Delete positions in TestStand reports

  • Create my own deletion links in a report

    I use the instance online on apex.oracle.com.

    I am trying to create links 'Remove' in a report. Here are the steps that I've taken to establish this:

    1 modify the query to add a static column 'DELETE '.

    2. create a hidden page P4_REM_ROWID element

    3. in the attributes column, make a link to the column, the column REMOVE target: Page in this Application, Page: 4 (same page), ask: DELETE Item1: P4_REM_ROWID, value1: #ROWID # and accepting the default values for the others.

    4. create a process: On Load - before header, execute processes: once a page visit. Condition type: request = Expression 1, term 1: REMOVE

    With the following PL/SQL:
    BEGIN
      DELETE FROM my_table WHERE rowid = :P4_REM_ROWID;
    END;
    When I click a delete link in the report, I will not get an error, but nothing will be deleted.

    I found that it doesn't, it is because the order of the day: P4_REM_ROWID will actually have the value NULL when the code is executed.

    Anyone know where this is wrong?

    Sorry that I missed a bit here... because before submitting the page, you must set the value of the rowid in your page, article, so it can be used in PL/SQL

    Add this javascript function to your page header

    function deleteRow(pRwId) {
    //set the row id value into page item before submitting
     $s('P4_REM_ROWID',pRwId);
    //submit the page
     doSubmit('REMOVE');
    }

    Select rather target: URL > in the URL field add javascript:deleteRow('#ROWID#');

    Change this by creating a process: on submit - after calculations and Validations

    This should work, mark it

  • How can I get my Teststand report to display only the data of the latest iteration of a loop DoWhile ONLY stage?

    Good so I a DoWhile loop with a numeric value to test.  The loop will run 10 times.  I want only the status of success/failure of the test of the numerical value of the last iteration of the loop is displayed in the report.  I don't like on the other iterations.  Help, please!  Thanks in advance I think that this can be accomplished with the recall of ModifyReportEntry and fancy logic...

    Thanks for your comments everyone.  I ended up changing the reportgen_txt.seq to identify during my test was in a loop (by setting an additional result in the different stages of my comment loop-step to say "Record last loop.".)  Once this indicator lies in the ResultList I turn to reportgen_txt, I have to loop through all the ResultList entries and if the current entry has the same name and the "record last of loop." as a previous entry, I delete the previous entry and store the current.  All this way, I have to do is to set a flag in my test sequence, and if when debugging, I want to see all the data for all the iterations, I just remove the flag.

    The reportgen_txt.seq include:

    C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 2010\Components\Models\TestStandModels

    I'm not worried about the time constants on my generation of report and I am not limited to stress strict memory so this seemed like the best way for me to do what I had accomplished.  I'm sure there are better ways, but it seemed simpler than the generation of report definition to be disabled and then enabled...

  • TestStand report indicates a value of passage as a failure

    I came across a possible bug I want to put some feed on.  Attached is a sequence and VI that when run in test USE of all other iterations for the step values (i.e. next USE) the result will be maintained from the last USE and it will appear in the report. The ITI is a version of stripped-down-to-nothing of the test sequence acutal on soil with tricks to simulate error.

    Step has the mistake of ignoring and this situation occurs when an error occurs, but I do not expect the previous test result value is displayed.  Run the sequence and see what I mean.  It generated a report that puts my workshop on the issue of the stability of the TS.

    PS. LV 8.5 TS 4.0

    Paul-

    The reason are getting failed with a measure of the last good USE is due to many issues of compounding. The sequence is the default setting "Optimize not reentrant calls to this sequence", which essentially tells TestStand to cache a copy of the duration of the procedure described in this sequence to improve performance for each subsequent call to the sequence. So the value of Step.Result.Numeric will not only be maintained whenever you call the step proceeding of the sequence, but now also sequential calls. Then, note that the report shows that you had 10 iterations executed with 0 past and 0 failed. This means that you got errors on all iterations. Now, a step loop reuses the result of step that it executes each loop and the final result of synthesis is a snapshot of the latest iteration. Since you are ignorant mistakes, the numerical value of the result of step never gets updated, so the result of the final summary step is the same as the last object to be measured. The loop code then sets the State of the loop to fail because no iteration didn't.

