  Hi people, I produce works for printing consisting of several versions of labels/way-markers indicating similar graphics, elements of individual texts and two unique QR codes by label.
  The problem is that production of QR software produced different sizes of content-based QR. On my label in Illustrator templates they all need to be the same size, for example 34x34mm.

  Change the size through the dialogue of transformation works perfectly, but one at a time is a pain. You use Photoshop batch resize, blur of the edges.

  If the QR code images are all in a single Illustrator file... or you can get them there, they could be batch resized using the script Set All The Things.

• Object changes shape during transformation

  This used to work fine, now all of a sudden, when I flip an object through the Horizontal or Vertical flip command it is resized proportionally, or fairy.  Track OFF not just a little.

  It may be a corruption of preference. You can try to:

  (1) close and restart Illy;

  (2) close and restart the computer;

  sometimes 1) or (2) allows, otherwise, you can reset the preferences:

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (irreversible)

  (4) close and move the folder (more laborious but reversible);

  Or it may be interference from another application; You can have a quick glance at section 7 in the other options .

• Issue of conversion/resizing in Illustrator CC

  I am a very frustrating bug in AI CC. If I have an object/group/trace quite complex and I want to resize it (hold down the SHIFT key to constrain), points and random anchors get distorted so I lose spaces carefully built and curves - even simple circles get horribly distorted. It is bad enough. Telephone support was not helpful and could suggest only workaround solutions I used already (by first a symbol), but it's not really useful in the design process.

  You can try to untick the box if checked in the transformation Panel. In the Options you can also uncheck the box for new objects.

• "Bleeding" colors during a resizing smart objects

  Resizing of the smart object uses the method of interpolation image defined in preferences > General. The default value changed between CS5 and CS6, and many people don't like change.

  CS5 has by default the bicubic.

  CS6 is by default set to automatic bicubic. Auto translates Bicubic Sharper when reducing the pixel dimensions and bicubic smoother at the pixel dimensions increase. Bicubic Sarper tend to oversharpen and create ugly artifacts like the halo that is plagueing you.

  Set preferences in CS6 to simple to make as CS5 bicubic.

  CS6, free transform now also has an independent for interpolation control when pixelated layers are being targeted. He is set to bicubic automatic by default, so simple that bicubic value, too.

  You cannot move the location of project PSE 6 and 7. You move this way elements become a sort of semi-smart object on a layer special passthrough. Use the copy/paste or drag it from the palette layers in the png file in the window of the main image of the psd file.

• Shape cutting of jpeg in Illustrator CS2

  You want to set up the same way and make an opacity mask inverted.

  Select it $ and jpeg format with the $ on top can be the living text in case you need to change in pounds or euros.

  It's probably a problem with the GPU driver software. It is recommended to install the latest GPU driver.

  I also experienced the partial brush in CS5, but I hesitate to change the driver since everything is good in CS4. Right now I am trialing CS5 and do not want to break up CS4 by antics with the driver. (Install the latest driver on my GPU Bridge CS4 breaks.)

• Resizing a Rectangle "proportionally" (with shift) is not proportional.

  I can't understand what is happening.  I duplicate a layer that has the shape of a rectangle (marquee used to make the form, create a new layer, it filled with a color) and I want to resize the background layer to make it big as a framework.  I don't need an exact 2 inches on both sides, but I don't want the rectangle to increase the exact same on both sides as I hold the SHIFT key and make it so when I Center them both there will be an amount that is equal on all sides.  Pretty much is the definition of proportional, right?  But for some reason, no matter how (lock the proportions of the h/w, just hold shift across the Middle, use shape layers and resize instead of framing area), I get a side more and more more than the other.  The percentages of width/height (when I click on that instead of pixels or inches) increase the same, but the pixels and inches are growing differently.  I don't want the percentages increase proportionately, I want the real INCHES to increase proportionally.  Am I missing something simple?  Help, please!

  It's a puzzle for sure, and I don't know an easy way to do it. A few ways to achieve this:

  Select all (Ctrl a)

  Select > modify > contract.  Insert the number of pixels you want to reduce the layer, (ensuring that apply effect to the limits of the canvas is checked.)

  

  OK, inverting the selection and press the delete key.

  Add a layer mask and the layer mask choose inside of the desired amount of the race.

  Right-click and apply the mask layer.

  Free transform layer and put the new values in pixels in the Options bar.

  If you do not reduce by a large amount, place the cursor in the width field and hold down the SHIFT key while pressing the arrow down.  Each press will reduce the value of ten.  In the height field tab and repeat the same amount.

  If there is an easier way to do it, I'd be glad to know what it is.

  I have reviewed some of the other discussions that indicate that the pencil is now in the Shaper tool. However, I have not a Shaper tool. Instead, I have a pencil with four options of pencil and no option Shaper. Is this a bug?

• How to disable click + hold + drag to see how the object is resized in 2015, CC Indesign?

  I've recently updated for Indesign CS5 to CC 2015.

  In CS5, during the resizing of an image into cmd and dragging the corners, the content shows how it is resized 'live' by default (the content inside the img/text area shows how it is changed with every movement of your cursor clicked pixel). In CC, please either let go of click to see the resized image or click and hold the choice to see the change 'live' while dragging. This happens when you simply move the text/image box to a new location.

  Is there a way to toggle this function?
