dataacq.h?

Hi all

I installed NiDAQmx 9.6.1 (it takes FOREVER!) and I still can't find the dataacq.h file so I can recompile a project of the former so that it works on a recent version of Windows.

Installation in case of failure or what? All positions said it's part of NiDAQ (which I remember using) and NiDAQmx is compatible. I don't NiDAQmx.h, but no other header file.

dataacq.h is part of the traditional OR DAQ software: you must install it as well if you need functions declared in this file. As in one program, you can not run both daqmx and traditional daq, install this last is useless.

  • Application Builder-how to get rid of the savings going to project after generation?

    Hello

I'm using LabView to project continuous integration with Jenkins. I have a vi that runs test cases is build of the project, then bed information on the results of Jenkins.

After a success, there is a warning that I have unsaved changes in the project that I wanted to build. This message is to close labview and jenkins of the display of the results

Here I found information about this warning at the first "Note".

How to get rid of this warning, or save changes automatically, so that I don't have to click 'Save' after each generation?

    Thank you

First of all, you don't want to get rid of this warning. It is this backup which makes the work number version auto-incrémentées. LV has to save the new version number in the project.

Yes, you can make a backup. Somewhere, to do the code LV, who runs a program generation. At the end of this process, you need to save the project. There is a method to do project.

I wrote a small program for me to open a project, perform the selected builds and copy the installer resulting in a USB key.

  • Error symbol undefined using sample code

I am using code samples to generate once per second pulse but get the following errors when you try to compile:

Symbol not defined "_RegisterWinMsgCallback@24" referenced in "dataacq.lib".

Symbol not defined "_UnRegisterWinMsgCallback@4" referenced in "dataacq.lib".

Symbol not defined "_GetCVIWindowHandle@0" referenced in "dataacq.lib".

Some files which includes the example are:

    NIDAQEX. C

    NIDAQEX. H

Thanks in advance for your help.

I just logged in to tell the truth you, your last post is on-site.  I created an application that uses the DAQmx features and everything seems to work.  Thank you for having called me in the right direction.

  • Traditional DAQ in multiple versions of the CVI

I need to support some older programs in our manufacturing space. These programs are written in a few different versions of the CVI, but they also use traditional DAQ. I can't get multiple versions of the CVI to work with Tradtional DAQ.

I installed CVI 8.1 and then installed the TDAQ. I was able to open one of my projects that was compiled previously in this environment, and everything seems to work properly. I then installed CVI 9.0. Initially, he couldn't find the header for the TDAQ files, then I pointed to the 8.1 CVI include the folder. The project has managed to compile, but it does not link. I was looking for a library to be added to the project, but I couldn't find an obvious tdaq.lib.

Should what file I add to get this link?

Note: We need to build in the same environment due to validation rules. If I build a program in the same environment, just to do a small test to make sure that my little change does not adversely affect anything. If I build in a more recent environment, then I need to run a complete verification throughout the application process, which is a tedious process. Management does not like to take the line down for a day or two, while I validate the application of 'new '.

OK, so I can understand that you now TDAQ installed in CVI9 and not present in cvi8.

If so, copy the following files from dossier\sous-folder to the corresponding CVI8 one CVI9:

\bin\ all the files dataacq.* and easyio.*

    EasyIO.lib and \extlib\ dataacq.lib

    \include\ dataacq.h; EasyIO.h; nidaqcns.h; nidaqerr.h; olderror.h; regdefs.h