    Look at the report attached to illustrate the behavior. The report shows you the results of each iteration, as well as the summary of parent result.

    Ignore the errors in general is a bad idea, but assuming you want to continue to ignore the errors, do one of the following in the order or ease and better behaviors:

    (1) add a preexpression to assign a default value, such as zero or NAN Step.Result.Numeric
    (2) uncheck the setting "optimize not reentrant call to this sequence", so that the default value of zero will be used for Step.Result.Numeric
    (3) add another step after that you use to see if at least one iteration success or failure.

    Somehow my gkids gave a registry cleaner on my computer and I understand that they've caused this problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

    It is safe to delete the user queue error report file using disk cleanup and they would cause problems because it is only a debug log file.

    Note:
    There are opportunities to lose system restore points while performing disk cleanup.
    You can also check:

    Note:
    Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Delete the deletion for developers OBIEE report option

    Hi all

    We have an application role for a developer where he can remove reports of PROD. but we want to go forward with 1 more application role new where the developers must have all privileges except Delete option.

    We have 2 application roles to role of Developer 1 with delete option and others without the delete option.

    We have a huge catalogue with more than 35,000 reports altogether.

    For a particular report:

    Catalog-> shared-> reports, make files right click and option remove this can be removed in permissions-> customize - > uncheck the box delete

    Shared folder:

    Catalogue->-> shared folders permissions Select custom and deselect the Delete option

    But we are looking for something has changed in the world to remove option to remove existing EM (application policies) application role or OBIEE level.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    I don't see a way for you to find it in EM.

    The button Delete is something related to catalogue objects, that's why I think, is the only place where you can set or remove it in the catalog itself (as you say).

    For your 35000 reports you can still do so by code (web service, etc.)

  • How to add the delete function to a report that is already created?

    Hey, guys:

    I'm not familiar with the form relative to the APEX. I have a lot of forms with the reports that has been created before, but they only create buttons. Now I need to add, edit and delete buttons. I wish I didn't have to recreate forms with reports. But when I tried to add the Remove feature by comparing a form with button Delete created by APEX, but it does not work. remove the button does not respond.

    parameter is as follows:

    style button: button model based
    model of button: button
    button type: normal

    Action: redirecting to a URL
    Run validation: No.
    Target URL: javascript:apex.confirm (htmldb_delete_message, 'DELETE');
    action of databases: SQL delete action

    condition type: point value / column in expression1 is not null
    expression1: P2172_ALIAS_ID

    I also activate the deletion in process: "SOR_ALIAS line process. '

    If I set the action of the button delete that submit the page, I can delete the line, but no standard popup alerts, could someone help me on this?

    Thank you.

    Sam

    Hello

    When you try to reproduce your problem, since all you posted was going well for me, I came across an error that htmldb_delete_message was not defined (you could check your browser console, usually by pressing F12 and select the console tab to see what happends when you press the button).
    Perhaps this is also the case in your configuration, simply replace the URL target with the text below to see if that's the problem.

    JavaScript:apex.confirm ("are you sure you want to delete this record?","REMOVE" ');

  • Deletion of my account reports

    Hello

    I'm in OBIEE 10 g. How can I delete all the files in 'my account '? When I go to Manage catalog, I delete one by one, is there a way to delete all reports in my folder at a time?

    Thanks for your time and your help.

    Hi ssk.

    You can actually do this in one step. Log on as administrator. Go to the catalog and change the display to the user view Admin mode. After the passage in admin mode, you will have the users folder. Select this folder and delete the folder of the user that you want to remove everything in one fell swoop.

    Hope that your question is answered.

    Assign points if helpful.

