HM. Are you using Dreamweaver 8 with the update that applies the patch, or
above (which Nancy O. approaches also in this thread)? I use the same code
to your above, with DW patch applied, and it works fine in IE 7 and
valid. This version of Dreamweaver or more you will be asked if you want the

to download the script that DW puts in a subdirectory of your site.

  • Firefox LAGS like hell with Flash

    OK, here's the deal.

After a long use Firefox starts trolling like crazy with Flash. And... It doesn't seem to be a problem with Flash. It is more likely that the browser itself which is the origin of the problem.

After that, I use Firefox for some time Flash begins badly trolling. BUT! This only happens if I have my current Firefox window. If I open the Task Manager on the top of the Firefox window, Flash stops late as if Harry Porter himself has cast a spell with his wand magic everything that works like a charm.

I made a small video featuring the bug: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l2c5pbn1xwy58dc/12-11-2012%2019-07-15.avi

-The bug persists even in SafeMode (all addons disabled).

-With hardware acceleration disabled in Flash bug remains.

-With the Chrome and other browsers, everything works fine.

-The bug will disappear after restart - and then will begin to appear after Firefox has been used for some time.

-Normally it reappears after that I close the lid of my laptop, forcing them to go into sleep mode. After he wakes up - the bug is there.

-There's not a bug in the past - he began to appear new versions of Firefox are put - do not know the exact version, but I guess it all started since version 14 or 15.

    Any thoughts?

    > disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions

Seems like it helped. Thank you!

  • Why Flash cookies are not deleted the first time I'm leaving Firefox?

I am running XP, Firefox 16.0.1 and Flash Player 11.4.402.287 and have Firefox configured to 'Clear history of Firefox closing', with 'Cookies' (among others) checked "settings to erase history. I also have Flash Player configured to "Block all sites to store information on this computer."

As I understand it, from Firefox 4 and Flash Player 10.3, have Firefox configured in this way should cause cookies Flash should be deleted out of Firefox. I also understand that even though I have Flash configured as I do, a list of websites that try to plant a cookie Flash is always recorded in the main settings.sol cookie.

I noticed, however, that this list of empty Flash cookies is not removed the first time I have quit Firefox; on the contrary, the list is deleted after launch and then leaving Firefox again.

    Here is a step-by-step example:

    (1) Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage tab-> storage Local to Site-> button settings confirm that the list is empty

    (2) output, that manage Flash Player settings

    (3) launch Firefox-> go to http://www.Hulu.com/ and click on a video to start playing

    (4) recovery Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> Local website storage settings... tab button-> make sure that the list indicates http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (5) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (6) Firefox exit

    (7) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (8) leave the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (9) restart Firefox

    (10) raise Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST SHOWS AGAIN http://www.Hulu.com/, 0 bytes, block

    (11) exit the Flash Player Settings Manager

    (12) exit Firefox

    (13) stimulus Control Panel-> Flash Player-> storage-> storage settings Local to Site-> NOTE THAT THE LIST IS now EMPTY

Once again, my question is - why this list is not emptied the first time around?

Safe mode disables plugins, I think not, so that you can put those aside for now.

I suggest disable all non-essential extensions. We all tend to accrue to those who are not really necessary. You can do so here:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > category: Extensions

If the kernel extensions, you really like the cause of the same problem, then I think you will have to just live with it. Please note that Flash is followed correctly your bet as a block, so I don't think that something is actually stored.

  • How to deal with operating system windows 8.1 and apps on usb device

Hi, I have a laptop Lenovo G505. Windows 8 64-bit was preinstalled in it. Later, I upgraded to 8.1. Laptop is almost 9 months and still under warranty. Since a few days, built Lenovo solution Center alert this analysis of hardware detected failures in one or more devices. On suggestion of Lenovo, I ran hdtune pro app in my machine and it also detected 3 hard drive errors. As my machine is under warranty, Lenovo is ready to replace my hard drive with a new one. But they say that it is the responsibility of the customer to return the windows 8.1 operating system and install in the new drive and their liability is limited to the replacement of the hard disk only. I am not computer savvy and I request concerned to guide me how to deal with operating system windows 8.1 on external media like USB, DVD, and install in the new drive. I also installed a number of apps and paid games. Therefore, I would like to resume these games also files so that I need not buy again. Assistance in this regard is required.

    Hello Mohan,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I can of course understand the situation and will be happy to help with your query.

    Let me ask you;

    • You have the key product for Windows 8 or 8.1?

