Default games

uninstalled is default games xp window. How do you get them back?

If the games were installed before and you have uninstalled them from Add/Remove Programs, you will not have the CD to reinstall the games (I went through the process again myself).  I skipped the step 1 and did not ask for that CD. do not guess what the problem might be - understand and repair. I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

  • Windows Vista Ultimate default games (freecell, Minesweeper, Games Explorer, etc.) will not load or run.

    No error message is displayed.
    I tried:
    1. Uninstall and then reinstall the games through Control Panel.
    2. both UAC on and outside
    3. create a new user account

    chuck229,
I suggest that try you a few things.  Try first disabled at boot and then see if you are able to start them.  If you still have a problem, and then run the System File Checker.  You can also run the error-checking on your disk drive. Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • Getting default standard games to work...

I cleaned up a lot of junk out of my laptop, and I play Solitaire frequently... But I can't get ONE of my games default to open more.

I cleaned up a lot of junk out of my laptop

What "junk"? As the cleaning disc or just manually delete the files? I hope that nothing important :)

I will try to reinstall the game. For this you need to press the Windows key and type of windows features. Something like "turn on or off windows features" should appear. Click on that. You should have the ability to disable or turn off the games. Go ahead and uncheck the box and click OK. After that he was disabled successfully, just turn it back on. I hope that re - installs the default game files.

Please follow the steps below to the auditor of the filesystem as the first steps:
    1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
    2. in the area of results, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator. You will be asked to type the password for an administrator account. If you are the administrator or type the administrator password, click on continue. Then click on continue.

  • No games after installing Windows 7

Why don't have games installed on Windows 7 on the computer of my spouse (clean install of Windows 7)?  She plays games online, she wants just to return the ancient games of Vista.
