• Beginner: Question of Date validator on live docs example.

  Study this example below raise questions, I can not find easy answers for in the livedocs.

  1.) why do we need (just a structure object) model? In the date validator I note that we can not put source = "{dateInput.tyext}" "

  2.0) the model has an id of "alternateDate", this change makes no difference.

  2.1) connected to question 2, how dateValidator uses model because it has no reference to the model.

  3.) don't the code below work when you have more than 1 effective date, do you need a model and a separate validator date for each date entry field? This creates a circular problem as there seems to be a link between the dateValidator implicit and model... confused. This means that I have no way to link the models to date validators.

• data flow problem, queuing Subvi primary VI

  Ive stuck on a very simple data flow problem here, I would like to convey the data queued in the Subvi and dequeue in the main loop of the vi consumer.   Your Subvi makes no sense since your loop will always leave after the first iteration and you always initialize your counter to 0 whenever run you it. This is a problem.

  Your code also suffers from several places that are made by the queue data. You will get undeterministic behavior since you do not know which dequeue will get the first data. In general, for a producer/consumer using the architecture queued one or more loops loops should be given enqueueing to the queue. A single loop must be made of data. These loops shuold run in parallel to each other. In your code, you can only run your Subvi whenever you press the Start button and as said you will always show the value 1 to the queue. What you need to do, is to have your Subvi managed independently once it is started. Use "Start Asychronous CAll" to start your Subvi when the Start button is pressed then let it just run. Have it post the meter to the queue. Your lower loop in main VI should remove the values and display them. You need not wait in this lower loop since it is the purpose of the dequeue. This loop will be inactive if there is no current data and run only when the data is in the queue.

  In the upper loop of your VI main remove the dequeue and the queue. You don't need them as the Subvi is all that is necessary to validate the data in the queue.

• Using the Dynamic Range name in the Data Validation

  Maybe it's the time of day but I'm being a little dimwit here!

  I use = OFFSET(Data!$G$5,0,0,Vlastrow,1) for the range name Tbl_Names.  When I select F5 to check that the range is highlighted it seems everything is in order.

  On a leaf, I have a Data Validation that uses a list where the Source is = Indirect ($G$ 7).  G7 is the text "Tbl_Names".  The table of Validation and the content of the G7 is on the same sheet.

  Where am I going wrong please?

• Export to spreadsheet does not show the formatting data Validation rules

  Currently in Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.3, have basic color formatting based on Data Validation rules. However, when you use the option export to a worksheet, the Formatting disappears.

  Understand the connection to Hyperion planning is kept only on Smart View, if she will not apply export on the worksheet?

  I think that the formatting will be lost during the selection of the option export spreadsheet because it is about a raw format, if you want to format would be preferable to use the Smart View method.

• Data Validation rule

  Hi all
  
  I put a rule in my form of data validation, as follows,
  
  If the current cell value = 0 then the cellular processes like the color green.
  
  After applying the condition above, I opened my data form but its green display, even for the cells that contain null values.
  
  How can I avoid it. Kindly guide me to overcome.

  Hi all:
  I have 5 tables of rules on my profile data. I have many FK
  CUENTA FK ANNUITY
  FK EXENTO CUENTA
  CUENTA FK CONTRATO
  FK TIPO_IMPUESTO ANNUITY
  When to create data in step 4 correction (Data Validation rule) and mistake to see the:
  VLD-0202: duplicate foreign keys detected bettween FK_64 and FK71
  VLD-0202: duplicate foreign keys detected bettween FK_65 and FK72
  VLD-0202: duplicate foreign keys detected bettween FK_66 and FK73
  But I have no whit FK this name, because I have rename the FK with another more representative name of the word.
  How then-FK corresponds to this error?
  I have delete all FK profile and returned to generate the data correction, but the error continue...

• Problem with date validation

  My table contains a column whose name is "time". This column type is DATE and the date format ' DD-MON-YYYY HH24 ". My problem is that I have no idea of how to write well validate the condition to insert in my table only the dates, hours are between 08:00 and 16:00.

• Transfer config data refnum problem

  I have problem of storage and transfer of value of refnum of configuration data.

  Do not use run continuously.  It is designed for purposes of debugging, not to run your code normally.  If you need your code to continue to operate, put in a while loop (with a sort of timer loop as the function of waiting (ms), while it is not run as fast as possible and consume all your CPU time).  The use of "Continuous run" is like hitting the button run over and over, and some things reset each time you press the run button.  For example, whenever a first level VI ends, all the references he opened - queues, file references, TCP connections, etc. - are closed and become invalid.  This is what you see - whenever the VI ends, it closes the file, so well that the refnum still contains a value, that value is therefore more a reference valid to a file.  Use some time to keep your code running in a loop instead, and it will do what you want.

• Windows Validation problem

  I'm trying to find the right date conversion/validation. The problem is that I get as string(dd-Mon-yy) format date in a text file. I need to load it into an Oracle table in the form of text, then post the text as a date is valid.
  
  I can check the day and year. But how to check the month. If the date is * 1 April 11 * it's OK but if it is as * ODA / 01/11 * so how to check the string of months is one channel of 12 months. I mean from January to December.
  
  If I use the conversion to this day, I get the error ORA-1843.

• Form validation problem

  I cannot using the form validate of Dreamweaver and the Yaromat check form. Here's what's happening.
  
  With the form validation of Dreamweaver, I pointed out the form tag, go to the Insert menu and select validate the form. He brings to the top of the box, but there is no way to save the selections and options. If it is supposed to be a save button, it isn't here.
  
  When I try the Yaromat extension, when I go to save my selections, I get an error message that says:
  "This change should change the code which is locked by a model or a translator. The changes will be rejected. »
  
  I do not use a template, then nothing should be locked.

  I think I solved this problem. It seems that after the upgrade to version 8.0.2, on a page that will have a form that requires validation, you cannot use SSI calls (in php).

  So I replaced all SSI calls with the actual data, just for this page. The form then properly validated using the extension Yaromat check form.

  Built in form to validate Dreamweaver does not always show a way to save the settings, so I don't know if this would work also.
