  You can manually delete the file. It should be in users / [user name] / Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings.

• Restore default preferences

  Hello

  My adobe manual suggests restore default preferences before each tutorial by removing the AIPrefs in the appropriate folder. While I did so successfully before for some reason any, it does not for the moment.  Panels, etc, are still in place, even after restarting my machine.

  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

  I am new to Lightroom and I followed a guide that allowed me to set import preferences. Now I want to change them, and although I see them in the import dialog box small I don't see a "File management" tab at any time. • I changed the value of the increment in the kerning by default preferences, but it had no effect

  InDesign CS5 using on an iMac. The default increment when you use the arrows the kerning and tracking on the control is +/-20 bar. I just found out that you can change it in preferences (units and increments - keyboard increments - kerning/tracking) so I set it to +/-5, but it has no effect.   This feedback only affects the value when you use the keyboard shortcuts, not push buttons.

  Is it possible to make a set of preferences to the default set of preferences for the new future designs? Or better yet, is it possible to save them in a file so that they can be shared by a team of modelers of data and thus facilitate the company naming standards?
  
  I've created a set of preferences for designs 1, saved, then came back and changed, then created Design 2. Default preferences for design 2 consisted of my initial (and not more recently unregistered) series of preferences for designs 1. Looks like there may be a bug here...

  Hi Sally,

  Ignore the button open. It does the same job. Select existing xml file or type in "test_exp.xml" and the path.
  Maybe you typed in 'test' without extension and could not find the file or it is in a different directory.
  It works trust me :-)

  I'm having issues affecting the Firefox default values for all users within our office environment managed. I read that you can use a mozilla.cfg and a local - settings.js. However, it doesn't seem to work. I also read on the grepref all.js file. But I can't see that on our installation of anywhere.

  Can you please help us help to set default preferences for all users that connect through our terminal Server farm. The links I used as references are below:

  You can make the changes in Firefox through the user interface or directly on: config and then check the file prefs.js after closing Firefox.

  You can copy lines to mozilla.cfg user_pref and change user_pref() to lockPref() calls.
  The mozilla.cfg file is executed as a JavaScript files with full chrome privileges and so may contain more parameters of pref, but any errors in the file will throw an exception and abandon.

  The mozilla.cfg file must begin with a comment line (/ /) (this first line will be skipped).

  use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify new values (default).

  Put a local file - settings.js in the folder defaults\pref also the file prefs.js - channel where to specify using mozilla.cfg.

  I'm building installation preconfigured Firefox 23.0.1 under Win 7 64-bit by using the browser\defaults\preferences\prefs.js file. Yes, I know that it should be called all-* companyname * .js, but it works generally in my way too.

  As I wrote in subj, when I add the file prefs.js "pref ("privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown", true);" line, then lines "pref ("privacy.clearOnShutdown.cookies", true)"; and "pref ("privacy.cpd.cookies", true);" stop working. If an execution on: config immediately after installation, it would see that the two latter options are passed to false and marked * bold * (changed by the user).

  I had tested it strongly: If a comment on 'pref ("privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown", true)'; line other two preferences work very well. However if you add this cursed pref either higher or lower than code - no matter - it turn the other two preferences to * fake *.

  The question is where these strange side effects are documented? And how do a preconfigured installation possible both sanitize things and erase cookie at the end?

  The problem came from Firefox 4 +. Just add a new line:

  user_pref ("privacy.sanitize.migrateFx3Prefs", true);

  in your prefs.js or true value in: config. Then your Firefox does not automatically "privacy.clearOnShutdown.cookies" and "privacy.cpd.cookies", false.

  I have a printer HP L7650. I have multiple IDS on Windows Vista. One of my ID works correctly. For other IDS, somehow the default preferences have been defined for something I don't want. When I press Reset, they rest in a proper setup and print correctly. However if I get out of the program (email, Word, no matter) and the reneter and print it, the preferences are set back to what I don't want. How to make the Reset preferences "stick" for this id? Thank you.

• Cannot export TEXT Index preferences via datapump

  Please bear with me, since I am new to the Oracle TEXT and I do not have a background of developer side Oracle.

  I took a datapump against my user on the source db schema and doesn't have a datapump imported on target db, and it does not create index on one of the table (received error DRG-10700), doing some research on Google and searching through Oracle metalink, I found that my table contains a search index of text for which certain preferences ctx that are present in the source never made to target db in order to solve the problem, I had to create these preferences manually on target db, so my question is does anyone know why datapump exported not ctx default preferences?
