Your battery is able to load normally. However, it is to reach the end of its useful life. How to remove this message? Uninstall DCP is not solution. Why confuse customer with such message him suggesting that me, as dealer sold him BAD laptop with DEFECTIVE battery?

Reference models included Dell of Directors with the development package which deals with all these massages. To use follow these them steps:

3. start Group Policy Editor - click on the Start button and in the search for the box type gpedit.msc and click the result;

4. navigate to Computer Configuration-> models-> system-> Dell-> Feature Enhancement Pack-> events of the administration system and double-click on the battery in the right pane.

5. Select Enable radio button and check battery health degraded for this particular massage;

6. you can get rid of all other massages there as well;

  • Consider the message of your battery on the Qosmio X 770

    Hi all

    as the subject says main message "Consider replacing your battery" appeared all of a sudden my Qosmio X 770 - 11 c.

    The way I use my laptop computer is not with the battery, for the most part plugged all the time. From time to time I use the battery to drain up to 0% and then laptop closed I load it in full. Got the laptop for 4-5months and battery used in all not more than 3 times, so can't be that problematic.

    Never had a problem with such a message in the past, but probably after an update or something in Windows, it began to appear, and I saw him just now.

    Google does and discovered that there is a history of this notification of battery since Windows 7 RC, but my question is,.

    Someone of you is aware of this? Anyone know a possible fix or a solution that actually works? Any advice?

    I know that I could contact Toshiba and maybe solve this problem with a replacement of the battery (probably), but I'm sure that
    my battery use is minimal and that it was never a problem, perhaps are something that we can fix somehow.

    Best regards

    Future prospects for some answers and help :)

    Hello

    In your case, I recommend to calibrate the battery.
    Calibration means unload completely the battery until its completely empty and then to charge until the battery charge light would turn to green.
    This procedure should be repeated several times in the line to make sure that the battery has been properly calibrated.

    Of course, this will only work if the battery is not bad
    Since this message may appear because of malfunctioning of the accumulator, a replacement would be possible also

    By the way: Please check if a VAP (value added package) update or new installation would be helps remove this message.

    Hi MICHAELRIVERA,

    ·         Who is the manufacturer of the laptop?

    ·         What operating system do you use?

    If your laptop does not charge:

    a. This may be caused by a faulty adapter (the part that you plug into the wall socket)

    (b) a component on the motherboard defective charger.

    Try the following.

    I suggest checking the connections, connect it properly, or contact the manufacturer. If you have a spare power adapter only to login and check. (Of the same brand and model)

    a. Click Start and type device in the search for field, and then select Device Manager.

    b. expand the batteries category.

    c. under the batteries category, right-click in the list of Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and choose uninstall.

    WARNING: Do not remove the Microsoft AC adapter driver or any other compatible ACPI driver.

    d. on the Device Manager, select Action, and then search for the hardware changes.

    Hello

    Battery could be bad and must be replaced.

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
    (as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery

  • Message "Consider replacing your battery" Windows 7 and battery.

    In the previous beta and Windows 7 RC, I received an error message saying "Consider replacing your battery" "there is a problem with your battery, so your computer might suddenly turns off".

    I know that the battery is good. It works great under Vista, this isn't about 4 months, it lasts 2 hours +, and even in Windows 7, it will last for the same period of time as it did in Vista.

    People say (as well as microsoft) that it's the BIOS and it must be updated.  Well, I got the latest BIOS from LG, which is dated in 2009, and that has not changed anything.  I conclude that it is NOT the BIOS because vista has reported estimated time left of the battery very well, even before the bios update, and I have the latest version of the BIOS.

    I ran the command powercfg of energy and he said that windows was not able to determine the capacity of the battery, but if I install the batery LG application, it will tell me all the information on the battery.

    I even went up to try battery of my friend who is less than 3 weeks, and there was always the same error messages.

    Microsoft, fix this problem and if you cannot, then give users an option to take out / disable the flashing X which is on top of the power tray icon and remove both her "consider replacing your battery" and "there is a problem with your battery, so your computer might turns off suddenly" messages so we don't have to see that every day because the battery is actually GOOD and functioning.
