Data of the SVP in BI Publisher

Hello

I am a newbie in BI Publisher and I am trying to build my first reports.

I don't know if there is a bug in the BI Publisher system or a limitation or if I use it properly but I don't have success to do what I want...

I would like a simple report based have the point/branch on JDE (F4101 & f4102) with some category codes and description of associated UDC.

I try to add "UDSC = 1" at the end of the connection string but the result is false. I do not recover the data and the generated XML is totally wrong (the data are mixed)

So, I try to retrieve the description by adding F0005 table.

If I add 1 it's ok, but if I add the other (using aliases for table of course), it does not work...

How do you recover your udc data?

Is it possible to use several times the same table in a dataset?

Is there a problem with my version of BI publisher? She went 11g 11.1.1 number E15253-01

Or is it me who do not properly use BI Publisher?

Thanks for your comments... I'm desperate (or almost)...

I choose the point 1007556, because I do not know this point code and description have finished to PRP2 and PRP3. (I tried only with code and description PRP2 => it works and tried only with code and description PRP3 => busy - but it does not work when there are two tables)

can not try so hard to say

say you have the code and description completed for PRP2 and PRP3

but can you post query / and result (maybe with changed data so secure) for each sql - one for PRP2 and other for PRP3

want to see all-terrain are filled or not

You can try your selection in IDE, said in sql developer

is it working in ide?

Also try with a few changes as below

...

of "JDE". "" F0005 ' "F0005_1."

"JDE". "" F0005 ""F0005. "

"JDE". "" F00092 ""F00092"

  • Publish all by accessing the data in the row selected in the table of the ADF...

    Hello

    I try to get the data of the selected line in the bean on the change of SelectOneChoice in a column of table of the ADF.

    There are two definitions of node in the iterator. When I try to access the data in the row. I see that the first definition of node data.
    How to access the definition data another node?

    I'm trying to access the "sponsorId" of the iterator. I use the code below. But his return null pointer exception.

    The code I use to access the data in the row:

    DCBindingContainer links =
    (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
    DCIteratorBinding = dcItteratorBindings
    bindings.findIteratorBinding ("sponsorIterator");
    ViewObject voTableData = dcItteratorBindings.getViewObject ();
    Line rowSelected = voTableData.getCurrentRow ();
    System.out.println (":" + rowSelected.getAttribute ("sponsorId")); I am able to see the data correctly for sponsorCodeDesc, sponsorPercentage, sponsorStatusDesc

    This is the iterator used for the table (page def):

    < Tree IterBinding = "sponsorIterator" id = "sponsor1" >

    Hello
    It won't work, you bind the data of the hashmaps key, which does not work (you have a vo as the key)
    I believe that your structure should be something like

    [QuestionAnswer] where QuestionAnswer has the label of the Question as well as a map of string, the string (AnswerId v/s AnswerText) (this may be an implicit method that traverses all objects and creates a map of AnswerId, AnswerText) and a single field of selectedAnswer.

    Your outer loop will make a loop on QuestionAnswer and print the label of the Question and the inner loop will be the RadioButtonGroup, the data source must be the field of selectedAnswer (because you want to fill only) and the optionsDataSource is the AnswerId card, AnswerText

    You seem to always have the same problem, but give it different titles. It would be much easier that you would hold a thread open until its resolved. The last time you had this problem that I posted the following code, it didn't help you? (Replace x and y in each if or ELSIF with the calendar you want to watch)

  • How to change the status of business published in unprecedented process process?

    Hello

    I had created a new business process and published it.

    But I wanted to change the shape and remove undesirable element of form data.

    Then I changed BP in draft status and made change.

    But again once when I'm changing the status of BP as finished, it is in error "published form contains < element > and is removed from the upper form"

    How to solve this problem?

    Or how can I remove the item published BP form data form and publish it again?

    Hello 1001854,

    Once the BP has been published, you are unable to delete the existing data items. You will need to do is to move the you do not want to see more in a hidden block.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to get the data in the table if the date is less - than two months from the current date?

    Hi all

    I have a requirement in to retrieve table data. If any of the basic date in the column data.

    I have a date field (expiration date) I need to display data which expires two months.

    Please give me a solution.

    Concerning

    Shankar

    Hi, Shankar,

    Sorry, we don't know what you want.

