Deactivation of TXT on T410

VirtualPC requires TXT be disabled before it can be used, but the BIOS offers no possibility to do this. Is there another way to turn it off?

You may need to enable disable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) in the BIOS. Set it to inactive or disabled.

Ok.  I need to know which management option to use for the t410 and why there are two; no good documentation on explaining the differences.  We use both?  I've been playing with zero service HP Device Manager and customer.  Looks like Zero Client Services is a configuration all or nothing; which means that your limited to one profile and if you want to have different settings for other devices, you must create a structure of folders to MAC address.  Could turn into a nightmare when the count of device gets over 50 or more.

I am also unable to find any documentation on explaining how the image and push with Zero customer service packages.  There is not a management console for the zero customer service see all features that are deployed and easily allows the concealment, such as Device Manager.  Is there a rule of thumb to go when deciding on what management console to use?  Also where kits of Client for the zero customer service?  I need of advice and help on the update of the images, pushing packages, customer Kits and shadowing remote with Zero Client.  HP Device Manager seems to be explicit.

  • How can I get rid of a file e.txt which continues to appear. Is this a virus?

I've been on google mail and open an e-mail from one of my friends to watch his reume. I transfer over to windows, and while I was going to go to indeed.com , this file e.txt keeps asking me "I want to save it default notebook or open it." It won't go away. This isn't one of the file names that I opened before and I can't find this file anywhere. Is this a Virus? How can I get rid of him?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • How to restore passwords signons3.txt? And how works signons.sqlite?

I had to restore my operating system. I could get places.sqlite to restore the bookmarks (good!). I could find a signons3.txt (dated July 2013) this file will be not complete or up to date, but at least it puts me somewhere before.

I have read that I need a signon3.txt file to go with the key3. I don't have one. I found a file dated September 2014 signons.sqlite. I moved these two files in my profiles folder, but I don't fit my old password.

Is it possible for me to use the old key3? Do the key3 and sign must be dated the same thing? Is it possible to recreate the signons.txt?

    I have the password.

    Thanks for help.

Signons3.txt file store the encryption key used to encrypt and decrypt passwords.
Encrypted names and passwords are stored in the logins.json file.
The file signons.sqlite is no longer used in current versions since Firefox 32.

You must move the logins.json and key3db files in the current profile folder to retrieve passwords.

  • Why not send txt to help Outlook attached pdf files that arrive as winmail.dat

I send PDFs as email attachments Outlook to a list that includes my wife and myself. We use gmail and both use you bird as our customer on our home computer. His end like winmail.dat, while mine are fine. And hers is very good, although it is still in gmail. I tried to send these files by using the plain txt format in Outlook, but it does not help. What to do next?

I assume you mean Outlook, the program which is part of the office, rather than Outlook on the web, the new iteration of Hotmail and Live Mail.

There is an ancient framework in the address book since the first days of Outlook that allows you to specify a format for sending on a per recipient basis. It's hard to find now, but if you place the cursor to the recipient in the message header area and then open the Outlook properties, you can check that the recipient is not individually designated for Outlook Rich Text Format. I have attached a screenshot for reference to screen.

If this is not it, you could try Microsoft support forums, as it might be too obscure for this one.

  • Include a txt file (containing e-mail addresses) as name option in 'To' to send an email to multiple recipients individually

Thunderbird can be transformed into a mass mailing good software by having the possibility of allowing a txt file name in the field "to". The software then picks up each email address in the txt file and sends the email to each email address individually.

Most people keep a list of emails of 100 or 200 or so who they regularly send emails in format txt, or xls. This feature will help activate as the mailer mass of people using Thunderbird and send emails to the addresses in a txt or email xls file

Mailing software are usually about $50 and this feature will save people money.

  • Our clients have trouble downloading a text file (.txt) on our website version 33.0 (using a filestream);

Our clients have trouble downloading a text file (.txt) on our site version 33.0 (using a filestream). It worked well in previous versions.