    Thank you

    Hello:

    Assume that your report query is something similar to
    Select empno, ename from EMP

    You perform the following steps
    In the report column attributes, set the column for the column 'empno' link redirect to a URL
    Set the URL to be
    JavaScript:doDelete(#empno#);
    Create a button named 'DELETE '. Set the button submit page and the branch to the same page. Set the State of the button to 'never '.
    Create a page named "P1_EMPNO" of hidden type element
    Create a pl/sql 'submit' page process that is conditional on the "DELETE" button with the following code

      delete from emp where empno=:p1_empno;

  • Insert a button Delete in an interactive report

    Hi all

    I just watched this series of tutorials with great interest and made the entire application:

    http://apps2fusion.com/at/KR/391-Oracle-Apex-person-details-tutorial-02-delete-functionality

    Now I'm wondering if it is possible to do the same with an interactive report. Basically, I want to create a button "remove and edit" into 2 separate columns (integrated in the report).

    I add a column zero, but it does not work the same way... am I wrong? Is there another way appropriate to achieve this? I get a strange result (IE can not display the icon etc.)

    SELECT NULL "Button", JJ. CD_PERM, LAST_NAME, NAME, DT_NAISSANCE, SEX, ANNEE_SESSION, CD_PGM, UNIV_ACCUEIL, INST_ABRG, DUREE_SEJOUR
    OF DAF_COURT_SEJOUR_BOURSIER CLSD, GP GEN_PERSONNE, SD DAF_DICTIONNAIRE DAF_TB_INST DTI
    WHERE
    DD.NO_PERSONNE = GP.NO_PERSONNE AND
    DD CD_PERM GROUP CLSD. CD_PERM AND
    CLSD. UNIV_ACCUEIL = DTI. CD_INST

    Sorry for my bad English!

    Thanks for your time

    Jeff.

    Hello Jeff,.

    First an interactive report has a default link column in its properties. Simply go to the details of EI and section "link." From there on out, it will be easy enough to implement one of two buttons. For a second, we'll miss sections link. So for this one, you could do several things, such as the selection of the image of your sql query:

    SELECT '' "Button", DD.CD_PERM, NOM_FAMILLE, PRENOM, DT_NAISSANCE, SEXE, ANNEE_SESSION, CD_PGM, UNIV_ACCUEIL, INST_ABRG, DUREE_SEJOUR
    FROM DAF_COURT_SEJOUR_BOURSIER DCSB, GEN_PERSONNE GP, DAF_DICTIONNAIRE DD, DAF_TB_INST DTI
    WHERE
    DD.NO_PERSONNE = GP.NO_PERSONNE AND
    DD.CD_PERM = DCSB.CD_PERM AND
    DCSB.UNIV_ACCUEIL = DTI.CD_INST

    And just add a link in the column itself.

  • Dynamic position in interactive report

    In standard reports, it is possible to create dynamic topics using PL/SQL.

    Does anyone know a way to do it for interactive reports?

    I have a report that must change the date items depends on the selected start date.

    Thank you

    Jon

    Hi Jon,

    It's a little different from what you expect.
    What you can do, is to refer to an element hidden for ex. In your interactive report you're & P1_ITEM. that contains your dynamic position (PLSQL code)

    Kind regards

    As I said, there is nothing private in incident reports, I don't know why you are worried, you're going to lose your job on that. Unless you put something in the comments field (and you should never put private information in any comments anywhere unless you are certain about it at 100%), then there is no private information. I don't know your report for one of the thousands of others unless you told me that the ID associated with it. So I don't know what you're worried about here.

    Are you compensation/reactivate the interactive link (button, breadcrumb) report? Reference: a link to the interactive reports

    As clearing (CIR) /resetting (IRB) interactive report leads to clear the filters applied to the interactive report in the session active.

    Note: Filters / other attributes of the action menu applied to the interactive report are specific session, user may choose to save it as a saved report interactive and developer can choose to save as the main report.

    For more information about interactive reports see the Oracle APEX documentation and tutorials available on Oracle Learning Library like this:
