  • Problem with apex.navigation.popup.url and the symbol + (more)

    Hello
    I use Apex 4.2.6.00.03 in an Oracle DataBase 11g.

    I want to show in a popup over information about a line in a report, to do this, I use apex.navigation.popup.url JavaScript function to open an apex page and set a variable in this page with the ROWID of the register, the url is

    JavaScript:apex.navigation.Popup.URL ('f? p = & APP_ID.:59: & SESSION.: P59_ROWID: #ROWID #');

    It works fine, but when the ROWID contains a symbol '+', it is replaced with a space when the value is set to the article and the code that uses this value returns an error.

    Oracle Docs the ROWID can have letters, numbers and symbols '+' and ' / ', I tested it with "/" and it works fine.

    I could use the replace to replace the space with a '+', but I want to know if this can be corrected in the URL, and what other symbols he affects.

    Thank you

    That's why I only spend the alphanumeric key values as URL parameters. It could affect all the reserved characters in the URL.

    Add a hidden column of ROWID_URL to the report query, that JavaScript and URL does not escape the ROWID value:

    select
       ...
     , apex_escape.js_literal(apex_util.url_encode(rowid), null) rowid_url
     , ...
    from
       ...

    and use this column in the column link URL:

    javascript:apex.navigation.popup.url('f?p=&APP_ID.:59:&SESSION.::::P59_ROWID:#ROWID_URL#');

  • The Web of XE/APEX Server installation

    Hello. Bare with me here, as I'm basically a SQL Developer and know little about web hosting.

    I have Oracle XE with APEX 3.0.1.00.08 installed at home on a WIN XE SP2 platform. With this, I keep a small database that stores blobs of reception and bills and others. In my view, there is an instance of Apache installed with XE install, so I was wondering if there is a way to use the web server to pages web host without going through the APEX builder application. I want to just host a few HTML/Flash pages that would be publicly accessible to anyone.

    Then everything first, is it possible?
    Is it safe? (I really don't want lose my database due to malicious or such attacks)
    Is as simple as placing the files in a directory, like how I would FTP files to a web ISP hosting services?

    Thanks for any input.

  • Report/print Set - up with Apex 3.1 and Oracle XE

    I am trying to set up my local computer to run: Oracle XE, Oracle APEX v.3.1, with OC4J to allow printing via Apache FOP. So far, I've got XE and APEX 3.1 works well, OC4J looks OK, and I sent the FOP with APEX .war file. But I don't know where to configure APEX to use service of FOP. The instructions to http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/configure_printing.html say:

    "Step 2: Configure Oracle Application Express to use JSP for PDF printing.

    Once you have the PFO installed, access settings to print the report:
    Access to the Services Administration Homepage
    Select manage Service
    Select Instance settings, under manage environment settings
    To focus on only the attributes to print the report, click Print report.

    But I can't find any 'parameters of Instance' or "Managing the environment settings" options in my APEX 3.1 admin screens (connection as SYS or any other user of the administrator). Can someone tell me how/where to find these?

    To be honest, maybe I'm missing something, but this approach seems a little weird to me. The main advantage of the APEX (which doesn't seem to be all that common here in the United Kingdom), is that you can build web applications based on the database quickly and easily without having to run a big fat J2EE server. If I have to run a J2EE server for my impression, I lose this advantage. Still, it would at least make it work on my local machine, so tips are welcome.

    You must log on as administrator using the internal workspace

  • Measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0

    People,

    Hello. I have implemented PeopleSoft Campus Solution 9.0 revision 5 for a University.

    I need to develop an application for Admission online for future student to apply for admission.

    My installations of PeopleSoft are below:

    Server machine: Oracle Linux 5.10 (64-bit)

    Client computer: Windows XP Professional (64 edition) with the Internet Explorer browser

    Architecture Internet Oracle Linux 5.10 Server:

    (1) database server: Oracle Database 11 g version 11.1.0.6.0 is

    (2) the server application: Tuxedo 11 g

    (3) web Server: Web Logic 10.3.6.0 and JDK 1.7.0_09

    (4) browser: Firefox Mozila

    (5) two Instances of huge database on the database server: 8.53 PeopleTools and Campus Solution 9.0.

    To develop the application for Admission online, I made the 4 parties with WebLogic 10.3.6 and JDK 1.7.0_09 as below:

    (1) install ADR (Application Development Runtime) 11.1.1.6.0 (64-bit)

    (2) install the RCU 11.1.1.6.0 to create the scheme of OWSM_MDS (32 bit)

    (3) create a WebLogic 'Domain_CS' domain in WebLgoic 10.3.6.0 in support of MARC 11.1.1.6.0.