You can create an installation media (DVD/USB) for Windows 8.1 and re-install when you want. However, in order to create an installation media for Windows 8.1, you need the product key. If you don't have the product key for Windows 8.1, you can not create installation media.

You can create the installation media for Windows 8 by using the product key Windows 8 If you have. In this case, install you Windows 8 first and then go to Windows 8.1 through store.

As far as your paid apps (purchased by store) are concerned, you should be able to install them as soon as you sign in with the same Microsoft Account where apps were purchased.

You can see the steps indicated by Ronnie Vernon replied on 24 December2013, re - install paid apps.

You can follow the steps below to create installation media.

    1. Run the program Windows 8.1 configuration or installation of Windows 8 (depending on the availability of the product key for the specific operating system.
    2. When you are prompted to run or save the file, choose run

    3. When you are prompted to enter a product key, enter the 25-character product key, that you received when you purchased Windows 8.1 (or Windows 8).

    4. When you are prompted to install Windows 8.1 (or Windows 8), select install by creating media and then click Next.

    5. Select the type of media you want to use: either a Flash DRIVE or a DVD.

To create a USB flash drive

    1. Click on the USB flash drive.

    2. Plug the USB key into a USB port on your PC.

    3. When you are prompted, select the USB key that you want to use, and then click Next.

If you have files on the USB flash drive, it will remove them.

    To create a DVD

    1. Click on the ISO file , and then select the location where to save the ISO file.

    2. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD drive.

    3. Burn the ISO of the DVD file using Windows disc Image burner, or another program DVD burning.

Note: Ensure that the USB or DVD key that you use has nothing else stored on it and has a sufficient free space to download the Windows 8.1 Installer: about 2.3 GB for the 64-bit version.

You can also read the article below to create a USB stick recovery.

    Create a recovery USB disk

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

    Thank you.

  • "Flash cookies" are not saved

    Hello

    I use Windows 7 SP1 + IE11 with flash version 14.0.0.176 (language: French).
    New installation.

Flash files/cookies are not saved. It is visible in the flash games: Save do not work.

I found a test on this site: IE10 Test Drive demo: Flash Cookies which shows all saved flash cookies on my PC.

I searched several forum without finding any solution.

For example: I checked in the control panel of the flash, this web site are allowed to save the file. I checked that an "infinite" amount of storage is also permitted. I've seen similar topics, unanswered in this forum. I searched the file from the GROUND, but they never appear.

But maybe I missed something. I'd appreciate a solution!

The fact that the C:\users directory is redirected (link) to another location to do something?

Additionally, some flash apps work at all. A few videos embedded in the information site do not begin for example. Some games are starting to launch, but never start.

    Thanks in advance!

    Joe

I now had the chance to try this and it does not work for me. Seems that my installation of Flash is really messed.

I edited the mms.cfg in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash. There now:

    SilentAutoUpdateEnable = 0

    AutoUpdateDisable = 0

    EnableInsecureJunctionBehavior = 1

Mode of enhanced protection in Internet Explorer is not verified.

    I restarted the computer.

And I still have the same problem of creation of the cookie. I get no error message, but the cookie does not appear. Flash seems eager to create directories for the sites I visit, but I have no file cookie in them.

Please try to fix this. Looks like it is time to try to place my junction point and move everything on the C: drive. Maybe, I'll try to uninstall and reinstall Flash once more...

  • Help with Flash 10.3 settings

I have a pretty silly question.  Third-party flash cookie settings can be managed anywhere in the native version control panel 10.3.183.7?  I've never used this front panel, I've always used this one.  Now I'm told that the one I've always used is an 'old' version and I shouldn't use.  Is this true?  If so, how can I manage my third party flash cookies in this "new"version?.  I am running Windows XP with Firefox 5.0.1.

Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Certainly, you can continue to use the online version you used.  It won't go away anytime soon.

    Hello

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

This is for possible later use, some standard information that addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) disable graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

    (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here and restart:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

  • 100 requests to continue POST deal with error in Firefox 24

    BUG Firefox 24!
24 Firefox manages POST requests with the error: when 100 continue answers are preceded by 200 OK response, and then Firefox does not deal with other responses (including 200 OK response) after receipt of the response to continue first 100.
Earlier versions more handle 100 continue properly.

I'm sorry, I tested my script with Mozilla Firefox 25 - was the same problem. But then I spilled http connection - the newspaper said then 100 response continues and 100 OK data are mixed and gzip'ped. Then I disable deflate module for my Apache Server - and all become Okey! So, I just disable the compaction modules incorrect return data to solve the problem. Web server: apache2-mpm-itk on Debian Linux winded 7.
