Decomposition Illustrator objects

I am addressing you pour to understand the functioning of the decomposition of objects in Illustrator (CS5).

    If I (put) understand, you just need to use effect > Distort & Transform > transformation twice and setting the number of copy to 1 less than the number desired in each direction (horizontally) and 23 back and forth if you want to end up with a total of 24 both directions, 576 total.

    In other words, from the object at one of the corners rather than in the middle. You can move the game as you want to get in the right place,

    With the first transformation, you get copies of the original object, with then one you get copies of the original and the first series of copies.

    Anything beyond that will give you a mess of copies on top of the other.

    but now this got colors converted to CMYK and also in JPEG format, as shown in Image 2 in illustrator

    Copy and past would do that.

    One method: Add this item to a library of CC and go from there.

    Another method: exports the INDD, PDF/X-4 and place it in Illustrator (if possible as a linked file).

  • New update of CC 2015 causing pasted Illustrator object fall behind all the other layers

    With the new CC 2015 update, I just did this morning (and of course had questions bizarre late development and other, but which is not the issue right now) I noticed that when I use Illustrator, when I paste an object, rather than stick it on top of all the other layers, as he always used it sticks now these objects behind all other layers.     SYMPTOMS: Slots form between elements when an Illustrator CS6 file is imported into Photoshop CS6 as a smart object.

  • Movement of placed Illustrator object when opening file

    I came across a weird problem! I have built and saved as illustrator file, something that has some kind of knockout (transparency). When I placed this item in another illustrator file, all right, and I save this new file. When I reopen it the new file, I noticed that illustrator has moved the object placed very slightly. I looked at other objects in this new file and placed files and illustrator doesn't seem to affect those.

    Whenever I re - save the file, illustrator adds the same position to the current position objects. If I just open the file without saving the changes, the position remains as is. The SHIFT is added by the Illustrator when I save the file!

    Does anyone have an idea what can cause this problem and how to prevent it? (I think it might have to do with the knockouts, but I can't understand it).

    It's CS4. Thank you.

    PS: Another weird thing is that when I tried to register the object-with-knockout as illustrator EPS, the EPS abandoned transparency file file.

    I tried with AI CS4 and was able to reproduce the problem with the files you provided and even a scracth with a place/related PNG file. This issue seems to happen more often with site-related files. It seems that it was a bug there'S CS4.

    I also tried the same steps with AI CC and there is no problem to the observed. You can also try it on your end... AI CC can be downlaoded from www.creative.adobe.com.

    Please let me know if you need further assistance in this regard.

  • Keeping text editable in Illustrator objects in InDesign

    I need to take the files that someone created artificial intelligence and convert them to CO-OPERATE.  This is a manual and for some reason, they have been designed with 10 files HAVE as well as 2 pages in each work plan.  So I need to create a book INDD, but I need the objects can be changed in the new files.  The function of site does not seem to do anything as important as a raster image.  The copy/paste function doesn't seem to work the text becomes described.

    Is it possible (without purchasing 3rd party software) to import the files HAVE in INDD with text to maintain its native editing capabilities?

    Lol place and use original edit in the menu when right clicking.

  • Vector glitch of anchor points with the transformation of the cs6 illustrator objects

    Vector anchor points glitch during the transformation of objects,

    It is if I create a square and turn it, let's say I have it increase by 200%, it creates additional anchor points in the square corners and also creates weird crenellated edges, when I hover over the square with the slider to show the edges, the line from the edge which shows blue is shifted in at the edge of the actual object reference (see attached img the orange object displays the quirky plan and the black object is supposed to be a) round square edged, but after that I turned (Shear 10 degrees) it apeared of curves in stairs)

    I already tried to launch updates and restart, but the issue continues to display.

    Make sure you use the same color space in both programs and create your mask in the destination color space. It's a problem of color management. This problem is because you use different color spaces in Illustrator and Photoshop.