    (4) install JDeveloper 11 g 11.1.1.6.0 Studio Edition including WebLogic 10.3.5.0.

    The development environment for the online application for Admission is JDeveloper 11 g 11.1.1.6.0 Studio Edition. I just installed this PeopleSoft system. I don't have any experience using it. The first step is to run the command:

    $./quickstart.sh

    JDeveloper 11g Quick Start Menu appears as below:

    1) start with WebLogic Server 10.3.5

    (2) launching Oracle JDeveloper 11 g

    (3) set up areas for Oracle ADF

    (4) access Oracle JDeveloper 11 g Documentation Online

    (5) domain upgrade to version 10.3.5

    (6) access online documentation

    I don't know the outline of comprehensive measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper. We will understand that it out by steps associated with Quick Start Menu.

    My questions are:

    (1) do I need to create or extend a field in WebLogic 10.3.5.0?

    (2) how to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper? How connect JDeveloper with WebLogic 10.3.5.0?

    (3) how to configure the domain for the ADF ADF being installed in another directory?

    (4) folk would provide the outline of measures to develop the Web Application with JDeveloper?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry, I don't work with AAWS or PeopleSoft products. You have searched on Google for samples?

    Ultimately AAWS are just web services that allows you to collect and send data. You create the user interface as you would for any web service based on the model layer. Start with samples for the integration of web services in the ADF to familiarize yourself with the process and then try to get some data of AAWS.

    Hi Devi b.

    Devi B says:

    I would use option to print pdf with APEX 5.0 and Oracle 12 c, what web listener configuration should I choose?

    If you want the port to listen web in APEX as print PDF, ADR 2.0 engine and later (last ADR 3.0) is a good option to consider:

    Reference:

    NOTE: The links are for APEX 4.2, but they still apply for APEX 5.0 and Oracle 12 c, if you plan to use ADR 2.0 and later versions.

  • Remove the left and right spaces with calculation

    I read in this forum that I can create a SQL expression calculation after 'Send' to remove the spaces to the left. I put in the source: ltrim(:P209_DESCRIPTION), but it did not work. You have another idea to achieve this? Thank you.

    Let us first find what you really use the following to replace all tabs with ' ~' and all the spaces with "%". This will give us a clearer picture of the characters that we have

    Select translate ('asd fd, chr (9) |) Chr (32),'~ %') of the double

    Then, we can use

    Select ltrim (: P209_DESCRIPTION, chr (9) |) Chr (32)) of the double

    for trim tabs and spaces

  • jUpload with Apex 3

    Is that what someone has successfully used jUpload with Apex 3?

    I got jUpload actually upload files in a directory on the server, but I can't seem to understand the next step...

    I need to be able to obtain the names of downloaded files so I can then load into the database...

    Someone at - it samples?

    We use jupload with apex listener. Listener of the apex, you could set up a model of resource http-post. The model of resource url is the url target of the jupload applet:

    <>
    Code = "wjhk.jupload2.JUploadApplet"
    name = "JUpload".
    Archive="/i/wjhk.jupload.jar".
    Width = "640".
    Height = "300".
    MAYSCRIPT = 'true '.
    ALT = "the pugin java must be installed." >

    Java 1.5 or higher plugin required.

    Definition of the resource with name 'download' model, type PL/SQL:

    Start
    Insert into table1 (contenttype, contentblob) values (: contentType,: body);
    commit;
    : status: = 200;
    exception when others then
    : status: = 500;
    end;

    We have changed the jupload applet to be able to transfer the file names as parameters to jupload to the listener of the apex.

  • Web services with Golden Gate

    Hello
    How to use Web Services with Golden Gate? Is there a document for the use of Web Services with Golden Gate?

    Thank you

    Messages are introduced into flat files, then you go on the road to flat file for loading the data.

    Messages are entered in the database, and you are regular GoldenGate-Land.

    There is no way, a message will be put directly into a trail; those are specific GG.

  • 5.6.3 (EBS) editor XML can be integrated with APEX?

    On the following document, Publisher 5.6.2 XMP supports no integration with APEX. Can I know 5.6.3? What is the product being an add-on with EBS causing the supporting integration (i.e., 5.6.3 even is not taken in charge)?

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/HTML/configure_printing.html

    Thank you
    Rownald

    APEX integrates with the standalone version of BI Publisher. It was not a component of server with the standalone 5.6.3. The integration is based on the editor providing a servlet for APEX contact, 5.6.3 do not have that.
    If you're talking 5.6.3 under EBS then I guess you could build a servlet on the mid-tier that calls the API conversion of BEEP - it would all be a custom job.

    The integration of the APEX needs 10.1.3.2 BEEP to work with out of the box.