    If you want something which, when executed on March 13, 2014, finds all the lines where expires and is located between March 13, 2014 and may 13, 2014, inclusive,

    SELECT *- or whatever the columns that you want to

    FROM table_x

    WHERE expire > = TRUNC (SYSDATE)

    Maturity AND< add_months="" (trunc="" (sysdate)="" ,="" 2)="" +="">

    ;

    I hope that answers your question.

    If not, post a small example data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and also publish outcomes from these data.

    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.

    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

  • non-existent display data through the union in obiee answers

    Hi all

    Someone has tried to use the fake fact table to display non-existent data in the MDB at layer where there is hierarchy of dimension tables? If I remove the hierarchy of dimension tables, then I can display all records using the column of the fake facts table which has Cartesian joins with dimensions. Is there a work around for this issue?
    Thank you

    Sushil

  • Overview of the data in the service Console Regional on the client machine generates an error.

    When I saw the data in the Regional (version 11.1.1.4) service console on a client workstation, I get a "cannot sign in the field. "Error of initialization of the ORB.java.io.FileNotFoundException: domain.db (access is denied)" error. Now, if I use the client URL to Admin Console on the same computer am able to preview the data correctly. Also when I saw the data on the client installed on the server can't correctly preview data. Just when I use the Admin console client installed on a workstation, I get this error. Any suggestions?

    Thank you
    Ted.

    TimG says:
    I certainly say it is your problem (I don't even know how to see / control when installing local vs. web-Launcher finds Java, or if indeed there is a difference) but I think it's plausible enough to a test value

    In 11.1.1.3 the Regional (not the web version) service console will resume java installed on the machine, if Java has not been installed it will use the settings in the admincon.lax file for example lax.nl.current.vm=E:\Hyperion\common\JRE\Sun\1.5.0\bin\java.exe
    So basically if you have installed Java 1.6 it will pick up and use that otherwise it will use the default JRE INSTALLED with Hyperion. The web console needs a version of Java installed in order to use Java Web Start.
    And I agree to have a different version of Java that sustained can cause problems using the Regional service console.

    See you soon

  • Choose the date of the table

    Hello

    It comes to my table
    CREATE TABLE TEMP_LEAP
      (
        "DATE_FROM" DATE
      )
    Insertion of the data in it with the procedure which takes 2 parameters of date format:
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    PROCEDURE  "T_PROC" (p_dat_from date, p_dat_to date) IS
    BEGIN

    DECLARE

      day       number     := 0;
      st           NUMBER := 0;

    BEGIN

    day := p_dat_to+1 - p_dat_from;

    for p in 1 .. day

    loop

       insert into temp_leapp (date_from) values (p_dat_from+st);

        st := st+1;

    end loop;

     commit;
    END;
    END;
    Now lets fill in the data in the table:
    execute T_PROC(TO_DATE('01.01.2010','DD.MM.YYYY'),TO_DATE('17.08.2013','DD.MM.YYYY'));
    Data are now filled in the table.

    I want to do is do a select statement that will make the following output data:
    01.01.2010 - 31.12.2011
    01.01.2012 - 31.12.2012
    01.01.2013 - 17.08.2013
    I want is to get the leap year if there is a. I only need of days in the year, so don't mind the months.

    I need to check if there is a leap year in considering the p_dat_from and p_dat_to.

    If it isn't then you will get a single record of our instruction select and values will be made of: p_dat_from - p_dat_to.

    If there is a leap year in our period we will arrive after statements (example above).

    01.01.2010 - 31.12.2011 <-first date is p_dat_from and second is the last day before the leap year
    01.01.2012 - 31.12.2012 <-this is leap year. First date is the beginning of the leap year and the last date is the end of the leap year or p_date_to (if it ends in leap years).
    01.01.2013 - 17.08.2013 <- and this is the period after the leap years.

    It is a piece of code that I fell or with up to now:
    SELECT
    MIN(date_from),
    MAX(date_from)
    FROM temp_leap
    WHERE remainder(to_number(to_char(date_from,'yyyy')),4) = 0
    union

    SELECT

    MIN(date_from) over (partition by to_char(date_from,'yyyy')),
    MAX(date_from) OVER (PARTITION BY to_char(date_from,'yyyy'))
    FROM temp_leap
    WHERE remainder(to_number(to_char(date_from,'yyyy')),4) <> 0

    ORDER BY 1,2;
    OK, that's all. I hope that its understandable that I do.
    If you have a questions please ask away.

    PS is there anything I need to do. You don't have to bother with the questions "what i February is after before etc." I don't love about it. All the other logic is already fixed all I need is what I wrote above.

    Thank you.
