  Is it possible to do a find and replace in the names of files, rather than the office or similar?  I have a large list of names of files that all have a problem with them I want to replace, but I don't want to pass by and do each manually!  A better way to do it?

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

  Select the files in Windows Explorer, press and hold Shift and right click on them. Choose copy from the menu in the path. Paste the list in any editor you prefer. You get the full path for each file, but a simple find/replace will clean up if necessary.

• Is there a program to locate and replace the missing files in Win XP Pro 64 and the dll?

  I am running Win XP Pro 64 SP 2, on xfx 680i LT MoBo, Intel Duo Core 3 GHz. My computer is seen adapts to any time and stutters a lot, and sometimes I confuse it so it sits and wonders every day. When I see autorun (Sys Internals) I find several file not found entries. The same thing happens with Malware Bytes and HiJack This. Is there a program that will search for files or corrupt links and repair; missing it works? Thank you all. Merry Christmas.

  Hi, I worked on it for a few days now and can't seem to make it work. I read through the tutorials page Trent Mueller, etc., but it does not work just the way I need to. I'm really starting to get a little goofy to manually place images based on finding the unique product code. I'd appreciate any help really.

  As Nick suggested, you can use only 1 operation instead of 2 = operations.

  Instead of IF, you can use CASES.

  Using regular expressions, you can also search for 'E' or 'G' at the same time, like this:

  I have a requirement where I need to find and replace the delimited string values.

  For example, the string is "GL ~ 1001 ~ 157747 ~FEB-13~ CREDIT ~ A ~ N ~ US ~ NULL ~". The 4th column gives the month and year. I need to replace it with the name of the previous month. For example: "GL ~ 1001 ~ 157747 ~JAN-13~ CREDIT ~ A ~ N ~ US ~ NULL ~". I need to do the same thing for the past 12 months.

  I thought initially divide the values and store it in a variable and then after him substituting the value required, join the return.

  • I am running Windows 7 for packs SP 1 or SP 2 does NOT solve my problem since neither one works with Windows 7.  Is there a way to search for this MUI (Multiple User Interface) missing file? The every thing must have himself installed in the first place. I took my mom (she died in June) and my brother on this PC as users so even if they do not use this PC supports multiple users. Maybe if I deleted as a reboot and additional users it will solve my problems. My updates install OK but I can't run at all system restore. It creates a restoration point OK but when I try to sr back to a restore point before I get the error 0x80073AFC topic of the missing MUI file. Then, when I spear SR it is said that he could not and no files have been changed because of the error 0x8000FFFF error, unspecified catastrophic failure and could not retrieve the file several times when system restore is attempted.

    OK I tried everything and nothing works! Only added beginners are updated browser Opera 10.63; IE9 (Beta); Firefox 3.6.12 and Google Chrome 7.0.517.41 and Java 22. Of course like everyone else in the world, I had to uninstall/enable and disable/download again and reinstall new Adobe Flash 10 and 11 of the shock wave and they keep crashing too! Hello 4 keep screwing browsers and now I get connection network problems. I run Comcast doctor and did everything it said to do, but nothing works. Oh and I added 7-Zip and WinZip also. • In Vista, it is possible to find and replace a specific name that I used many files on the hard drive?

  My apologies if someone already asked this (I couldn't find the answer however). I used the name of a person to dozens of (mostly Word) documents that are kept in many different files on my hard drive. I know that I can dig each document separately and then use hidden word and replace the tool to change the name. But this will inevitably take time. Is it possible to do a through - computer find and replace so that I don't have to do this exercise once? Any help gratefully received. Thank you.

  In the find and Replace dialog box, there is a tab object. You can find your line by its attributes and change. I suggest the setting up and style object and replace all your lines of this style. In this way, the next time you need to change them, you can change the style.

  Regarding the copy of a style of an InDesign document to another. You can just copy something to the style and paste it into the document you want to move to.  (This will not work if the style of the same name exists in the file you are pasting to. In this case, your stuck item would take on the attributes already defined in the new file).

• Design mode missing of the new editor find and replace of RoboHelp?

  Just, I started using RoboHelp 10 and was excited about the new find and replace feature. However, it seems to force the user to change in the HTML Editor (which is very difficult when the subject has tables). Am I missing some preference settings?

  The only solution seems to be to find a topic track in the project manager list and open in normal mode.

  Search and replace in files (as opposed to a single subject) has always been at the HTML level.

  If you do not use this feature update, do not use the field contains, unless you want to fuck your project farewell. See help Rh10 on my site.

  (\\+?) will never return more than 1 backslash because the? is telling to find the shortest match. {I would change that to each (\) or (\\{2)}

• The powerful ' find and replace ' features are missing pages

  It would be good if the development team of Pages read the questions and the problems posted on the apple Support communities.

  Find and replace invisible characters (tabs, returns, etc.) have disappeared in the Pages for older versions.

  Other researchers suggest that the functions are in the NON Apple software. Duh. TextEdit not more and not pages. Disappointing, can not describe the feeling.

  The new Apple:

  There is that one thing I use 5 Pages for: drawing, which can be fun in its limits. As a designer, I like he is aligned with the alignment that makes things very fast for me. Unfortunately, other sucks.

  Pages ' 09 is pretty horrible at drawing but great for the layout and productivity. The contrast between the two is remarkable, when I switch between them. If only I could have 5 Pages, in Pages ' 09 drawing tools, I could happily mix 5 Pages completely and be totally unaware of anything that does not work or works so badly she may as well not exist.

  2016 is coming with the editor of affinity, I hope it turns out as well as the designer of the affinity and Photo of affinity, but doubt that it will be the combination of WP, PAO and spreadsheet that makes Pages ' 09 so awesome to work with.

  I have search and replace about 12 acronyms on each page, and I was wondering if I can create a search and replace the query that includes all my acronyms or do I have to manually run these 12 single queries every time?