    Most likely, you have created the mask in a CMYK (text) color space into Illustrator and your Photoshop document uses an RGB color space. Indeed you will have the same problem in Illustrator if you convert your document CMYK to RGB using the file > color mode of the Document or copy the work of a CMYK document and paste it into a document RGB. Having in mind that the problem is not limited only to the conversion between the RGB and CMYK color spaces, you might have the same problem when converting between the two areas of different color using the same color as RGB, for example sRGB template in Illustrator and Adobe RGB in Photoshop.     When I place Illustrator objects that have a blur (Te outer glow or the Gaussian Blur) shows pixelated in Illustrator.

    Desplay-Peformance is still set to high quality. And there's actually even like that when you export in png.

    What is the resolution of your pixelation effect? Even if Illustrator creates vectors, raster effect are not vectors. You have either to effect settings low raster in InDesign, or you put the image scaling in InDesign or you used an EPS (which should not be used with InDesign) instead of a file HAVE or PDF/X-4.

    When you work with Illustrator, don't use PNG for InDesign, use HAVE or PDF/X-4. How comes your PNG into the game?

  • problems of day 1 with Illustrator CC 2015?

    Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. The emergency update to a file Photoshop CC 2014 with a dynamic Vector Illustrator object. 2015 open PS the file very well, but the dynamic object thrown Ill 2015 in a window not optimized in terms that had collapsed to only three buttons to the left, not the right and floating a few pallets. Then a warning indicating that the application was not open wide enough to display the file.

    When I get to open in Illustrator CC 2015, the document window is black. All black, without handles when selected, in black only. In wired mode, I can see the outlines of vector art and get the handles when selected. If I copy the art into a new file, it displays nothing, a blank document and in wireframe, vector outlines. If I save this file, the next time I open it, its only in black...

    As support points out that the update to the latest video driver should solve the problem with the black screen of old drawings and I hope that the collapse of the min application space not mode full-screen.

    Note: Manager window devices reported that the NVIDIA drivers on my lapstation [sic] are up to date. After sending a file to Adobe support application tracking, they found that it was not the most recent driver available. I worked with my IT Department to have installed the new drivers and can see that initially, the problem is resolved. Fortunately, I can get this project from last quarter updated and back off to manufacturing.

  • Illustrator execution of an order of menu without user interaction

    It's a shame that the ability to script Illustrator is not as robust as InDesign.

    I have a script which runs through each path in a file and saves all the colors used in it.  The problem is that he stumbles against certain types of "PluginItem" s.  I was able to fix some of them, for example when it comes across a "Compound" form (as opposed to a compound path or other normal Illustrator object).  In such a case, I can select the path, and then call a menu command to extend this selection:

    I had to do some scrounging to figure out how to run this command 'Decompose the aspect' located in the 'Object' menu in Illustrator.  In fact, the only resource I found was a list that is partially in Japanese.  Moreover, this last element of the list is a recursive call to the same function in this if statement.

    So, the above code works for 'PluginItems' that can be corrected with a call to the menu item "object-> expand appearance".  What of those who are not, such as a wrapped object?  With those, I would normally just run the command above "Decaying appearance", called simply "expand...". "Well, only the menu items if displays a dialog box that, when the user clicks"OK"about this, will be properly expand the wrapped object so that the script can continue reading the roads he composed and get color fill and the race.

    I call this menu with a simple 'app.executeMenuCommand ("Expand3")"item; but my problem is this dialog box that appears.  I don't want the user to have to click 'OK' on this subject whenever he appears when the script wants to extend this object, but the traditional "app.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevel.DONTDISPLAYALERTS;' method does not work.

    Is it possible to extend the items wrapped without going through a dialog pop-up on the user box?

    for the Expand command (and others), you can record and action, disable 'dialogue' in the Panel action and such action with Javascript... I guess that the method is 'doScript "... I guess, I don't have CS6 to test, but it has been posted here.
