• Date fields and time to autopopulate when opening the PDF

  I have an interactive PDF form with many fields. Two of them are the date and time. Users want that date fields and the time to complete the form to the current date and time (let's call it 'generic form') is open to fill. When they are made by filling out the form, they need to be activated for the reader so they can save it under a different name (Information of Dave). If they reopen "Information of Dave" for some reason, the date and time must not change. If they open the generic form for another client, then the new date and time should appear. I saw a discussion for Javascript to auto to a date, but not an hour. My Javascript skills are limited, so be specific enough about where to put the code.

  I'm trying to get a very large data set and the desired behaviour is that it continues to function without exception of lack of memory (that is, it's good that it takes days but don't blow up on out-of-memory exception) *.
  The task runs on a 64-bit with 16 processors computer.
  
  For testing purposes, I used a table 35 GB in size (of course this would not be our typical fetch but just to emphasize JDBC)

  There is one thing to go too far. You won't push ever that a lot of data in memory at a time, which seems to happen due to the vector between the two. The amount of objects that must be created would be already staggering.

  Best is to use a result set and browse results instead, treat the rows one at a time, or maybe a batch. Who will use only as much memory as necessary to keep a line / a lot of lines in memory unless the driver not just preloading of magic.

  With little experience of Adobe I was tasked to create a set of PDF forms to use in my company. I drew using Pro forms, but I need a digital signature field that will fill a separate date field at the signing and also disable some of the fields in the form. For the moment I can get it to do one or the other, but I can't do both.

  Is there a script that I can use for these functions?

  As you have probably seen, there is an option on the signing tab to run a script when a digital signature is applied.

  Do what you have described what follows can be used (of course, you have to adapt the name of the field):

  Unfortunately, searching for contacts through the touch screen is limited in the number of fields, it can browse. The available fields are Email address, first name, last name, and company. Unfortunately cannot be added to this list additional fields. If you need to find contacts by values in other areas, Segmentation would be the only solution.

  You need to expand the PDF form using Adobe LiveCycle Designer if you want to be able to connect to a database.

  And Yes, it should be possible to use the file in Adobe Reader after that.

• How to find a custom date field?

  I'm trying to recover contacts based on the value in a custom date field, and I can't get the search function to work. It works fine for me with other custom fields, for example this query:

  / data / contacts? Search = C_Job_Role1 = * HR & depth minimum = & count = 5

  Returns all contacts whose ends the Job role in HR properly. However, if I try the same thing with a date field, for example this query:

  contacts / data /? Search = C_Contract_Expiration_Date1 = * 1 * & depth minimum = & count = 5

  I get a response with the http 500 code - it's an internal server error, so presumably that choke the server when asked to perform a search on a date field.

  Is there a way to do this?

  I ran a few tests and it seems that endpoint to search as standard format (MM/DD/YYYY) date type, not deal with time at the time of unix. The following query (example) will work: C_Contract_Expiration_Date1 = 01/04/2012

  I'm sorry for the initial response. There are some points of endpoints that use the time unix for types date, and we will be more cautious about calling the difference in each context.

  I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a bunch of text boxes that are used as date fields, IE. defined as the format "dd-mm-yyyy". However, they must ALSO allow "N/a" to type / or pre-filled in them but nothing else.

  I guess that the date format must be defined as javascript rather than in properties, but everyone is able to point me in the direction of the code that I need to use?

  The last function is simply a customized version of the integrated a (AFDate_KeystrokeEx), but renamed, so it is not in conflict.

  I have a web page called quality which has several records on it with several people connected to it at the same time, update. I'm trying to update a date field and it works, but then if I try to erase it and update, it is not update it a Null value. When I put in the code to try to update as a null in the update request, he puts a date of 01/01/00 in the field for some reason any and also updates the other fields empty to this day.   Andy,

  A couple of things to think about:

  1. Are the date columns in your database that is configured to accept null values?
  2. The database recognizes dates into the format that your users do not penetrate into the (i.e.: "d/m/yy")?

  You should be able to use similar logic to null cfqueryparam = on your form field data.  CF_SQL_DATE will tell your database the value passed is a date, and not another type of data.

  Yes, you use the date object JavaScript extract fields of the whole of the year and the month, create a common denominator for the month and year, and do the math.
