  I have a mini ipad with ios 9.2.1.  I want to choose gmail as my default e-mail account, but the 'default' option does not appear (as it does on my iphone with the same version of ios).  It must be less than the "signature" option in "Mail, Contacts, calendars" in the settings, but it isn't here.  Any suggestion on how to solve this problem?  Thank you.

  You have multiple e-mail accounts set up on your iPad in settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars, and at least two of them were currently "Messaging" enabled on them? I have several active accounts and I had the setting in iOS 9.2.1 (and now 9.3)

  I have 4 email accounts configured in Mail.app. When you compose a new message, it will be by default the account for the selected mailbox, which is great.   Changing the order of the mailbox makes no difference. There is a preference that would allow me to have all new messages come from a certain account, but I don't want that. I want to its default value of the box running mailbox if it exists. I want to just change the value by default when there is no current mailbox selected.

  Mail > Preferences > accounts (select your main account) > account number > AccountType IMAP 'email address '.

  I think it was a way to set the default "from" e-mail account when sending emails. I don't see this option in Mail preferences. I'm looking in the wrong place. • Windows Live Mail will not default on my default e-mail account

  I have several accounts email for different purposes.  Recently, I've upgraded to Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail.  I entered my 5 accounts, which work well for the entry.  But when I write a new message, Windows Live refuses to choose the account which I have appointed as 'default'.  The result is that a lot of my emails bounce because the receiver does not recognize me.  HOW can I tell Windows Live to use the account that I have referred to as 'default' as my default account?

  Which account is the default account is not used when you click New.
  The account being viewed will be in the field. This is by design and cannot be changed.

  Check the field to see which account is used.

  By clicking on the field opens the list of accounts to another account.

  You cannot disable the default Gmail account.  It is obligatory on the phone.  However, you can turn off notifications in the Gmail app.  That should eliminate the second notification.  Open the Gmail app and press Menu-> settings and uncheck the box to mail notifications.  This should take care of your problem.  I hope this helps.

  I have a curve 8310 with 4.5 installed.

  I have 3 email accounts with my gmail as default on outlook 2007. After I upgraded to 4.5 and the desktop software I found that I couldn't sync my BB and I had to change my default email on ADVANCED OPTIONS | SERVICES for other DEFAULT e-mail account.

  Question is what people do with multiple messages? Appointments are created via my email companies and then synchronized to my online calendar using google.

  A few appontments an account with gmail or company does not appear on my BB or outlook 2007.

  Does anyone have an idea?

  Go to the calendar and open it. Press menu, select options.

  You can see the calendars associated with email addresses. You will also see a calendar

  default named unit. Do you have records in multiple calendars?

  Click each calendar and all the way down, it will show you the number of records.

  There is an extension that allows you to rearrange the order of the accounts in the easy folderpane. It is manually sort folders.

  To do a particular server out by default, go to account settings > mail outgoing (SMTP), select the one to be the default and click set as default.