The error message they get reads as follows:
{name of file and download user path} not can be saved, because the source file could not be read.

    Thank you
    Mike

It is an old relative to corrupted downloads (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Source_file_could_not_be_read) error message, but has become more widespread in Firefox 33.

To make a long story short... before, if the server sent a response which was smaller than the specified size, the gap has been ignored and the download was considered to be very good. From Firefox 33, a file that is smaller than the specified size is considered as being damaged.

  • Activation deactivation iCloud, photo sharing

On my iPhone I have iCloud library & My Photo off steam but iCloud Photo Sharing turned on.  To be honest, I don't know how iCloud Photo Sharing turned on - I do not use it.  I would like to disable now iCloud, photo sharing and return to the way it was with my own storage original iPhone.  When I go to disable the button from iCloud on my iPhone photo sharing it says that it will remove pictures of Commons of my camera (which is now all the photos I have on my iPhone).  My question is, is this really the case? Can't I just go back to the way (I think) is on the device before icloud, photo sharing has been enabled?

It must just be better worded. It references only the shared albums as separate from your actual film association. It removes nothing of your camera by activating / deactivating it turned off.

  • How to control the rendering of the tab character in a TXT file?

When I browse a TXT file, the tab character is rendered in order to look a lot like 8 places. Is there a way to control the apparent number of spaces in the rendering? Yes, I know that things like

                   pre { tab-size: 4 }

in CSS3 could control this number in the rendering of HTML elements, but I want a control similar to a TXT file.

Or if you want to use CSS, this bookmarklet will insert the style rule on the page:

    javascript:var r="pre{-moz-tab-size:4;}"; var s=document.createElement("style"); s.type="text/css"; s.appendChild(document.createTextNode(r)); document.body.appendChild(s); void 0;

(Note that at least for now, you must prefix-moz - on the size of tabs in Firefox.)

  • Is that a txt document is safe compared to pdf format?

I sent a pdf from my mac to someone earlier this week and told me

"Generally speaking plain text files - that have suffixes like .txt, .csv, .md. MDM (and others) - are the only really safe files. Files are too easy for the virus to hide in (Nothing in them but the characters in the file). "If that's the case why Apple prefer to use? I know News Groups prefer to use plain text and I told Visually Impaired people find easier to read, .txt then, why are they used by mac is they secure ant?

Plain text files are generally safer because they are not normally a way for the virus to settle. However sometimes files will claim to be plain text files by placing two file extensions.

    thisisafile.txt <-this is a normal text file

thisisnotafile.txt.exe <-this is a file infected with the virus masquerading as a txt file

This affects really only Windows machines. If they are configured to not display the usual file extension, and then the .exe is 'hidden' and only the .txt little shows and this as is planned then deceive the user. As I said this really only affects Windows computers.

PDF files are used because they may contain a formatted document in a more complex way. A text file is, literally, plain text, no fonts, no sizes of fonts, bold and italics and certainly no pictures. A PDF file can contain tables, charts, images, color, multiple fonts and look like a good book.

  • Easy way to remove excess line breaks in txt, html, and epub files?

Transfer to my e-reader to read web pages. I have to convert everything in epub, because the PDF files and djvus are designed for larger screens, and txt and html are not displayed correctly.

In any case, some pages have a lot of extra newlines that are arranged for larger screens.

I have to remove the line breaks to make it readable. I know that DevonTech wordservice works in txt, which I can convert it to Epub. Is there something that works in Epub itself? Is there something else that works in txt?

    Thank you.

INTHE html, these line breaks appear to be either < br / > or < br / > where the paragraph breaks are < p >. So, it seems easier to edit files ePub in the editor, as the iWrite series Epub or the caliber, that the modification of the txts.

  • Import a txt in figures

I have a txt file with a lot of data in what I want to analyze by number. How can I import it.

I can change it to a file cvs by using find and replace, then changing the extension of the file, but that imports all the data as a single column.

Is there a way to do this?

What the data in the file look like?  Separated by commas?  Separated by tabs?
