  This happens even in forms.

  I read the Manual:
