• How autoinitialize controls to the value by default to run?

  Hi all

  I am trying to initialize the default values to controls just after the run button is hit. This only works if the control is loaded with default values before running. I am a frame and any kind of help will be really appreciated.

  Your VI is stupid. You must understand the data flow. Not sure if the control is going to write to the indicator, first, or if the case statement will run. What finally will you do with your program. I hope that you have some kind of while loop (do NOT use the continuous run button). Then the method would be just outside the loop and don't run once - no need an instruction box. You could also place inside the first State of a state machine.

  This compressor is broken so I jump into SOUL with some urgency, try to rebuild my custom presets.

  I want to be able to specify the target folder by default for the products of a particular "Preset".

  There is a solution, but it requires some work on the physical tab.  You must drag the elements around so that you end up with two targets.  The first target loads the multicables at T1 and T2 and the T3 the second target loads.  They must default to run in the series, which is what is needed.  Do not operate in parallel.  I had trouble with the icons at the top left of the updated (blue squares) execution units.  Move to the rear and logical view must correct them.

  I discovered what was going on.
  This strange "bug" affects multiple computers with Windows 7 Ultimate in my case.
  When you create a SRP (software restriction policies) it creates two rules by default to run programs: windows folder and the Program Files folder. I manually add "C:\Program Files (x 86)" in places without restriction. BUT Windows and Program Files folder to default rules directly, but through registry keys. And this part seems difficult. You CAN run the executable files of Program Files. You CAN run the Program Files (x 86) executables. But if Thunderbird or Firefox try to run MS Word or excel or editor for.doc or *.odt opening or another file - downloaded files running programs blocked by SRP.
  In order to fix this, simply replace the rules for indirect paths like % HKLM/software/microsoft/windows... etc % with direct, for example "C:/Windows" and "C:/Program Files /". After that, everything works fine. Attachments and downloaded files automatically opens without a problem.

  I think that you do not have a status of critical competition because of bad behavior.  You press the stop button, that's true when you're now pressed.  The true stops the loop, you have a very short wait, then the reset to default product which returns the button returns to its default state.  During this time, you can't run that fast and you are always press the button down while all this is happening, then when you go and release the button, even if the VI has now ceased, this version cancels the action and return to the other State (since now it is false, it returns true).

  This is why the value of waiting that you add seems to work if you do it long enough.  You yourself gave enough time to naturally release the button.

  To prove it, make the long wait.  Then run your VI and press the button downwards, but takes even longer to release him.  You will see the same behavior when you add the very short or no, wait, and a much more natural on a button or release.
