First configuration - downloaded the drivers from the manufacturers Web site.

On the installation of what I thought was the at and the latest driver, 2 problems...

1 - the installation says that I needed .net Dot 4

Downloaded and installed - Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (stand-alone Setup program)

2 - the second test video driver installation is finished - but - screens flickered and flashed like crazy.

I did correct anything that.

Wiped the hard drive and run through the steps above.

This time, making sure to use the original cd that came with the card of 2011. Result!

PS - In the first leg through after installing windows successfully, I did all the updates of Windows 7.

It took hours to download and install.

Second time, I did not bother with the Windows updates immediately.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have any questions using the CD/DVD drive in Windows 7 computer. We will certainly help you with the same.

I would like to know some more information on this issue to help you better.

    1. Are you able to access the other CD/DVD drive in Windows?
    2. You try to install the drivers for any device?
    3. When say "Windows send me error code (19)", you get this error message in Device Manager?

In the meantime, please follow the below suggestion to solve the problem.

The error code 19 occurs when data in the registry for the device and its driver were damaged.

  • WINDOWS 7 32 BIT CLEAN INSTAL

I bought 2 copies of Windows 7 Premium 32 bit to upgrade my desktop computer PC and netbook Windows XP.

The desktop PC is in place and work just fine but unfortunately I have badly damaged the surface of the second disk that I was going to use for the netbook.

My question is, can I use the unused COA code supplied with the disc that I've damaged and use it with the disk used to upgrade my desktop computer to upgrade my netbook or do I have to pay for another new drive?

You can use the product key from others with the other drive which is not scratched. It will work fine.

  • When installing: lack of Cd/DVD device driver ("A required CD/DVD drive driver is missing)

I get this on the screen of installation with the river digital iso home installation. Workaround solutions?

    Hey everybody,

I had this problem as well and I burned another copy of the ISO and it worked fine.

It seems that this message could be related to a bad disk, or a bad burn.

Try to burn the ISO again, you can try to use the Microsoft Store ISO burning tool (I used, works very well) located here:

    http://store.Microsoft.com/help/ISO-tool

If this does not work I would recommend to put the ISO on a USB key (using the same tool ISO link above) and try installing from the USB stick.

If you don't have a usb key that is large enough, the last step to try is to re-download the ISO and burn it again, we have seen some cases where ISO wasn't the right size and has proved to be an incomplete download / corrupt ISO.

    I hope this helps.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU SEE SUCCESS WITH THE ABOVE STEPS!

Probably the installation media itself is corrupt. If your Alienware is preinstalled with Windows 7, then you should be able to reinstall using the recovery partition:

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

To restore the image while preserving the data files:
    Turn off your computer.1.
Disconnect all devices connected to the computer (such as USB key, 2 printer and so forth) and remove any recently added hardware in-house. NOTE: Do not unplug the AC adapter cable.
    Turn on your ordinateur.3.
When the Alienware logo appears, press several times to access the 4. Advanced Boot Options window. NOTE: If you wait too long and the operating system logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Microsoft Windows desktop; then, shut down your computer and try again.
    Select 5. Repair your computer.
Select 6. AlienRespawn and backup emergency in the System Recovery Options menu and follow the instructions on the screen. NOTE: The restore process may take an hour or more depending on the size of the data to be restored. NOTE: For more information on AlienRespawn, see article 353560 at support.Dell.com knowledge base.

If the recovery partition does not work:

Step 1: Download a copy of Windows 7:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

Step 2: Perform a custom installation, see Windows 7 section of the following article how to perform a custom installation:

How to: perform a customized Windows installation

    Step 3:

    Hello

It's a shame you don't know the exact name of the virus

Malware can cause non-genuine messages appear

    but try this:

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.

Iso file of windows xp can directly be installed USB on a formatted hard drive?

    Not directly.

There is a SMALL chance that if your hardware supports it (unfortunately never say you anything on your PC or BIOS), you can boot from a USB stick or an optical drive and install Windows XP like this.
    But it is unlikely.
In addition, tell us what you mean by 'windows xp iso file. This is very vague, and we do not know what you are talking about.
